Cho Hakkai Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 As Cho Hakkai practiced Chi-gong (his martial arts style) he was staring at the moonlight that was glimering more than a diamond reflected off the sun. Hakkai stopped practicing and kept staring at the moon. No matter how hard he so desperately tried, he just couldn't get his eyes off it. It looked like the moon that was out when his parents died and as well when his girlfriend killed her self with his own sword. Hakkai mad a sad faced and started to practice yet again. "I dislike these sort of nights," he say in a normal tone. Quote
Guest Kanjii Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 [[ Mind if I join in? n_n; ]] Sighing, Kanjii made her way along, unhappy with the fact that she couldn't find any birds to watch, let alone any crows. It didn't seem to be a birds' night tonight. She looked up at the moon and vaguely realized that it was a beautiful one. It's a nice night, too, she mentally added, though she really didn't care. Yawning, Kanjii considered curling up a tree and falling asleep when she spotted something...someone?...some ways off. Curious - though not very, it was hard for her to put forth the effort to be curious about anything - she dragged her feet along towards the person to get a closer look. Quote
Cho Hakkai Posted March 20, 2005 Author Posted March 20, 2005 As he stared at the moon, remembering the bad times he suffered, he relized someone was approching. He looked in the direction that the person was coming. "Hello," he said to the shadow. Quote
Guest Kanjii Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 Taking a few more steps, Kanjii stopped when she was able to get a good look at the other. She had been watching him practice and somehow found herself defying her abnormal laziness enough to be impressed. Well, slightly, anyway. She still hadn't overcome her lethargy to become amazingly impressed. "Ah...hello," she said, nodding politely. She looked up at the moon again. It really was mesmerizing. Awkwardly, she asked, "Beautiful night, no?" Quote
Cho Hakkai Posted March 20, 2005 Author Posted March 20, 2005 Looks at the moon and then looks away in a sad tone. Yes... he said and then paused Quote
Guest Kanjii Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 "Hm?" She blinked drowsily and looked over at the other. "Is something the matter?" she asked, though she wasn't using enough effort to really, really be interested - she was, once again, slightly curious though. Then, realizing that they didn't even know each others' names, she quickly added, "I'm Jurak Kanjii, if you wanted to know." Quote
Cho Hakkai Posted March 20, 2005 Author Posted March 20, 2005 "My name is Cho Hakkai but my friends call me Hakkai. It is a pleasure to meet you," he said as he forced himself not to look at the moon. He noticed the amulet she had on, "OH your from Oto as well?" Quote
Guest Kanjii Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 "Ah..." She absent-mindedly fingered her amulet and said, "Yes, I'm also from Oto. It's nice to meet you too." Once more, she nodded politely. Feeling slightly awkward in the silence, she asked, "So, you practice here a lot?" She herself didn't, though many times she had mentally said she would. Still, she just couldn't find the motivation. Quote
Cho Hakkai Posted March 20, 2005 Author Posted March 20, 2005 Yes i do practice here alot he said as he stared to tear a bit. He then stopped and rubbed his tears away. Besides his team members, he really doesn't talk to people. He then smiled an irresistalble smile and calmed down. Quote
Guest Kanjii Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 Kanjii couldn't help but notice that the other had been on the verge of tears, but had quickly fought them back. That only intrigued her even more, which was surprising, as very few things aside from eating, sleeping, and bird-watching ever interested her, but she could see that the other probably didn't want to talk about his past so she left it at that. "I wish I could practice a lot," she said, sounding a bit wistful. "I never can find some sort of reason or motivation to get me out and practicing though." Quote
Cho Hakkai Posted March 20, 2005 Author Posted March 20, 2005 Well i practice because I live alone and have no family so i am free most of the time he said with a glowing smile Quote
Guest Kanjii Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 Blinking, Kanjii asked, "Really?" She thought of her own family, but she could only show affection towards her 'father', as her brother was never around and her mother was dead. "Oh..." Once again, she felt awkward. Death was not exactly one of her favorite topics. Quote
Cho Hakkai Posted March 20, 2005 Author Posted March 20, 2005 I apoligize. I put you in a position that made you uncomfortable. PLease forgive me he said as he still continused to smile. Quote
Guest Kanjii Posted March 20, 2005 Posted March 20, 2005 Blinking, Kanjii wondered how perceptive Hakkai actually was, to see that she was feeling rather awkward. Shrugging, she yawned and said, "Well, I'm getting tired, so I guess I'll go. I hope we meet again. It's been nice talking to you." For the third time, she nodded at him, then disappeared to find some place to sleep. [[ Yeah, sorry, I have to go. x_x; ]] Quote
Cho Hakkai Posted March 20, 2005 Author Posted March 20, 2005 (edited) good night. Have sweet dreams he said as he waved and smiled... yet again. he sat down and started think. Edited March 22, 2005 by Cho Hakkai Quote
Cho Hakkai Posted April 3, 2005 Author Posted April 3, 2005 (sry for double posting but no one posted for a while) on the next night, Hakkai returned to the same site to just look at the nature around him and enjoyed it. He smiled and saw a squirell which she started to chase Quote
Guest Kanjii Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 [[ Guess I'll join in again xD;; ]] "Squirrel chasing...?" Kanjii murmured as she dragged her feet over. She yawned. Okay, so she'd slept almost twelve hours on end, but that still made her drowsy. It wasn't as if there'd been anything else to do. Quote
Cho Hakkai Posted April 3, 2005 Author Posted April 3, 2005 He stopped chasing the squirell when he notied his friend come. The Squirel ran away Why hello again he said with a smile Quote
Guest Kanjii Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 "Hi," she said absently, watching the squirrel disappear. "It got away," she pointed out, apparently oblivious to the fact that he probably knew. Quote
Cho Hakkai Posted April 3, 2005 Author Posted April 3, 2005 its ok. Ill get him next time. How are you? Quote
Guest Kanjii Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 "Me? I'm fine. Got some more sleep, but still tired." She stretched her arms out in front of her, feeling un-lazy enough to be slightly talkative. "What about you?" Quote
Cho Hakkai Posted April 3, 2005 Author Posted April 3, 2005 I am great. I didn't much though. So may i ask why are you here? Quote
Guest Kanjii Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 "Oh...well, I don't have anything else to do, really, so I thought I'd come around and see if you were here." She shrugged. "See, I don't really talk to anyone else..." Mostly it was because of the fact that some rather idiotic people thought the disease that ran in her family could be contagious and they'd managed to be so paranoid about it that others kept away from her family. Either that, or it was simply because her family looked rather creepy, more like skeletons than people, but still, she didn't care much. Quote
Cho Hakkai Posted April 3, 2005 Author Posted April 3, 2005 (edited) Well you are always welcomed here he said with a warm smile. (OOC: anyone can join if they want.)) Edited April 3, 2005 by Cho Hakkai Quote
Guest Kanjii Posted April 3, 2005 Posted April 3, 2005 "That's good to know," Kanjii said, cracking a quick smile in return. "So..." She felt oddly energetic today. "Wanna go find the squirrel?" Quote
