Yes! If you are starting a character in Iwagakure you have the choice to be a Yukigakure ninja who is currently working in Iwagakure no Sato.

Why are there Yukigakure ninja in Iwagakure?

The short version is that Yukigakure and Iwagakure had a war, and Yukigakure lost. The defeat left them with no leadership, and Iwagakure occupied and absorbed their resources for the time being. Subtle Elements; Earth
Effect: May use Earth element techniques. Whenever an Earth Element technique is used, the user gains +8 to their Block Range on the following turn. This ability cannot stack with itself. All 5 'Subtle Element' skills share ranks.

Mountain Ox Style
A good offense is the best defense, and the Mountain Ox Style takes this philosophy to the mat, literally. This martial art makes use of low attacks, grapples and throws that keep a low center of gravity and strong hand techniques, notably the bridge hand and the versatile tiger claw. Students of this style often spend hours in training only standing in a single low stance, which builds strength and focus. Mountain Ox Style is sometimes mis-characterized as solely external; that is, reliant on brute physical force; even though the student advances progressively towards an internal focus.
Effect: The user of the Ox Style gains an Ox Charge each time they use an Ox Style technique instead of when they land a successful hit. Ox Charges may be spent in one of the three following ways.
1. The user may spend an Ox Charge during their Main Phase to increase the damage of an Mountain Ox Style technique by 5x% as well as increasing their Defense stat by 10x% until their following Main Phase, where x is the amount of charges spent.
2. The user may perform a technique that requires the use of Ox Charges.
Requirements: Iwagakure Ninja or 5 post training session with a ninja who already knows this skill.

Combinatorial; Snow
Effect: May use Snow Element techniques. A player hit with a Snow Element technique takes damage to their Chakra or Stamina (inflicted player's choice) equal to 5% of their current Defense or Evasion (whichever is greater), rounded up. In addition, the user may choose to apply the bonus from one of the Subtle Elements skills required to learn this element if they own it.

What to look for in a clan:

There are many clans out there. There are also many perks to them as well as disadvantages. Try to pick something you know you would have fun role-playing. Remember, most clans have specific jutsu, skills, and sometimes items or summons, which are specific to them and no one else. Some clans even have bloodlines, which can provide and interesting twist to your character.

There are a lot of clans out there, try to steer clear of the legendary ones(Example: Uchiha or Hyuuga) until you are a well-known player, you probably won't be accepted otherwise. Also pay close attention to the clan capacity. Some clan have a certain number of possible participants, if a clan is full you will be denied entry.

Clan Role-play advantages and disadvantages:

Role-playing within a clan can be rather fun and unique depending on how many people are in the clan. When you and another player share the same clan, you become family. It would be like having a partner and someone you can role-play with regularly, simply because your characters know each other. This is helpful when looking for training, mission help, or even something to pass the time.

Sometimes role-playing in a clan can be confining. When in a clan, you must follow the clan's perspective. In other words, if the clan is affiliated with Ncia then your character should also be. If clan members usually are aggressive and cold, your character should be as well. When deciding which clan you want, be sure to read the clan history to find out this information.

Contacting the Clan head:

The clan head is usually the person who posted the clan sheet unless otherwise stated. To enter a clan you must PM the clan head for approval. If the Clan head has been inactive for a while sometimes they will hand over leader status to someone else. If the clan head has not done so, you should assume the clan is closed and pick another.
