You remember when super nintendo's became popular. pressing "A,B, Up, Down, A, B, Left, Right, A, B, START" on your nintendo controller got you infinite lives. You had a pogo-ball (the toy that had a ring around the ball that you stood on the lip of so you could bounce around) When gas was $0.95 a gallon & Caller ID was a new thing. Hardcore Skittlez Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 Wow. Now I feel Old. I laughed at like, 7-8 of them. The Green Ranger was always so much cooler than the others...He had a sword... Strangely enough, I remember most of that from my early childhood, but could not remembet it all, after all, I was born in '91. I can also still remember watching the Jurasic(Whatever) Park movies, and getting scared to dead. Remember when Sonic 3D Was a revolution? Yeah, me too. Quote
Kouta Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 7-8? Try like...all but the MC Hammer joke and a few others...I'm so 90 it ain't funny.... *born in 91...* Quote
Arashi Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 So 90's. 90%(coincidence?) of them were true on me. Ninja turtles was my favo tv-show, and I remember when my friend bought his super nintendo. It was like... wow. Man, I can't believe that those statements can be just so truth! (and I can sing fresh prince on spanish, that counts, no?) Quote
Guest kuratg Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 (edited) OMG! I sooo went down memory lane there. I remember the very first season of Power Rangers. My first tamagochi was a duck and it died every two weeks for me. I had a New Kids on the Block lunch box that I took to school every day with my trapper keeper. I still have my signed Spice Girls poster here in my room somewhere. I remember when they CANCLED Are You Afraid of the Dark?. I remember fighting with my mom to get me a CD player to replace my Walk-man. I also remember when, by today's standards, the crappiest CD player was worth 70+ bucks. I myself voted for the purple M&M. I think you forgot the yo-yo craze after the pogs, which, if I may add, are still taking up an entire drawer in my room. I LOVE THE 90's!!!!!!!!!!!!!! EDIT: Don't forget about Pokemon. XD They banned the cards from my sixth grade school because people were stealing the 'rare' cards. I jacked someone's Charizard. Buuuwhahaha. Edited May 24, 2006 by kuratg Quote
Azure Posted May 24, 2006 Posted May 24, 2006 haha I laughed at alot of them because I can remeber most of them happeneing. You always hear things about a certain time period that made them special, but you don't know what to say about the 90's because you lived them (for us younger members). *born in 91* Quote

Guest Imakuni? Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 Favorite 90's moments: -The fall of The Spice Girls (The boys had a friggin' parade, however those British succubus's ultimately won by getting those damned catchy tunes stuck in our heads for eternity) -Finally getting 1st Edititon Charizard, Blastoise, and Venasuar through rigorous trading on the school playground (It was like a stock market crash in those days... ahh the memories) -And having that pile-o-crap Magikarp that the fat bastard in the PokeCenter sold you for $500 evolve into Gyarados at level 20 while lost in Mt. Moon (And kicking Gary's ass across the floor with it... serves that prick right) Worst 90's moments: -"Mmm Bop", and Celine Dione with that damn Titanic song... Quote
Matthias Drake Posted May 26, 2006 Posted May 26, 2006 The worst 90s moment was totally the Clinton scandal. I'm serious. Only in America can a man be considered the devil by half the population for gettin' his mack on. Stupid American pigdogs. Quote

Guest PirateNiNjA Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 ive seen this before but i never get tired of it *born in 89* man i remember pretty much all of them and ive always said the 90s were the best. im still stuck in the 90s with my grungesque look and my love of ripped jeans and the smile the cames to my face when i think about my LA lights that i had in preschool the OG of light up shoes. i was the biggest power ranger freak ever black and green were my faves i hated red and still do *GRRR* red is my least fav color and of course he had to be the leader RAWR jerk, the actor became a gay pornstar LMAO trini (the original yellow ranger) died in 2001 in a car accident, tommy the green/white/red ranger is still on the show and is now "the professor"/the black ranger. who else thinks TV in the 90s OWNS TV now? I DO!!!! Quote

experimental lover Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Has anyone played Math blaster? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> In school, but what I remember most was the CD you bought to take home for your Compaq Windows 95 (that was totally spanin'!) with brand new AOL Dail-up access, so that you could play this little game about how an evil witch-queen had taken over Funland, and learning would defeat her! Quote
Cloudnine Posted May 28, 2006 Posted May 28, 2006 Mmm...I used to LOVE ADORE Captain Planet. >.> And...Johnny Quest, and the Thundercats...<---I think those were the names. I also remember...Magic Schoolbus and Reading Rainbow, but we watched those in school. And...Oregon Trail- It was a school project once...my little 'character' died, and I was the leader, so the entire wagon party failed. XD Mmmm...and the Pokemon fad...it was crazy. I remember having my shiny Charizard get stolen...like...a gajillion times. Some guy kept getting it back for me. ^-^ And...I absolutely adored my shiny Arcanine, Flareon, and Moltres cards! Quote
