Hair? On a normal day, the most Mamimi may find herself doing with her hair is brushing its deep purple strands into a manageable state. Her hair is cut shortly on top with a pair of bangs hanging down on either side of her face. Her hair flips out along the sides, matching the usual positioning of her feline ears. In the rear, her hair was pulled back into a ponytail and allowed to grow beyond her mid-back.

Appearance? Once alabaster skin has turned a deep tan in the days that Mamimi has spent wandering the world's wastes. She has grown an inch, but appears mostly the same in the respect of her build. Her body fat is nonexistent, burned off due to the arts of survival and previous extensive physical conditioning. She has what one would call a 'sharp' face, with remarkable features. While not often called "Beautiful", she has more than once been referred to as "attractive".

Within the details of her tanned face, one is drawn not only to her smile - Who's nature always seems to be playful - But one is also drawn to Mamimi's eyes. Almond eyes house eyes of a most memorable sort. Mamimi's eyes are a golden-yellow and bear the crescent, feline, pupil that is found in all Furousha.

"Looked like an ego in a bombshell? You should have seen how she acts!"

Beaten and battered, shot and shattered; Keeping Mamimi's spirit down is something only the most intense of tortures could even hope to achieve. Her ego is oft so inflated that you might literally be able to float it down a river. When downtrodden, it only takes a measure of time for her to regain her fighting spirit. Her latest downtime was due more to her own bodies failure than that of her spirit, though she was disheartened for nearly a year.

Mamimi at her truest is 'aggressive'. She carries on with a "fun yeah!" sort of attitude, limiting herself at only the most crucial of times. Her resolve shows through at its brightest when others are dependent upon her. Instead of being crushed under the weight of their judgment, she sees it as a chance to thrive.

Towards people in general, Mamimi seems to have a torn concept of who is acceptable to her and who is not. In the past, she had been discriminated against for her abnormal appearance but as she grew up, those around her let go of their foolish preconceptions of 'normal' and 'not'. Because of this change in people, she has found it necessary that she keeps up and remains vastly forgiving. After all, people change, don't they? While her ego and overemphasis of her attitude at times cause conflict, she tends to let things go fairly easily. While clashing, she prefers to keep it more humorous to those around her than hostile. She does this under the belief that if the argument is something that cannot be resolved between the two combatants, that an outside person would step in without feeling overly intimidated.

Mamimi, despite her enjoyment of groups, tends to believe that personal freedom should trump all. She enjoys traveling by her lonesome, or in the company of a less talkative animal. The thrill of a hunt is something that has stuck with her since birth - enjoying to track and toy with potential food before releasing it or consuming it. She aspires to one day travel the world and write a novel of her exploits. That is, when she gains the patience to write more than a few pages for a letter.

This Furousha hates formal situations. In places that would require her to act "up-tight" or reserved, she tends to be incredibly strained and annoyed. She feels that if one masks themselves behind fancy words and customs, they will lose sense of what it is that truly drives them. Mamimi, too, knows that some use this as an environ to hide their motives and plot against another person. This, she entirely disagrees with and believes that any quarrels between people should be settled either in a brawl, or face to face in some manner or another. She has even go so far as to suggest that a neighboring cat and dog play shogi to set aside their difference in a friendly and productive game of strategy. Little did she know, at the time, that her animal communicational skills were vastly limited to felines, and that house cats were terrible board game learners.

Prelude;

At a young age, one almost too young to legitimately remember her mother, Mamimi was moved to her Uncle's abode within the borders of Sunagakure no Sato. Her uncle, a "Rookie of the year" in his era took up an instant liking to this new niece of his and swore that she would always be welcome in his household. With the promises of home and hearth, Mamimi could only settle in and be happy.

When the time was to come that Mamimi would be placed into the Ninja Academy, she joined without hesitation. Backed with the blessing of her uncle, Mamimi.... Bombed. She was quickly caught up in the social politics of youngsters within the academy even despite being frequently harassed for her unusual appearance. This plague of hers did not lost long. The first birthday of hers within the academy that brought her no extensions of warmth hardened her; that is, it tempered her resolve to follow in the footsteps of her uncle. From later that day, following a cat nap of only epic proportions, Mamimi took on the path of extreme taijutsu training. While she pulled her grades to a mediocre in Ninjutsu, Genjutsu was all but lost to her.

The Life and the Times of a Sunagakure Gennin

After graduating from the Sunagakure academy, receiving marks in taijutsu unknown even for years to come, Mamimi found herself without companionship once more. Even despite the urgings of her uncle in the academy, she was without a team. It would remain this way for nearly a year, insuring the fact that her uncle would be the only man left to look out for her. Only after a year of low-maintenance training, Mamimi was assigned to the single-man 15th cell. Unfortunate enough for her, the jounin was a pervert. FORTUNATE enough for her, he trained her only mildly before disappearing into the pages that would make up her life story.

Some time after graduating to a full-fledged gennin, Mamimi was introduced to the uncooperative duo that were Tabuto and Akasabure Kouta. Despite differences between Tabuto and the other two, they seemed to mesh together flawlessly. And that was good - until the times of the Chuunin exams. Tabuto backed out, and dropped from the roster, while Kouta and Mamimi were left to train themselves extensively in preparation for the coming storm. Shortly before departure to the exams, set in Kusagakure, Inuzuka Sanshi was assigned to their cell to complete the trio.

In the Chuunin exams, the Sunagakure trio seemed to come nearly on top as third place overall, being the only team to have their entirety promoted to the status of Chuunin.

Of Chuunins and Conquest

Mamimi's time as a chuunin would go on almost uneventfully. She was assigned the occasional mission, allowed to teach some of the academy students in her taijutsu expertise. Things were boring for some time, or was it a little time?

It would not be long after the Chuunin exams that Kumogakure launched their Imperial schemes. They took to attacking Sunagakure like a sandstorm, using blitzkrieg tactics against them. It was within this war that Mamimi's life would be turned around, twisted, and wrung for all it was worth.

During the secondary wave of attacks on the Village, Mamimi was assigned to front-line duties, as the jounin needed help as a wounded wolf needed its pack. On this front, this oh-so-bloody front, Mamimi would encounter the end of her life as she knew it. He was dressed in earth-tones and wielded the very skys themselves as his weapons. Mamimi knew she was no match, but she engaged him anyways. One could say Mamimi was defeated, or one could say that Mamimi was defeated. She had her ego, her confidence, her everything beaten from her frame. There was no mercy, there was no forgiveness. There was only pain.

When the Kumogakure beast had finished his twisted rituals of pain and many things forbidden, Mamimi was left to die in the dunes of the desert. It would be days before she rose, and when she did, she was more of a zombie than anything alive. Limbs mangled and beaten, she shambled away from her village. How could she possibly show her face in the village still alive? She knew it would be the ultimate dishonor, and shuffled onward to a dying sun.

It's the End of the World as we know it

Mamimi wandered the corners of all that she knew, beaten and broken, for nearly a week before collapsing before a shanty town along the borders of Yuki no Kuni. Her eyes closed, and she believed that it was truly the end of her road.

There's nothing like a Funeral to make you feel ALIVE

Mamimi awoke on a frost-chilled morning some three years after her incident. She had been cared for, though with the most basic of first aid, for many months after collapsing on the doorstep to what she believed was hell's gateway. The town was shoddy, the food was terrible, and all around, this village sucked. But she was not ungrateful. Had these villages not extended their severely limited supplies, she would have frozen to death that day. She rose from her bed, slowly sliding her blankets to the side. She had been gathering her resolve for years, hardening her mind where her body was failing during the times that she was incapacitated. She rose and dressed. Mamimi, wearing the simple clothes of a farmer, stepped outside her shack's door. Today, she would begin life anew. Her only problem? She wasn't sure the world was ready for her.
