From the top Zereon’s wearing; A pair of goggles around his neck. On the upper body he’s wearing a tight white t-shirt with torn off sleeves. On top everything he's wearing a green Chuunin vest. On the lower body Zereon’s wearing white baggy pants, with orange tribals on, down just to below his knees, the rest of both his legs is wrapped with bandages down to his feet were he’s wearing a normal pair of black ninja sandals.

-Physical Description: There’s really nothing special about Zereon’s build. He’s an average guy. He's caucasian but very tanned. The holes from the Fire Amplifier implant can been seen clearly in his palms. Zereon has half long white hair with a very long fringe parted to his right. On the same arm as he has the Yobayashi clan scarf tied he has the Yobayashi clan emblem tattooed.

Prologue - The stupidity of youth


In every village there’s a well-know family. The kind of family that everyone seems to know everything about and also has this kind of strange family power that makes them superior as ninjas. Then there’s the Furukawa family, the kind of family that no one really knows anything about and that has never really done anything special throughout the history. Furukawa is only known to family friends for the specific time. Not even the Furukawas themselves know much about their own history and not a single one of them does anything to change it some even say it’s their destiny, all but one.

There’s one family member that wants to change all that and make a name of himself and give pride to the name Furukawa, that person is Zereon.

Zereon is the second youngest in the Furukawa family with his sister being the youngest with one year behind. Both the parents are ex-ninjas not doing any missions or other duties anymore. They both have normal jobs in different areas of village, mom being waitress and father being a chef at the same restaurant.

Having this goal of being known and giving pride to his family name Zereon trains a lot and tries to find new special ways to become something above the ordinary. But this wasn’t the only thing. Since Zereon wasn’t happy about his family not being commonly known he also made some family research. While doing this he found out things about very old relatives; somewhere around 200 years ago there was a Furukawa ancestor that strived for the very same thing as Zereon. Doing so this man created an item that worked as a fire amplifier. This item was implanted into the user’s forearms or lower legs and made the user able to amplify fire techniques and create small fireballs at will. Deep down in the archives where Zereon found this information he also found sketches and other information on how to build this item.

However this ancestor failed with the task since he died of an unknown disease at an early age, and this disease was probably the only thing that stopped the man’s strive to become known. This gave Zereon hope and he started saving money for a long time and then contacted different people in Konoha that were capable of performing this implant and creating the amplifier and got it implanted into his own forearms without letting any of his family members know about it. This was the first step towards his goal.

Zereon kept the implants a secret for as long as he was getting use to them and also during his academy years. But when he graduated from the academy and officially became a ninja, the first attack started on Konoha. Thinking that the new system wasn’t a good way for Zereon to get noticed as a ninja he left his family and joined the resistance waiting for his time to shine as he still hid his implants with wraps of bandage around his arms and palms. Zereon wanted to be known more than anyone else in his family but he wasn’t stupid and ran around doing crazy things just to get some attention instead he waited and trained himself until he thought that he could expose his new ability. He was so determent in fact that he once got attacked by a bunch of his old academy classmates in an alley, they’d heard rumors of him being in the resistance but no one of them had any evidence so they tried to get it out from him. Zereon didn’t do anything to defend himself against them; he just took the hits that were thrown at him. As this aggravated them even more they preformed a seal on him that somewhat sealed his genjutsu powers. Zereon only laughed saying that he had no need for it anyway since he wasn’t a ninja any longer but inside he was greatly damaged by since this was a major setback in his plan to get known. The old classmates finally left as a few resistance ninjas showed up and scared them off. They now had the evidence they wanted and Zereon was no longer safe in Konoha.

The elders of the Furukawa family however joined up with NCIA since they didn’t think there was anything they could do about it anyway and as “true” Furukawas they just went with the flow, all but two including Zereon. His sisters one year younger than Zereon himself and looks up like him like a little fan girl as is the only family member that knows about his implants. She’s also a little upset about him not using it as seeing that he’s waiting for “His time to shine” all the time. Even though Zereon loved his father and mother and cared for them, he couldn't stand seeing them join this new organization.

Knowing how Oto's resistance group had been completely wiped Zereon didn't feel safe in Konoha as a newly exposed member of the resistance force. So Zereon have been requested to travel to Kiri and accepted this. The Konoha resistance maybe strong but as a fairly untrained ninja as himself, Zereon would be more safe in a village controlled by equal minded. The hope of a free Konoha is strong within Zereon and stronger since the word of a free Kusa had reached Konoha. But knowing that recent attacks have been a failure, he felt that there was no other option but to leave Konoha. However he still doesn't know if he will do it alone or with someone else all he knows is that has to make his way to Kiri as fast as possible for his own safety.

Chapter 1 – The hermit


The travel to Kiri had been a failure. Instead Zereon was spending his time hidden not far from Konoha; deep in the forest that surrounds the village. Here he trained and lived in almost solitary for a long time, almost three whole years. It was now he developed his animal characteristics since he had to live like one. He became a predator among the wild animals and feed on them, of course after preparing it first. It was not often he returned to the village and if he did it was never alone. During his time in the forest he was always in contact with the resistance and they often offered for him a place to stay. One by one he refused the offers since he fought that living in the forest would do better for his training as well not living by the chance to run into his parents.

The only one he had contact with from the family was his sister whom he saw a few times a month. His sister was also part of the resistance but had made the choice to stay with the parents and keep her true feelings a secret. But he had one friend however named Yobayashi Hiro. A boy he met the after the first month in the forest. This boy had no dream after a number of events they became friends and decided to search for Hiro's dream until one day two years after they've met Hiro had found it but at the same time they were confronted by the Yobayashi council and Zreon found out for the first time that Hiro was The Moriko and leader of the Yobayashi clan.

Chapter 2 – The Journey Back


After almost three whole years of living almost alone, with the exception of Hiro, Zereon was approached by other resistance members who also were in hiding and all looking for training. The three of them spent the last months together in the forest and returned as they hit the three year mark. However her they lost track of each other and were not to see each other again. However Zereon was not alone for long as he met Rakirian, a member of the Sukaikon clan, on the way back only to hear an explosion from the village as soon as they’d greeted each other.

Chapter 3 – The Final Stand


In a great hurry they’d both return to the village only to find themselves in the middle of what was to become the final major battle against NCIA in Konoha. Here they were first tested if they really were the true flame of Konoha before heading straight into the action through hidden tunnels under the Hokage Tower. Here with the help of three Jounins the young ninjas fought of the NCIA and came out victorious, however both Rakirian and Zereon were to be hospitalized.

At the hospital they were under the supervision of a young girl named Watanabe Sayuri and the three of them together were the start of a very long friendship.

Chapter 4 - Five years that passed so quickly


After the Konoha Rebellion had defeated NCIA for good the time passed by quite quickly. A few months later Zereon became Chuunin for his brave efforts while trying to protect Konoha during this struggle. Later Sayuri and Rakirian also received a promotion. From time to time the three of them teamed up while not being busy doing other personal stuff. As a result they all got stronger bonds and became best friends.

Zereon faced one big problem during this time though. Ever since his sudden transformation in the hospital he’d been struggling to keep it in control. Many people examined him and found the source to be his fire implants, which already had been showed to Zereon in a vision in the finally stand against NCIA. So during the two first years after the event had taken place Zereon went through training to control his emotions and master the new elements he’d acquired by accident. Controlling his emotion was something he’d find very difficult and by sort of an accident he discovered that smoking helped him relax, resulting him achieving a very bad habit.

From that time till now it wasn’t often you saw Zereon without a cigarette in his mouth even though he started hate the fact that he was smoking as time progressed. Many often commented on the fact that he was smoking and some even gave him nicknames. His friends weren’t very keen on it either.

And so the third year came and Zereon was getting a lot stronger and versatile. He’d established many relationships with ninjas from all over the country and some even outside borders. Many Jounins had trained him by now but none of them stayed for long. Since he was a chuunin he received many duties every now and then teaching academy students. Something he found fun but unfortunately the other teachers didn’t like him smoking around the student and so he constantly had to inform them that smoking was bad.

On the fourth year there wasn’t much that had changed. Life went on as the say. Konoha was by now almost back to normal and everyone was doing missions as normal. Zereon had felt his mutation acting stranger and stranger, trying to push him further during, this year but nothing ever happened.

The fifth year things were looking up and Zereon could feel his next promotion getting closer as he grew stronger. And as the fifth year passed Zereon was certain to soon achieve the rank of Jounin he’d just need to work a little harder on his performance and attitude. Also his mutation was pushing him harder than ever and as a result he tend to avoid getting angry and pumped up as often as he could. But he couldn’t keep it up forever…

Lotus Style -1

Effect: Lotus Charges may be spent in one of the two following ways.

1. The user may at any time spend a Lotus Charge to reduce the cost of a Lotus style technique by 5x% and raise its base damage by 10x% rounded down, with x being equal to the amount of charges spent. However, the user will also take 5x% of the base damage of the technique as a repercussion.

2. The user may perform a technique that requires the use of Lotus Charges.

Description: Many of the Lotus Style taijutsu techniques take advantage of the extreme power and speed the user gains from opening the chakra gates, most notably the Lotus (蓮華 Renge?) techniques, many of which begin with a flurry of attacks to force the opponent into the air, followed by a blow that sends the opponent into the ground at high speeds. Hi no Kuni has been the traditional home of this style, its secrets guarded with the ninja elite at a level nearing that of their bloodlines. However, it has been known throughout history for those not of the village to have learned this deadly style of combat.

Requirements: Konohagakure Ninja or 5 post training session with a ninja who already knows this skill.

This dedication to their self and their village exhibits itself within the skills of the shinobi-nin over time, and a warrior grows fairly quickly in skill in regards to their peers.

Effect: Gain 1 extra Jutsu Point every other level.

Description: Through devotion to their chosen disciplines, or in many cases simple innate talent, the shinobi-nin whom might be called \'true warriors\' have grown to be masters of their art, or well on the way to being masters.

Effect: Every 5 levels gain another Jutsu Point. In addition, pick one of the below. It must align with one of the two options you chose in \'Path of the Warrior\'.

War Mastery:

Advanced Ninjutsu Warrior: A true ninjutsu Warrior is such a master of his chakra that he may take \'Chakra Barrier\' for 1 SP, and without the training requirement. May take \'Extreme Will\' for 1 skill point, and make take an additional rank of \'Extreme Will\' for every rank the shinobi-nin has (Genin being \'1\', Chuunin being \'2\', Jounin being \'3\', and Sennin being \'4\'.)

RP Guide:

-A character that follows the path of the True Warrior continues their path along that of a dedicated artist of combat. Their training exceeds that of normal individuals and their knowledge of raw power and fighting abilities is hard to rival. The warrior will still fight with raw power more so than tactics though, leaving them susceptible to more deceitful or indirect opponents.

-Chuunin. Must have Path of the Warrior.

Description: Once a battle, and only once, you may choose to have any one of your attacks become a critical hit for 1.5 times its usual damage.

Wild Beast Style

Effect: In addition to gaining Rage Counters through successful strikes with Backlash Style techniques, the user will also gain a Rage Counter every time they take damage from an opponent per turn, including ghost damage). A user may not gain more than one Rage Counter per opponent attacking them in a single turn. Additionally, Rage Counters may be spent in one of the following three ways.

1. The user may at any time spend a Rage Charge to increase the chance to hit with a Backlash Style technique by 2x% and raise its base damage by 5x% rounded down, with x being equal to the amount of charges spent. In addition, until the end of their next setup phase their speed is considered to be increased by 5x% their base speed.

2. The user may perform a technique that requires the use of Rage Charges.

3. The user may spend x Rage Charges in their setup phase, targeting a single opponent. The targeted opponent will roll 1d100 in their Response Phase. If they roll below 20x they MUST at their next possible Main Phase target the user with their action. If the target is a higher ninja rank than the user then the chance to hit is lowered to 10x instead.

Description: The Backlash Style takes the concept of self control within a battle and refocuses its energy in a new direction. This style, rumored to have been started by tribesmen who lived and died by the whim of the harsh forests and grasslands of Hara no Kuni, is based around the concept of perseverance. As a battle progresses, users of this style will build up a battle rage which can be focused in a devastating show of force and control. In addition, one of this style has been known to draw attention during the battle, making themselves impossible to ignore at their peak, allowing allies time to gather their strength.

Requirements: Kusagakure Ninja or 5 post training session with a ninja who already knows this skill.

Elemental Specialties:

Wind Specialty

Naturally aligned to the element of the wind, this character has a natural tact at using and manipulating the wind to their bidding. This chakra takes on the form of thin razor edges that flow for more piercing and damaging attacks.

User has a +15% to base damage (rounded up) with Ninjutsu attacks. Wind Jutsu cost one less JP to a minimum of 1. User receives the skill “Subtle Elements: Wind” for free and may purchase an additional rank of “Subtle Elements”. If the user already has “Subtle Elements: Wind”, they may have their points refunded. This skill may be learned before level 30, but the effects are not granted until level 30 is obtained.

Name: Bunshin no Jutsu (Clone Technique)

Description: Creates an illusionary replica of the user. It is unable to attack or interact with other objects, but can serve as a good distraction.

Effect: Adds +5x evasion and +5x accuracy for each clone. Once a clone is hit it is destroyed, and the bonuses with it. A bunshin is considered to have 0 evasion and rolls to dodge whenever it is targeted in the user's response phase. The value of x is the number of clones you have made. Maximum of 8 bunshin can be made.

Name: Henge no Jutsu (Transformation Technique)

Effects: Change your appearance. A character 25+ levels above the one who uses this technique can see through it.

Description: Wrap chakra around your body to change your appearance. You take that physical form, but only to a certain extent, such as body shape and size. You cannot, for instance, turn your arm into a bow and start firing ammunition at an opponent.

Effects: Evade the next attack aimed at you. Skip your main and setup phase this turn. You can only use this 1 time per battle. This technique cannot be used to dodge Ninjutsu, Taijutsu or Genjutsu Techniques.

Description: A lifesaver, and a must-have technique. With this technique, the user is able to swap their body with a nearby object, usually a log, which will take the full force of any incoming blows for them, while they retreat to safe ground or search for an opening.

Mythical Fire Flower (Katon Housenka)

Damage: 20 per fireball, Max 60

Effect:This skill may be used to launch multiple fireballs in one action. Each fireball beyond the first becomes progressively easier to dodge; +5% to dodge when attempting to dodge any fireball beyond the first. This skill may also be used to target multiple people. One fireball per target suffers no negative penalties, but if ever multi-targeting and striking any target with more than one fireball, that target receives a bonus of 30 to the relevant stat to dodge each fireball.

Description:The ninja draws in a large breath of fire and shoots it out in many quite fast, small fireballs. Due to the nature the fireballs deal less damage than a single attack but may be used to hammer a target or strike multiple foes.

Description:With help from his/her fire amplifier implants the user is able to create a small sphere of compressed fire between his hands that he/she then releases towards the opponent in a very high speed. On impact the compressed fire explodes causing the target to take great damage. This technique can be preformed without the implant although it's not as effective.

Earth Gods Will (Tsuchi Kame Mune)

Type: Ninjutsu (Earth)

Rank: Gennin

Damage: N/A

Effect:Dome has 100 hit points and absorbs attacks from all angles. Genjutsus can penetrate the dome. The person inside is also unable to attack the opponent at all. This jutsu can be deactivated by the user by sacrificing their attack phase. Can only be used once per battle.

Description:A massive dome of earth much like the Sphere of Sand rises and surrounds the ninja. Unlike it\'s Sand cousin this sphere will no tattack back though, but has an absurdly strong amount of defense.

Effect:Absorb 20 damage directly in front of the user. Multiple walls may be laid down for 20 nin a piece. Does not stop Genjutsu. Any damage done over the 20 will carry over and effect the user. The opponent may sidestep the wall skipping their main phase to move.

Description:Creates a wall (or walls) in front of the user which can be used to absorb attacks and jutsus that come directly from the front. The opponent may move to go around the wall though.

Shield of Sand (Suna no Tate)

Effect:

--Activated in the main phase and may be de-activated in any phase. While active the user recieves no dodge roll, though they may still use jutsu, skills or weapons to defend against the incoming attack. If deactivated during the response phase, the user does not recieve a dodge roll.

-Void-type Jutsu = 2 chakra for every 1 damage

-Fire-type Jutsu = 4 chakra for every 1 damage

-Water-type Jutsu = 3 chakra for every 1 damage

-Lightning-type Jutsu = 1 chakra for every 2 damage

-Earth-type Jutsu= 2 chakra for every 3 damage

-Wind-type Jutsu = 4 chakra for every 1 damage

-Sand-type Jutsu = 1 chakra for every 4 damage

-Other = (Amount of combinations) chakra for every 1 damage

-Weapons = 1 chakra every 2 damage

-Taijustu = 4 chakra for every 5 damage

--If the opponent's speed stat is more than or equal to 1.25x the user's Ninjutsu, then the shield is bypassed and the attack cannot be blocked.

--If the opponent's speed stat is higher than the user's Ninjutsu stat and less than 1.25x the user's ninjutsu, the user must pay 1.5x the cost to block the damage.

--Suna no Tate does not apply to Genjutsu and the user may roll to dodge against it.

Description: After the passing of the Fifth Kazekage many of the ninja within the village who looked up to him decided to try and preserve his specialty jutsu to be used by all Suna ninja. Since many of his most basic attacks and defenses relied on the Shukaku demon, they had to alter the workings of many of them. The only successful jutsu to come out of this plan was the Suna no Tate. It is a modified version of the technique that instead of running off of the abilities of the Shukaku demon instead are based upon the actual reaction time of the ninja himself. This jutsu is known through the village as the ‘Gift of the Fifth' which shows his determination to protect all the villagers even after his death.

Effect: Half Opening to Shadow Leaf Dance (Kage Buyou), +4% chance to hit with this technique.

Description: The ninja disappears in a blur of pure speed, appearing right under their target and thrusting a kick into their chin from below, launching them into the air. While weak and costly the move is very hard to avoid and makes a great opening.

Kage Bunshin No Jutsu [shadow Clone Technique] 影分身の術

Type: Ninjutsu [Void//Clone]

Effect: In terms of chakra cost calculation 'x' is equal to the number of clones created through this technique. May be used in the Main Phase or the Set-Up Phase. If used in the Set-Up Phase, the user's Main Phase is not consumed. Clones created during the user's Set-Up Phase may take part in any technique that requires the presence of physical clones during the Main Phase following their creation, but are destroyed during the Loss Phase. Shadow clones have 1 Health Point, with the rest of their statistics being equal to their creator's, divided by the number of clones created plus the creator [statistics/(x+1)] . 1 clone may be created by shinobi of Gennin rank, 4 by Chuunin, 7 by Jounin, and 14 by Sennin. This ratio is modified for ninja from Konohagakure to 2 by Gennin, 6 by Chuunin, 10 Jounin, and 18 by Sennin.

Description: Years of steady usage has made the Shadow Clone Technique a common site on many a battlefield. Despite being a work-horse technique amongst shinobi, Kage Bunshin remains a versatile maneuver in many combat situations. Through means of the technique, the user is capable of quickly creating physical doppelgangers. The applications for these clones are numerous and every shinobi who learns Kage Bunshin No Jutsu seems to devise their own style with it. The clones themselves are much more fragile than the ninja that they imitate as they can be dispatched with little effort. History lends credence to the commonly held belief that the Shadow Clone Technique originated in the Land Of Fire some time before the creation of the first hidden villages. Since it's advent though, the technique has spread greatly and now shinobi of every denomination have been seen making use of the skill. Ninja hailing from Konohagakure No Sato still seem to be the most gifted with the use of shadow clones. Some say they have developed secret differences from the basic technique that allows them greater benefit.

Body Freeze Skill (Kanashibari no Jutsu)

Type: Ninjutsu

Rank: Jounin

Effect:

- Cannot be dodged. Opponent rolls 1d100.

- If they roll higher than 50, then they are Vulnerable and Stunned for one turn.

- A single person may only be affected by this attack once every four turns.

- May only be used once a battle per enemy by Gennin, two times by Chuunin and three times by Jounin.

- If target is of two ranks or higher than the user, they are unaffected by this technique.

Description: Used to cause ones opponent to lose the advantage of movement. Freezing them in their tracks, this Jutsu creates an opening for a more dangerous attack. Most Anbu Ninjas seem to know this technique.

Effects: Target is burned for 1 turn.

Description:With help from his/her fire amplifier implants the user is able to create a large sphere of highly compressed fire between his hands. The sphere will glow with a very intense light and when release it will travel with super high speed towards the target. As the sphere hits it explodes causing the opponent to get burned and taking sever damage.

Points: 8 (Learned at Gennin level, original cost: 4)

Special: Evolving: if you have level before this one, this jutsu cost +1 point to learn.

Firefly Regime (Hotaru Ryouiki)

Type: Trap (Fire Ninjutsu)

Rank: Chuunin

Conditions: Must have x fireflies on the field from 'Hotaru'.

Cost: 4x

Damage: 5x

Effect: Sacrifice x fireflies for five damage each. This is not multi hit, maximum of 25 fireflies.

Description: Causes the fireflies summoned by Hotaru to explode in tiny fiery balls on their opponent. While only nuisances in themselves, they can deal a quite staggering amount of damage if the entire swarm blows up together.

Armor of Sand: Rank 1(Suna no Yoroi)

Type: Ninjutsu (Sand)

Rank: Chuunin

Cost: 120 Chakra; 90 Chakra to repair.

Effect: Used in the Response Phase. Creates an Armour of Sand around the user with 150 health points. May prevent damage (not effects) from any non-Genjutsu attacks aimed at the user. If the health of the armour is reduced to 0 it may be repaired in the immediate set-up phase in the turn which it was broken for 90 Chakra; else they will have to pay the full intial cost when next used. May repair the Armor to full health points for the same repairation cost of 90 in the set-up phase. User may act in the turn as normal. Armor of Sand does not stack with one another. May only be activated twice per battle.

Description: The secret armor of the wind people. This armor is weaker than the shield or sphere of sand, but comes at the use of heightened maneuverability. The user may attack while the armor is on still, and can activate it faster than one could blink if in danger.

Slashing Wind Skill (Kamaitachi no Jutsu)

Type: Ninjutsu (Wind)

Rank: Chuunin

Cost: 72 Chakra

Damage: 50

Effect: This is an incredibly fast, invisible attack, making it very hard to dodge. Reduce the effective evasive skill by 40 when trying to dodge this move.

Description: A mighty blow of wind infused with chakra lacerates the skin. Due to the nature of the chakra seeking wind, it is very hard to see and dodge.

Points: 3 (paid -2, speciality)

Desert Coffin (Sabaku Kyuu)

Type: Ninjutsu (Sand)

Rank: Chuunin

Cost: 120; 80 upkeep

Damage: 20

Effect: Opponent may attempt to break free every Response phase at the cost of 5% of their total Stamina OR Chakra; roll d100 + opponent's level - user's level. If roll is equal to 50 or greater, opponent breaks free. For every turn they are trapped inside within the Jutsu they are dealt 40 unmodified damage. The trapped may not do anything other than attempt to break free while trapped, and they may not be targetted by jutsu (enemy or ally) with the exception of Desert Graveyard. This jutsu may be disengaged in the set-up phase, but the user may not attack the target in the turn that they do so.

Description: The hand of sand that strangles the life out of those unwary. This is one of the most diabolical jutsus in the wind ninjas arsenal and had best be avoided at all costs.

Pouncing Tiger

Effect: Opponent is ‘Bruised' on their shoulders/chest for 3 turns.

Description: The user will jump into the air, coming down towards the enemy with both feet as if to crush their collar bones. If successful the enemy will suffer from bruising on the shoulders from where the user landed. Immediately afterward they will jump off and move away.

Effects: 12 bleeding damage for 3 turns.

Description: By touching the ground with their palms the user is able create many very strong and thin steel spikes that stores up underground. The user is able to do so with help from the special chakra flowing inside of him/her that makes them able create steel by only using their own blood. Once done creating spikes the user makes the spikes travel towards the opponent in high speed while still being keptunderground. As the spikes gets to where the opponent is they erupt from the ground and in the direction of the target, catching them by surprise. The spikes slice and impale the opponent which causes them to bleed heavily.

In order to use Sound jutsu, you must either be a shinobi of Otogakure no Sato or have the ability to use Wind and Lighting, merging them into the element of Sound with the skill "Twisted Colors."

Well if that's the case I'll have to change it all then, even though I couldn't easily find anything about both those things. But it would be easier to remake the charcter. I'll bump this when I'm done.

Since you altered your character profile, I don't believe it does. Oh, and you must wait 72 hours before you can double-post/bump a topic. Try posting in the staff member's approval threads under the RPG Talk Forum if you haven't already if you're looking for fast approvals. Dropping them a PM couldn't hurt either.

A way to easily keep track of your skill points would be using this sort of format, and lets say your at level 5 for the example.

Same thing for jutsu points. Hope it helps~
