Rilon Posted May 3, 2008 Posted May 3, 2008 (edited) Skill Name: Child Illness Bloodline: No. Requires creator's (Rilon) permission and extensive explanation in the character's background (Sasuke touched a bird and got avian flu. Doesn't cut it.) Description: Some children, through either misfortune or poor maintenance develope life threatening diseases that torment their young bodies and carry symptoms that persist throughout the individual's life. Usually these people require more rest than the average Joe and tend to contract other diseases more easily. Effect: A character with this skill may never have more than 10X stamina and 10X taijutsu where X is equal to the characters level. (Level 0 characters are considered level 1 for this purpose.) Poison effects last twice as long on a character with skill. In addition, whenever a character with this skill takes main phase action on subsequent turns they have a 5% chance to become "Tired" until they sacrifice a main phase to rest, this effect and its probability stacks and is not effected by the maximum turn limit for the "Tired" status effect. The chance to become tired can be zeroed by having a sennin+ medical jutsu used on the target by a ninja other than themselves or by skipping a main phase to rest. All techniques that cause the "Tired" status stack with the above values, "Tired" status inflicted by these techniques also has double its regular duration. This skill may only be erased from a sheet if the possessor undergoes a twenty five post training to learn a skill, thats only purpose is to remove this skill, from a sennin rank medical shinobi. Cost: +3 Edited May 6, 2008 by Rilon
cntrstrk14 Posted May 5, 2008 Posted May 5, 2008 For the 5% chance, are you tired until you take a main phase to rest or just for that one turn? Because it doesn't seem to make sense to me if they are tired for one turn and not the next if they don't stop to rest.
Rilon Posted May 6, 2008 Author Posted May 6, 2008 (edited) They would be tired until the took a main phase to rest. Also it should be noted that the 5% is cumulative so. Ninja A takes a turn Ninja B takes a turn Ninja A (5% chance to be tired) Ninja B takes a turn Ninja A (10% chance to be tired) etc... At least until they voluntarily rest for a turn to zero the chance they will become tired. Edited May 6, 2008 by Rilon
