ChoongSung Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 (edited) ((Setting is basically the streets of Japan and of course, there are the shopping districts, food stores, and gaming places also)) -Connected with the high School thread- As school came to a close, many high school students began to pair up into their own little cliques as they either went home, or headed towards the shopping districts near their school grounds. They were relieved to be out because afterschool was a time for club activities and spare time the students rarely got. Walking along with a transfer student named Samina, Tei led her down the street wondering where he should take her for the time being. "Okay then, well I just want to ask one more more thing though" Tei stated, "What kind of things do you like to do because I don't really want to take you to go do something that you might not like. If I'm prying, I apologize" Edited August 7, 2006 by ChoongSung Quote
Guest Ayane Posted August 7, 2006 Posted August 7, 2006 "the things that I do are shop, go to movies, listen to music, do playes, and dance. What about you? Youre the one showimg me around so I want you to have fun as well! Quote
ChoongSung Posted August 7, 2006 Author Posted August 7, 2006 "Awesome, well I like to some of those things as well. So then would you like to go down the shopping district area and take a look at some of the things they might sell over there?" Tei asked. "Its a popular high schooler gathering place so there should be something that both of us may be able to enjoy" Quote
ChoongSung Posted August 8, 2006 Author Posted August 8, 2006 As the two walked down the bustling streets of the shopping district, Tei noticed that a lot of new shops had opened as well. Noticing a familiar pastry shop, the young man wondered if Samina would like anything to snack on before they continued on their little trip in the city. "You know, if you're hungry or anything, I could get you something from that little shop over there" Tei said as he pointed to a little pastry shop not too far off. "I've been there a couple times and their bread and cakes are pretty good" ((Sorry got a little caught up on something ><)) Quote
Guest Ayane Posted August 8, 2006 Posted August 8, 2006 Samina smiles, "okay!" And samina and tei go into the shop Quote
ChoongSung Posted August 9, 2006 Author Posted August 9, 2006 As the two entered the the small store, the entire place in fact, happened to be roomier than they expected. Over to the right were all kinds of bread you would find in most stores selling bread as well as some of their own original recipes created by the pastry chefs. To there left were different kinds of cakes, from strawberry and chocolate shortcakes, all the way to large birthday party cakes as well. "This place was made after a drama series popular overseas. I'm not sure how well that mini series does over here but their store seems to be full almost all the time. They usually bake their breads early in the morning for people who haven't eaten breakfast, then later in the afternoon for students who want to grab a little something to eat." Tei said as he proceeded to take a look at what was for sale. "Whatever you may like, they probably have it here also because the chefs here aren't only japanese. They're pretty multi-cultural. Oh, and I'll buy it for you, just tell me what you want" Quote
Guest Ayane Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 When Tei offored her the food, Samina smiles, "Its not that I like bread, its just that you see we have to keep our figure back at Europe. Bread has alot of grains and calories.....sorry but no...." Samina smiles, putting her hair behind her ear making a cute pose. "I'm confused, well what do you do for, may I ask, fun?" Samina questionably askes while waiting for an answer. Quote
ChoongSung Posted August 9, 2006 Author Posted August 9, 2006 "Haha, I see" mused Tei as they both walked out of the store. "Well, for fun, I tend to hang out with some of my friends in these areas. Sometimes we go do karaoke, to the arcade, walk around shopping malls, occasionally DDR or PUMP, oh and we like to dance to random music as well. When I'm alone, I tend to write stories, poems, and take long walks for fun in the local park if the weather is nice enough." Quote
Guest Ayane Posted August 9, 2006 Posted August 9, 2006 "well, I would like to hear some of your poems! I'm poetic myself!" Samina then hugges him and looks at his face. "would you?" Quote
ChoongSung Posted August 10, 2006 Author Posted August 10, 2006 When Samina hugged him, the young man felt himself become slightly warm as he thought of a way to answer her question. He wasn't used to telling people poems, but if it was another writer like himself, then he might as well give it a shot since he needed atleast some criticism. "Well sure, why not.. Even as good friends promise to never Ever leave each other no matter what They will forget, and part on their own ways But one day, one of them will remember The laughter, tears, hardships, and hopelessness That they, as close friends, went through together The good days of the past will resurface, Not in reality, but in the mind Which is just as pleasant as it would be If it were to be real once more... If they could just spend one more day with that person, if only it could be real once more... Isn't that what most of us want right now, Just one more chance to speak with that person That we loved, cherished and kept close to heart… I don't know what others may think about it, but it's my favorite one" Quote
ChoongSung Posted August 11, 2006 Author Posted August 11, 2006 "Thank you" said Tei as he tried his best not to look to pleased with himself. "Sometimes, I find that writing things late at night turn out to be better than things I write when wide awake. Can you share any of your poems as well?" he asked Quote
Guest Ayane Posted August 11, 2006 Posted August 11, 2006 "well, my poems are......complicated.....no one understood my poems....... you can try if you want though" Samina clears her throuat and whispers, "The lake, half hidden by the trees Is like my love for you. Although we know it's there It's almost hidden from our view. The many shades of leaves Are like the way I sometimes feel - My moods in love are varied, As colours are - dramatic - As leaves are, very real. The waters of the lake are deep, And dark, and almost still - Like that, I cannot speak of our love, Not now, not yet, until . . . Some brighter time will clear the way, The waters will run bright, Clear and sparkling for all to see - No more as dark as night, and then one day I'll talk about our love, When freedom comes, and peace, When I can hold you, unafraid - And life seems not to cease. Until then, perhaps the way ahead Seems sad. But life is not a carousel, And often things seem bad. Our love can wait, the hope is there, And soon things will be fine, One thing I ask - I ask it now, Please let us have our time." I hope its not, to bad...... Quote
Mr. Kitty Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 "X marks the spot..." Arianna mumbled to herself. Her eyes peer through a small looking glass targeting the girl standing next to the young boy. In her hands, she held steady a D3/AU1. A deadly weapon, but appropriate for the job. "WATCH IT, TEI,” she yelled and with a quick pull of the finger, she fired the shot. With a crooked smile on her face, she giggled, "Boom, headshot.” Tei jumped out of the way as soon as he heard the warning. He didn't want to get his new shirt bloody too soon. Right in front of him, he watched the bullet penetrate the skull and shatter into the brain. Grinning, he looked up to the window as Arianna was cleaning up and putting away her rifle. She disappeared from the window and appeared shortly at the bottom of the steps of the building. "Oh god,” she complained. "That was the worst poem you ever came up with.” Tei shrugged, "Whatever gets the job done. Nice, clean shot, by the way.” "That's what I do,” said Arianna with her head cocked putting on a conceited smile. "You're an ass…” "I know.” Quote
ChoongSung Posted September 20, 2006 Author Posted September 20, 2006 (edited) "But you know... I kinda liked that poem. You don't seem to like it very much" Tei said as people gathered around the lifeless figure on the floor to see what had happened. All most people heard was the crack of a gunshot piercing the air. Grabbing his friend by the arm, Tei led her down the stairs into the back entrance of the building. "Well you better get going. You don't want to get caught" Edited September 20, 2006 by ChoongSung Quote
