Ya, friendships get ruined that way, so they tend to flock to people who they are not friends with so its not awkward, thats what I found lol.

The easiest thing to do is simple:

Dont think that any actions made by a girl mean that they like you. This will make you seem kinda oblivious, and maybe frustrate them a little. But it works. In weeding out when they like you, they'll usually grab you by the shoulders, shake you around and say "What the hell is wrong with you, ask me out already"

Guys wouldnt touch a girl didnt like becuase they are generally, openly more selective.

Whereas Girls are the embodiement of some kind of all loving creature, more one with nature than us and thus; loving the ugly.

Yes... Girls are complex... I often try to see if one likes me or not... but alas to no avail... and yes girls do have that playful will touch you thing even though they have a bf or etc... In my personal experience I was standing in line and then a random girl ran up and smacked my ass and then ran away... was it affection? was it playful? it was playful... but yea... you see my point... girls do weird things...
