Fluffywerewolf Posted August 27, 2008 Posted August 27, 2008 (edited) Shodaan's death Character Sheet ~User Data~ -Username: Fluffywerewolf -Posting: Constantly -Time Zone: Same as Skittz ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Basics~ Name: Furosha, Keianzen Village: Sunakure No Sato (NCIA-Starting in Fang) Clan:Furosha Age: 19 Gender: Male ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Appearance~ -Height: 5' 9 ½” -Weight: 155 lbs -Hair: Keianzen's hair is ink black, and cascades down his neck and shoulders, leading down to Satiny black fur that cover's his entire body. The velvety fur that blankets his body is about a half an inch long. Keianzen usually wears his long hair down, allowing it to ebb and flow with the wind. -Eye Color: The young Furosha's eyes are emerald green, bearing the familiar crecent pupils that are known to the feline clan. -Clothing: His clothing varies, usually including his greatscythe Itsuki. He favors form fitting clothes in natural colors, but will dress appropriately for the occasion. -Physical Description: Keianzen's body is that of a hunter, trained to the pinnacle of physical fitness. Due to his long internment in the forests of Otogakure, his physique had adapted to a purely survivalist nature. Where at one point, his body was nearly absent of fat, he has recently begun to fill out as he is re-introduced to civilization. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~History~ Background: Born in the village of Otogakure no Sato to an unknown couple, Keianzen's birth was completely normal, despite the strange location of his ears. Up toward the top of his head, twin triangles perked out. From that moment on, his heritage could not remain hidden. He was a furosha. He spent a normal childhood, about as much as could be expected being half cat in the sound village, learning life's lessons quickly. Reading, writing, and basic survival came naturally to the young man, and he was delving into the history of his clan at the age of six. Rather than rejecting his different heritage, he embraced it; he soon was adapting to his clawed hands, perfect night vision, and incredible reflexes. He made friends rapidly, and attended a normal school rather than the traditional shinobi academy. He had no drive to be a killer. Life went on, and soon Keianzen was in high school. He was well liked, but not overtly popular, and had received the most important thing he would ever get; a job. Through a strange series of circumstances, he had wound up as a clerk in a grocery store. A strong build, as well as a sharp mind, had landed him as a combination of night stocker and floor man. He was decent, and his excellent senses made him an ideal security guard. Though he was not in on the shinobi scene, the newspapers told of the Kumogakure no Sato march and takeover of Otogakure no Sato. Keianzen just didn't care. He simply had his job, and in the grocery store business, it didn't matter whose side he was on. He still had to do what he was told. Eventually resistance cells started to show up, and Keianzen found his breaks filled with chatter about the upcoming war. Strangely enough, the young man still didn't care. He was far too busy with the process of real life to spend his breaks gabbing about events that may not even happen. Instead, he would eat. Chicken, shrimp, beef, pork, all fell before his voracious appitite. The talk became more feverish, yet Keianzen remained unconcerned. He knew that he would remain working even if the NCIA fell to the resistance shinobi; he would remain employed if the resistance cells were all murdered. That was what he really liked about his job; the job security. It was a late night, and Keianzen was burning through his routines. He had been working for a while, so he knew exactly where everything needed to go. About half way through, the lights suddenly blinked out. Though not common, blackouts did happen, and such situations were what made him such an admirable candidate for the job. His vision at night was better than it was during the day time hours. Unhindered, he finished the case of cereal he was on, and walked to the back where the backup power generator was located. He flipped the switch; once, twice, and the third time, he started to feel as though something were horribly wrong. The sound of glass exploding caught his ear, and he immedeiatly surged to the front door. There were no alarms, as he did not arm them while he was active in the store. He was hiding in the shadows, making sure that his breathing remained calm and controlled. Not a sound was heard as he exhaled and inhaled. The two people who were breaking in revealed themselves. One was a small, thinner teenager, he didn't look much older than thirteen. The other was entirely different. He was a massive beast of a teenager, who towered over the other in girth and size. Keianzen Identified him as the primary threat and dismissed the other as just an accomplice. He burst out of the shadows, wrapping his black furred arms around the large one's head. The man backed up rapidly, and slammed the furosha against a nearby soda machine. A burst of air exploded as the wind was knocked out of him, and his grip slipped. His opponent reached back, clasping what felt like individual bunches of polish sausages around his ribcage. The impact that followed left him dazed and even more winded. He lay on the ground, trying to catch his breath, when the smaller thin one found him. ~Kill him~ The massive man raised his foot and started to drive it into the young man's chest. Survival instincts took over, and Keianzen's hands shot out, clutching the oncoming foot at the ankle. A swift twist sent the sound of bone shattering through the store. In a smooth, almost choreographed motion, the intended victim rose to his feet, still holding his target's ankle. The man overbalanced, and fell to the floor, he head bouncing twice off the polished tiles. No hesitation registered as the preadator drove his foot onto the prone man's throat, breaking the vertebrae just below the brain stem, killing his opponent instantly. The younger, thinner man turned tail and ran off into the forest. Keianzen followed, his senses peaked for this moment. The chase lasted for six hours, finally ending in a large meadow, with the hunter standing alone. Unconciousness took him, and he slept. When he awoke, the gravity of what he had done struck him. He had taken another life. Despite the fat that it had been in defense of his own, he still could not come to terms with the act. His psyche snapped, and he ran into the forests of Otogakure no Sato, where he remained for two years.. ~~~~2 years later~~~~ A scent. A subtle aroma that he hadn't smelled in a long time caught his attention as he waited in the branches of the oak. The deer he had been stalking carelessly walked, oblivious to the hunter in his turf. He watched, emerald eyes paying attention to the most minute of details. A twitch in the stag's right flank warned of a movement, and before the creature realized what was happening, the predator had made his move.. Falling down, he landed on his prey, slashing through the arteries on either side of the animals neck with his claws. A gout of blood signaled a killing blow, and the deer fell. Methodically, the hunter removed the pelt, and cut a large section of meat from the upper flanks. He bit in, savoring the flavor of fresh meat. So enthralled by the taste was he, he never noticed the two people in the bushes. He never noticed the small tube that appeared from behind a camoflauged screen. And he had only just gotten a scent of a threat when a small dart thudded into his upper back. When he awoke, he was in a bed. A real bed, for the first time in two years, he had slept with blankets and a pillow. Both were, however, reduced to shreds on the ground. Silently, he stalked out of his room, seeing with scent what his eyes wouldn't. But there was an overwhelming aroma. A scent from his past. Cooked meat. He entered into the small kitchen, where a large matronly woman stood in front of a small gas oven. She turned around and smiled, handing a plate to the confused child. ~~~~1 year later~~~~ Keianzen woke up once more, went downstairs, and ate breakfast with the two people he had come to call Granmother and Grandfather. He went about his morning routine, hugging his grandfather's shoulders, and kissing his grandmother on the cheek. The elderly couple had been in for a long run, and over the past year, had returned most of Keianzen's civilization. Healthy eating habits, speech therapy, and enrollment into the Sunagakure no Sato ninja academy, had returned most of his social skills. He graduated from the academy to become a gennin. He continued to train, and through training alone, his teachers noticed several factors. His chakra control was excellent, albeit late in learning, and his hand to hand combat rivaled most of his teachers'. They were saying he would be allowed to participate in the chunnin exams, but mere days before he could take them the self-same resistance he had cared so little about had made their move. Having been imbedded into the sunagakure no sato academy long before the exams, no one expected these shinobi to emerge. They were unstoppable, and as they marched through the school, anyone who would not join them was killed. Keianzen did the only thing he knew how to do; Run to the forests. Try as he might, he could not quite evade them, but as he reached the ends of the desert, the hunt stopped. Little did he know that he had entered into NCIA territory. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~After the Hunt~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He was back in a forest, in his home element. Here, he once more receded into his survivalist instincts acting solely to live. But the young man would not have to wait two years before civilization found him once more. In fact, only six months passed before he once again held the scent of other humans in what he was calling his territory. A pair of young children were rushing through the forest, attempting (but failing miserably) to be stealthy. Keianzen would have heard them if he had his head buried in a hole. The two way radios they were using to comunicate were not-so-state-of-the-art, and required them to talk at a much higher volume than a more traditional shinobi would have. They were just children, young academy students out for some survival training; but to the furosha, they were intruders. The now feral young man decided that these two would have to die. Silent as death, he trailed the two, allowing only minute hints to drop as to his existance. A cracked branch, a fallen leaf, subtle things that young students are not trained to recognize. The two students knew something was after them, but what? The game of cat and mouse had begun. Stealth was all but forgotten as the two children barrelled hell for metal toward what they hoped was the end of the woods, with keianzen following close behind. His pointed teeth revealed themselves in a wide grin, as the students ran out of room to run. A steep cliff face stood before them, and a malignant force behind them. The two were huddling on the ground, clingling tightly to each other when the furosha dropped down. The clawed tips of his fingers slid out of their retaining brackets, and his eyes gleamed with anticipation. As his left hand came arcing down, a figure appeared in his way. The green vest the man was wearing took the full force of his attack absorbing it with little more evidence than a single tear. Keianzen looked up and saw a confused look cross the man's face. That confusion lasted only an instant before a left hook took its place. The furosha hit the ground and slept. When he awoke again, he was in the infirmary, nursing the aftershocks from a broken jaw. Surprisingly enough, the two he had been hunting also lay in beds beside him. The nurse walked in, noticed he was awake, and pressed a red button that was on a nearby desk. The same man who had punched him walked in, a strage look on his face. "Furosha, Keianzen, right?" "Uhh..."His voice came out with a sound like gravel rolling over itself. It had been a long time since he had used it. He coughed for a moment, his vocal cords retracting and constricting his throat. "Yeah, I am. Can I help you?" The man stood the strange look on his face converting into one of purest confusion. As he looked into the boys Eyes, he realized that the furosha did not know what he had been doing. One was as completely confused as the other. "What is the last thing you remember?" Keianzen told his story, which seemed to match up to the salvaged records of Suna, though it had only recently been completely freed of NCIA. "I would have been a Gennin by now, had it not been for the resistance..." The fact that some dischord had set his life back so much infuriated him, and it was well noticed. The man stood from the chair he had taken; the furosha's story had been long winded to say the least. "I would like to give you a chance to become a gennin once again. Of course you will have to complete basic training again, but im sure that won't be a problem for you. If you prove yourself, you may enter into the NCIA as a gennin. You will get the chance to regain lost ground. Do you accept?" The question came to Keanzen as though from the lips of the achangel herself, and the young man nodded, then voiced his acceptance. A strong, furred hand reached out and clasped the jounnin's. He would accept. ~~~~~~~~~~~Basic Training, Not again~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Once again, as always, the alarms rang at 3:00 in the morning. The furosha, as well as the remainder of his barraks were up and showered in a few moments. The hard, disciplined lifestyle was wreaking havoc with his personality, but he would endure as he had for the previous 17 years of his life. Today was weapons training however, and he had been looking forward to it for the last week. Today he would select a trademark that would identify him for the history books. He stood in formation, fifth one from the left, in his trainee uniform. The jet-black leather armor that they were required to wear came complete with fingerless black gloves, and was almost a second skin. The weapons master walked out of the small cabin he kept, and behind him, a large trunk. "Today you will decide the weapons, if any, you will weild. You will have a day to familiarize yourself and then..." The man allowed his voice to trail off, leaving only a grin. "...Then we will have a tournament. You will be pitted against each other in an unknown area, and those who finish in the lower 50% will be forced to repeat the training. Inside this trunk you will find all manner of wooden weaponry, each designed to reflect the particular balance and weight of your chosen weapon. Choose wisely, for you will not get a second chance." With that, the man formed a singel seal and the trunk's lock burst open. The chest was presented down the line, each person having a few seconds to examine, decide, and select their weapon. As the chest reach Keanzen, one weapon stood out in particular. A wicked, arcing blade held in place by a single wooden pole. He reached down, selecting the large scythe and sliding it in the weapons slot held on the back of his armor. It felt good there. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Practice~~~~~~~~~~~~ Spin, parry, swing, spin, dodge, gash, slice, trip The black wooden weapon looked to be little more than a blur orbiting it weilder, so fast did the furosha's hands and body move. The practice dummy had several dents and nicks from the harder wood. A few people stood outside, watching the display. Each movement fueled the next, and the trainee's momentum grew. A feeling of anticipation could be felt as the routine got faster and faster, and in a what seemed to be his final move, he brought the bladed end down, sundering the practice dummies left arm. But it didnt end there; he had found his ebb and flow, and continued the downward motion, turning his body 180 degrees, and bringing the weapon down through the opposite shoulder. Once more, he repeated the motion, slamming the hardwood blade into the straw dummy's head. He held the pose for one moment, his chest heaving with the effort. He would be ready for the tournament. ~~~~~~~~~Tournament Day~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ His chakra was suppressed. A minimal flow of it kept him alive, but all other tenketsu were sealed off. it wasnt as though it made too much of a difference, he had used only minimal jutsu, maintaining a strict preference to the most basic of support ninjutsu. He liked getting up close and personal, not standing back and avoiding damage. There was something about taking the hit that appealed to him. He shook his head, and shifted the black body armor that they were all given. It was a snug fit, but didn't quite hold to his different bodyshape. He had already cut a hole so his tail could fit through. He, like the rest of the students, had been placed inside individual holding cells until the tournament began. They had only their weapon of choice, and their armor, as well as four shuriken. The gate closing him in slid up, allowing him unfettered accsess into the arena. He shook his head when the lush green landscape greeted him. Once again, he had found himself in a forest. In a moment, he had scaled a large fir tree, his scythe resting comfortably on his back. There was time to wait, and wait he did. Stone still he rested, his eyes ever watchfull, his ears ever listning. A faint whisper of a sound caught his ear, and he looked down to the ground. Two students were having a conversation, assumedly creating a temporary allience with one another. Several students had already been elimenated. A porcalain grin spread across his face as a black furred arm reached into a small hip pouch. Grasping two shuriken, the hunter delicately pulled them out, noting the strange Kanji etched into one side. He flipped them casually, not aiming for a hit, at the back of one and the head of the other. The first got hit, and a flash of light erupted from the shuriken. The second fell to his knees, barely in time to avoid the other shuriken that had been thrown. On his knees, the young man realized his mistake, and had almost stood up again when Keianzens wooden scythe slammed into his right arm, leaving a large, bleeding welt. A flash of light was issued from the catwalk above the arena, and the two injured nin were escorted out of the ring. The hunter continued on his way, never stopping for long, each pause heralding another strike. So used to forests was he that even the combined forces of four other students didnt stand in his way. Not once did a weapon touch his body, nor did his weapon fail to strike a target. In six hours, the tournament was over, keianzen standing in front of his superiors. A strong handshake, and the vestments of an NCIA agent was all he recieved. But it was all he needed. ~~~~~~~~~~~Part Two: Missions~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ He silently sat on the couch, his emerald eyes never leaving the priceless parcel he had been selected to guard. The bull dog merely stared back at him, licking his sagging chops. I hate dogs he thought to himself, knowing full well that it was his heritage that had provoked this slant. There were many people on the NCIA "Board of Trustees" that didnt like him. And he was okay with that as long as it didn't interfere too much with his training. But sometimes they pulled stunts like this just to piss him off. And it worked. Well. This was the seventeeth time he had been selected to pull guard dog duty for some old lady's guard dog whilst she was away. His scythe, which he had named itsuki was leaning up agaist the wall, the large silver blade pointing downard, resting within easy arms reach. It was increadable how much the damned thing had cost, alchemical silver being something not too commonly found in the Fang. But, a mission was a mission, and he did know his place. What the irate furosh did not know, was that this house belonged to a very important member of a ruling family. Nor did he know that he had been placed not to protect the dog, but as bait. The woman went to the mission board, asking for someone to protect her. Inside her basement were several important documents pertaining to different gene codes, including those of some of Konoha's greatest families. Several threats had been made, each one demanding she surrender the documents. The board had told her to flee to nearby konoha, and placed one of their best Gennin as a watch. Oblivious to the importance of his mission, keianzen was still sitting on the couch, deeply involved in a staring contest with an obese bull dog. His ears, however, were far more focused than his eyes. Perfectly attuned to what was going on outside, he heared the hushed whispers at the back door. He heard the sound of a lockpick being inserted into the keyhole. He broke eye contact with the dog, and grabbed itsuki. "Can I help you?" He asked through the wood work. The responses of the two responsible could have went on hallmark cards, so shocked were their expressions. Without awaiting an answer, the furosha opened the door, a smile on his face as the lockpicks were jerked out of one's hand. "Ah..." he began, Itsuki's bare edge showing at the top of his left shoulder. "...You must be the locksmiths. Im glad you are here. I was trying to get a hold of you, I've been needing to tell you that I found the key, so you dont need to let me in." The scene was laughable, the taller shinobi looking at the petty theives, and the theives' heads nodding in agreement. How stupid can people get? he silently asked himeself. "Please, come inside, i have dinner cooking. Im sure after the long walk from Iwagakure no Sato that you must be hungry." The two theives sputtered something incomprehensable, then allowed themselves to be led into the house. A flash of movement from itsuki was all they had time to register before their legs seemed to dissapear beneath them. Aiming to trip, not cut, Keianzen had forced both theives to the ground, laying Itsuki's pole down across their bared throats. "You two should really learn what you are doing. Honestly..." He shook his head at the two prone figures, each one with a look of terror in their eyes. The fat dog waddled over, baring his large fangs at the helpless theives. Keianzen, with his foot on the pole that held the two down, made a series of psudeo-seals, allowing breif flashes of light to emmenate from his hands. "This technique i designed myself. You two look like you know enough about ninjutsu for me to spare you the details, so I will leave it at this; One movement from either of you, and you will both die. But your deaths will not be swift, no. The chakra in my scythe will start cutting you, peeling your flesh away layer by layer reducing you to little more than a thinly sliced cadaver. And you will live through most of it, i will warn you. Move not, and you may live." The gullible theives lay, on their backs, stock still for two days, the furosha allowing them sips from a water bottle every two hours. When the woman came home, her two escorts in tow, the two were nearly dead from starvation. Off to the left, Bu-Bu, the dog, ate his daily can of dog food. The two chuunin shinobi looked at keianzen with an inquisitive look, then to the two theives on the wood floor. In a heartbeat, the theives were begging Keianzen to release them, that they would gladly tell everything they were asked, as long as his Cadaver technique didnt kill them. The chunnin, confused before, now completely lost, gazed at Keianzen with open mouths. The furosha laughed, and reached down, scratching the theif on the left and making him jump. The two theives soiled themselves, and Keianzen removed the scythe. The two theives fainted. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~Dealing with Superiors~~~~~~~~~~~~ He walked in, itsuki now sheathed in elegant black leather, and stood in front of the desk. The secretary, a stout woman with too much makeup on, turned and smiled. She waved her hand at a door and motioned that the furosha should walk through. He did as he was told, and went in. Inside, several people dressed in well fitting business suits were talking back and forth in hushed tones. Had he wanted too, he could have heard everything they were saying, but he chose to allow them to speak when they would. He had time. Five minutes passed, and the furosha was still standing. Seeming to just notice him, a fat man in the middle told him to be seated. He did as he was told, waiting patiently. The conversation was long winded, but the furosha held his curiosity, allowing his mind to focus on the beauty of his weapon. Itsuki was truly a work of art, a combination of alchemic silver, wood, and steel made the scythe nigh indestructable, and the roaring lions head on the bottom added balance where such a weapon would normally had lacked. "Furosha Keianzen..." The voice of the fat man brought him from his oogling of his weapon. "...We would like to congradulate you on your previous mission. Such inginuity is rarely found in gennin. Had you not stopped the two chunnin who were coming to steal the clan bloodline scrolls, we would have had a great deal of problems on our hands. Your quick thinking, and inpeckable discresion in handling this situation have astounded us all. Your mission logs show perfect marks, a feat few can manage to accomplish anymore, and we have had no complaints from your clients. It is with all of this in mind, I would like to extend to you our congradulations, as well as the rank of Chuunin. In times like this, with war brewing all over, it is hard to find somone with social tact, as well as battle tactics. Henceforth, you are granted chuunin Status as a result of your amazing intellect, discretion, and skills." Another firm handshake, and a small box was given to him. He smiled as he walked out, catching the last phrase the fat man said to those around him. "Had it not been for the information garnered from the theives, we would be left with no idea who was behind this. Six chuunin and four jounnin vied for him, we couldnt deny them." Inside of the box was a vest, a single chevron on the shoulder denoting him as Chuunin. Well, Im ready to start. Let's see what the world holds for us itsuki ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~Persona~ Personality: Despite his career choice as a shinobi, Keianzen trusts readily and openly. He thrives in social situations, and lives for people. His sense of humor is what some would call off, filled with ironies, puns, and the observation of the painfully obvious.. However, this laughable facade seves only to hide his true feelings. The young man is still tormented by his emotions an d by the death of the man in the store. One day, he hopes to atone for it. However, there are occasions where his survival instincts take over. When this happens, he has to suppress his urges to hunt, and occasionally, he fails. Though he doesn't know it, he was the reason fifteen other children in the chunnin exams were killed. Likes: Keianzen is an outgoing, happy youth, who is most at home in the desolate wastelands outside of Sunagakure. He has often been found wandering alone, carrying little supplies, leaving himself alone with only his wits and survival instincts. He dislikes solitude, but absolutely refuses to take anyone else along when he goes out. Dislikes: Very little offends the young man, but a surefire way to raise his ire is by complaining. As a result of his life in the forests, he learned how to survive with nothing other than his own wits, he feels no empathy for those who would rely on everyone and everything else. Self-Sufficiency is the best way to keep his anger off of someone else's. ~Favorite~ -Food: Meat, of any kind, barely cooked. -Color: Any of the earthy spectrum.
