The Altur R'angh Inn

Shodaan sat back and looked at the building he had just finished refurbishing, and smiled, the old barn now had a fresh coat of paint, and was a dull brown. The doors, which had once hung loose on broken hinges, had been reset to their proper positions. The work on the outside was nothing compared to the inside. Where once there had been straw and miscellanous farm equipment, now stood a polished oak bar, and behind that a small kitchen stood.

The once bare floor had been covered up with a lush green carpet, and where there had been stalls for horses, there were small booths with red leather seats and polished redwood tables.

As one entered, the stairs become something to admire, solid oak boards, leading up to the rooms, with an ebony banister, set an elegant demeanor to the room. The carpet was similar in texture to the one on the bottom floor, but was a deep maroon color.

Rather than having a bar and stools, large overstuffed leather couches lined the walls facing a large televison screen. A small hallway to the left led into comfortable rooms, each furnished with a bed, nightstands, televisions, and bathrooms.

Shodaan had put nearly all the money he had into this place, and was happy with the effect it had on him. He reached over the left and flipped a switch, and a small sign flickered on.

"Welcome to the Altur R'Angh Inn”

Shodaan walked in, sat down on the opposite side of the bar and waited for his first customer.

As Sonya opened the door she realized taht she was the second customer, or the first. Sonya quietly stepped onto each tile, as each tile leaded to the manager of the inn. When she Took her last step she realized she became face to face with the Manager. Sonya smiled, her legs kind of bent as she walked, meaning she was scared. "Hi....m...my name is Od......I mean Ichya, Sonya..." sonyas smiles, her Kimono shimmering in the light as she takes her seat.

Shodaan saw his first customer walking in, and smiled. Now was his chance to see if all the work he had put into this inn would pay off. He sighed to himself, mostly to reassure himself of his abilities and put his nervousness aside.

Hi, welcome to the Altur R'angh, what can i get for you?

Shodaan said with a disarming smile, one that spoke of calm assurance.

Sonya smiled at the founder. She then puts a strand of her hair behind her ear. "well, I was wondsering how your buisness works, you see, I'm a student for buisness so yeah. I hope my charms and good looks help to! I am also very smart to! Waht do you think of me right now huh?" Sonya smiles, she then twirls her finger in her silky hair, waiting for an answer. As she waited she dropped her suitcase accidently. "oh shoot!" Sonya says as she has trouble picking up the suitcase due to its heavyness

Shodaan laughed, and he bent down and picked up her suitcase with what could be considered astonishing ease, and hands it back.

He runs a hand through his crimson hair and takes a deep breath.

What was with this girl, she talked a mile a minute and seemed to be full of questions. he thought to himself.

To answer your first question; Well, this is an inn. its different than a hotel or motel in that rooms can be rented for long periods of time, and the building itself differes in that there are only two levels. On the first floor, people come in to get something to eat, drink, or just for the company of others. Here is where they will request rooms, and pay for them. the second level houses the VIP room, for those that wish an extravagant stay, and the rooms that can be rented.

Question Number two; Yes your charms and good looks are extremely helpful to any who would like to enter into this buisiness because people have an easier time relating to someone who does not look like an experianced killer.

Question Three; I think you are an attractive, if somewhat bubbly girl, and i think you would do well in any type of business that demands a charming personality like yours.

Just as a question, are you looking for employment, or one of this establishments services?

Sonya smiled, thanking the founder wsaying, "well, this Inn seems rather comfortable, but how much money would it cost to get a room, and what do tose rooms look like?"

Okay, the price depends on the room, and so does the appearance. The first Six rooms on are for those who only wish to stay for a while and therefore are furnished rather...spartanly. they are simple cream colored rooms and have a queen sized bed and a nightstand. Their bathrooms hold a standard sized bathtub, toilet, and sink, each made of white porceline. (i cant spell that word) These rest at 25$ a night.

The following four are for long term tennants, and as such, are much nicer. Their rooms are Thickly carpeted with a lush, light green carpet, and have large windows on the eastern side of the building. The beds are King sized, and sport down filled quilts and pillows filled with a space age foam material designed to meld to the shape of your head ensuring a very comfortable nights sleep. In each of these a 32 inch televisoin resides. These all have basic cable packages, and have a pay-per-veiw system.

The bathrooms are painted an earthy red, with marble sinks, counter tops, toilets, and tub. The tub is approx 2 feet deep and is chrome finished. also, the floors can be heated with the dial on the wall. These rooms stand around 50$ a night.

The last two rooms are the VIP rooms, each with a maroon colored carpet about an inch thick. The Bed is a king sized bed with variable firmness, and is covered with silk sheets, and cotton blankets, the pillows are similar to those in the previous four rooms. The bathroom plays host to obsidian countertops, gold leafed faucets and handles, and a three foot deep jacuzzi style bathtub. Along the right side of the bathroom is a sauna and spa. These rooms also feature heated floors. There are two televisions, one in the sleeping area, and another in the living sections. these are 62 inch flat screen televisions, and have an advanced satalite package. The walls in the room are sound proofed, so you will not be disturbed during your stay. This, being the best room in the house will run 100$ a night.

Shodaan looked to see if his long speech had bored the girl to death, and mentally chastized himself for getting so excited in describing the inn. he was proud of his work and was more than eager to show it off.

"I've payed more money for other inns, yours is pretty good, but, you only have 12 rooms, and they cost low prices, there will be to many people that go. Expand the hotel more....almost, like an empire.... also I think you need a presidental suite because basically ANYONE could stay in your VIPS because its so low for price. Make the price higher, expand the hotel to different places, make a presidental suite and get recreational cervice. I mean what kind of stuff will they do around here? Sure they can go and travel around the city and come back here but what if they dont want to travel? the yneed pools, work out rooms, training facilities, saunas, hot tubs, and they will need a card for VIP rooms to go in the VIP recreational center, meaining they will need teh best of the best type of receational trainers, and activites, and equiqment." As the founder leads her to the living room she asks him. "what will they get to have to do in they're rooms?"

Shodaan smiled, This girl was among the smartest he had ever seen and she seemed to have an excelent buisness mind. In fact, he said just that to her.

You have an excellent point, and i believe that there are quite a few things that i need to work out. In the back of the inn, i have a few target dummies set up, and a couple of small buildings where gen tanks can practice without making the rest of us go crazy. To the left of these buildings a pool is being constructed, its a large olympic sized pool with a maximum depth of 15 feet. there are high dive foundations being poured tomorrow, and a concrete floor battle arena for those who have a need to battle living opponents, as of yet i could not find anyone who's be willing to fight in this arena, but im still looking.

Inside the rooms there is little more to do than sleep, eat, bathe, and watch TV. im trying to convince people to be outside, and get active while they stay here.

As far as prices go, what do you suggest i do, im not all that great assigning prices to things. ive already drawn up expansion plans, and if you would, id like to show them to you at a later time.

i never realized that there was so much to do in this business.

"if you didnt forget, this is an inn, not a ninja academy *giggles* there will be little babies that parents wont leave in teh hotel room if they want to practice they're throwing, babies will get hurt, or even killed. Thats not a good Idea, and thanks for the compliment. DONT MAKE A NERSURY. My parents always took care of me when I was young so thats why. I dotn trust them, they dont do a good job." She says as she quickly cracks her knuckles. Sonya then follows him to the bathroom. "well, the bathrooms are nice, but they need a massage service......"

Well, i have yet to find a massuess, so if you know of any, please tell me i agree.

I had no intention of making a nursery, so dont worry. However, i lack the foresight of most, and did not think of an area for children.

The battle arena is more for the entertainment of our guests, seeing as they are to be fought by volunteers only, and the stands are covered in a pane of half inch glass, with a chakra inlay to prevent injury to the crowd.

Shodaan pauses and consideres what hes about to ask

Would you mind entering into a partnership with me on this, so far, you have pointed out the flaws that i didnt even think about and i think you would be invaluable to this establishment. well split everything 50-50?

Kenji entered the unfamiliar building to be greeted with a beautiful surrounding. He was overwhelmed with the light inside, and resorted to activating the fog in his eyes to prevent from collapse. What a nice place Shodaan's got here...... Kenji pulled off his guitar from his back and played a single note, sensing any vibrations. He sensed two people directly in front of him, and a larger vibration that Kenji thought of to be luggage. Kenji deactivated his bloodline for a second to find Shodaan standing right in front of him, and Kenji staggered back, nearly tripping over a carpet. Hey, Shodaan. Nice inn you've got. Kenji stood up again, using his guitar as a stand. Listen, I'm a bit short on rent, and I was wondering, how'd you like to hire some live entertainment? Kenji pulled his guitar onto him and pulled out his pick. You might just get some more customers, he said, cocking his head to the other person inside. He chuckled. Guess what? I was only half joking.

Shodaan smiled, and nodded to Sonya, very well then, i will see you when all of the flaws in this have been taken care of.

Turning to Kenji shodaan gave an amused grin Yeah, i could probably use some live music, and as i remember, you play some of the greatest around. And dont worry about the rent, you may stay as long as your willing to play here on weeknights. Agreeable? Just mind the carpets, they can be a real doozy.

To put it honestly, shodaan was glad for the company, he hadn't seen kenji in forever, and thought it would be nice to catch up with the guitar playing Gen Tank. And Kenji's comment hadn't been off the mark, a little live music would bring in many customers.

The woman opened the main door of this brand new Inn and stepped in. Taking a look around, she noticed that this new Inn was well built. The woman was a bit suprised to see only three figures standing some feet away from her were only the occupant of the Inn. She had hoped maybe, that by the looks of the Inn, it would have been attracting many costumers quickly. But, it seems that this Inn barely oppened. The woman, then took her place near the entrace, not wanting to go near the small group of figures, for she, like some others, is shy. She merely sighed and continued to look around her surroundings, admiring each and every aspect of the Inn.

The relief was evident in shodaans eyes as he looked over toward sonya, Giving her a heartfelt thanks, he then looked over toward Kenji.

That would be great, it gives me just enough time to make up a sign and get the sound systems worked on.

Oh, im sorry shodaan said, spying the young woman at the door, Welcom to the Altur R'Angh, can i help you with something?

The woman glanced back over to the man, then simply shook her head.

"Um..no I don't need anything..Just taking a look around."

The woman, now halfway across the room, lifted her palm, yawning into it as she did so.

Shodaan strode over to the bar and took up his place behind it. Then, grabbing a crimson mixture he'd made earlier, he began to fill a glass with the thick liquid.

He then pulled up a square bottle, filled with a clear fluid and began to pour it into a glass.

Anyone care for a Bloody Mary? he asked as he mixed his drink.

Shodaan chuckled, raching back into his pockets where he held the deck of cards he used for his doteki jutsu.

Shodaan slid the glass down to the woman sending a remark with the glass Yeah, i know, and with a little bit of luck, ill have myself a real great business here.

"I really think you shouldnt drink those, they're very alcholic. I think you should stop drinking it." Sonya smiles, walking towards him, wiping some dust on her miniskirt. Sonya smiles again, takign the drink from his hand and placing it on the counter.

Shodaans surprise could not have been more evident than if he were hit in the head with a flying panda.

Why, i mean, i know their alcholic, but whats the harm in a drink or two. Besides, i make the best Bloody Marys to be had this side of the oceans.

picking up his glass again he poured it into a larger glass and dilutted the mixture with more of the orange drink.

"I'm afraid I have to give you a bad remark. You see, I decide if inns are good enough to stay, and I odnt like that if I talk to a drunk guy who HAPPENS to be the founder of the inn. Sorry, but I think I have to close this inn down." Withought another word Sonya takes a piece of paper, writing down a remark."
