(not much, you get a better picture with the link below) -Physical Description: He has an average build for his age, his skin is a light pale coloured and has a strange symbol on his right shoulder. This strange symbol was given to him at birth, he was told (when he was older) that the symbol was a mark of fate, that he would one day bring back the Kurobara name. Full Appearance ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~History~ Background: Akira was born on the night his father and mother died, Kurobara Juyken, he was an ANBU and was captured and was totured, which lead him to tell where Akira, his brother - Kurobara Hykan - and his mother - KurobaraGrenle. Before they were lead to him, his brother, mother and his uncle made a ritual and 'sealed' this symbol on him, it is unknown if it gives powers or not. The people who killed his father stormed the house and tried to kill the rest of the family the succeeded in killing his other family relatives but his brother managed to kill them with the help of a friend. His uncle managed to escape, and he would know who murdered his family. A few years later and Akira learnt why his mother and father were not around any more, and learned some ninja techniques to aid him in his adventure in becoming a shinobi. He enrolled at the age of eight and began his way in becoming a ninja. He studied hard and learned as much as he could from his brother and from the academy. His brother did most of the training, as the teachers taught about different things and some training. His brother taught him mostly taijutsu and using kunai and shuriken. Days past and past and Akira visited the grave of his dead parents bringing fresh flowers and getting rid of the old ones. He always went early in the morning and when he got home from the academy. As they pst Akuba wonders about his symbol and if it will help him in some way, he hopes it will so he can avenge his familys death and restore the Kurobara family name! With the current events happening so fast, he wondered what would become of Cloud and Konoha, when the attack happened Akuba was still an academy student, although he did wish he could be a ninja and help aid Konoha in the 'attack' even if it meant his own death, the other academy students he was with were evacuated to the shelter. That was two years ago..... After Akira has gained his Gennin rank in an underground network academy for the resistance he looked back at how he escaped the battle. He remered going to the shelter and almost being killed by a group of Cloud Shinobi, the Chunnin and Jounin teachers fought them off and they made pace to the shelter, a girl behind him triped up and fell flat on the ground, a Cloud shinobi took the opportunity to go for a deadly strike, without knowing what he did Akira just managed to get a glimpse of the shinobi and randomly threw three kunai at him or her. They seemed to hit but it was just the replacement technique, the ninja appeared behind him and he thought it would be then end, except for a Konoha shinobi who managed to take the Cloud ninja by suprise and break his or her's neck. Akiranow trains with others of the resiliance in an underground network or where ever they can, without the Kumo forces knowing.... ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Persona~ Personality: Academy Student (12) Akuba is a friendly guy once you get to know him, he likes a laugh and is always up for a new adventure or journey. He can be an idiot at sometimes but makes up for this 'idioctity' by trying hard and never giving up at his dreams and goals. Akuba will never give up at the site of a dangerous situation and will try and over come the problem by any means nessecary. Gennin (15) With the attack on Konoha and the other countries over, Akuba know took up a more serious and colder attitude, he doesn't really know why the Kumo attacked but he does want to put a stop to them. His idiot side of him stopped and his serious and more colder side took over, after all he had been in a near death situation. He doesn't talk much but likes a laugh and serious training, he will do anything for the people he cares for and for his friends even if it means ....... his own death. Likes: Eating Ramen, Training, Adventuring. Name: Kawarimi no Jutsu (Body Substitute Technique) Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Academy Student Cost: 10 Ninjutsu Description: A lifesaver, and a must-have technique. With this technique, the user is able to swap their body with a nearby object, usually a log, which will take the full force of any incoming blows for them, while they retreat to safe ground or search for an opening. You can only use this 3 times per battle. Damage: None Effects:Evade the next attack aimed at you. You are unable to attack the opponent the turn you use this. You can only use this 3 times per battle. This technique cannot be used to dodge Ninjutsu, Taijutsu or Genjutsu Techniques. Other Jutsus: Powerful Fireball Skill (Katon Goukakyuu no Jutsu) Type: Ninjutsu (Konoha) Rank: Gennin Cost: 40 Damage: 30, 6 burn damage a turn for 2 turns. Effect: If performed by a member of the Uchiha clan this technique causes serious burning which will extend the burn to five posts. If this technique misses the user is left vulnerable for one post due to the awkward position they need to take to use the jutsu. Description: The trademark fireball jutsu, this technique creates fire from the lungs and generates it through the mouth, funneling through a hand put in front of the mouth. Due to needing to stand still and putting the hands away from the defense this can be a risky move. Points: 2 Wind Blade (Kaze no Yaiba) Type: Ninjutsu (Wind) Rank: Gennin Cost: 40 Damage: 20 Effect:: A very hard to dodge and especially penetrating attack. +5% chance to hit with this attack. Description: A sword of wind that forces compressed air to cut through the target. Since it is so fast and hard to see it is hard to avoid, and the wind goes right through all defenses. Due to the tempermental nature of wind the blow only maintains enough force to be dangerous with ten feet though. Points: 1 Hurricane (Shippuu) Type: Ninjutsu (Suna) Rank: Gennin Cost: 20 Damage: 10 Effect: This ability leaves an opponent staggered for their next post, reducing Ninjutsu, Taijutsu and Speed by 20 when trying to hit with any ranged attacks or jutsus. Description: A flurry of wind surrounds the target, spinning them wildly and lifting them a bit off the ground before slamming them back down. It does little damage, but leaves their perception highly skewered and makes ranged attack difficult. Points: 1 Name: Hyouton Tsubame Fubuki [snow Storm Swallows] Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: 60 Damage: 30 Effects: N/A Description: The user will create ice swallows which can be launched at the opponent. As they fly through the air, these deadly birds can hone in on their target. Points: 2 Name: Hyouton Hyourou no Jutsu [ice Prison] Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Gennin Cost: 80 (60 Upkeep Per Turn) Damage: N/A Effects: If successful the target is trapped within an Ice Prison. While they are trapped inside they may not be targeted by anyone, and may not perform any actions themselves with the exception to break free. To break free the target must, in the response phase, roll a d100; if the result is 61 or higher then they break free. Target may be trapped for a maximum of three turns. Does not effect those who are a Ninja rank higher than the user. Description: This is a Ninjutsu technique that reflects the ice element. After forming the needed handseals, the user will touch the ground, causing columns of ice to rise up at the foe. If caught, the ice will rise up around the target and imprison them. This can also be used as a defensive measure, raising the ice to form a shield against incoming attacks. Points: 4 Name: Hyouton Haryuu Mouko [Destruction Fierce Tiger] Type: Ninjutsu Rank: Chunnin Cost: 100 Damage: 75 Effects: N/A Description: This is a Ninjutsu utilizing the Ice Element. After forming the needed hand seals, an ice tiger will rise from the surrounding ice to strike out against its target. Its cold nature can freeze any nearby water, and its large mass can cause a large amount of damage when it impacts. Points: 3 Spin Cycle (Jiten Shuuha) Type: Ninjutsu (Water) Rank: Gennin Cost: 40 Damage: 25 Effect:: A successful strike reduces defense by 20 for the next two posts. Description: A small whirlpool of water is created under the target and stabs up with great force, causing damage and disorientation. Nappers Posted July 26, 2006 Posted July 26, 2006 It is advised that you make your stats multiples of 20 as you only gain modifier rewards for every 20 points in a stat. Background is a little brief to me as a whole; would be nice to keep up with current affairs in your character history. Read up on the News and Shinobi Times topics made courtesy of Marie to integrate any of whats happening in the NA World into your background.

Nappers Posted July 28, 2006 Posted July 28, 2006 Today Akuba has gained his Gennin rank and is now working hard with his friends to train and become a great ninja, although the Cloud's attack seems to have made people be untrusted, they could be spies for Cloud even though that is pretty unlikely. Akuba know wonders if he should side with Cloud or to stay true to Konoha, only time will tell.... There has been no ninja training unless you are a member of the Kumo forces, else you would have been killed- thats just for the record. Your reference to the invasion should be focalised on how you survived, how you slipped into being a civilian or what you did in hiding up until this point. State at the bottom of your sheet clearly whether you are choosing to be a part of the resistance or the kumo forces. Other than that, its good to go. (this is not a provisional approval)
