75 Clone I

96 Clone II

Both Raz and his clones managed to maneuver comfortably in the suction of the portal, manipulating the same trick the master had. Raz smirked when he saw at least one of his clones managing to land a clean hit, The other missed, and ended up screwing up completely. It couldn't be helped, at least one had been successful. As he began to pull himself to his feet, suddenly Li appeared before him. It was lightning quick, and he barely had enough time to raise his arms in front of him to block the assault. He'd land a clean shot in his chest, causing Raz to stumble, but not much else.

As for Raz's clones, one was also hit by the attack, causing it to explode into a torrent of wind, speeding forwards towards the perpetrator, swirling into a medley of twisting, razor wind. The second clone was a little more lucky. At the exact moment Li would appear to him, he'd accidentally mix up how much wind he would have to force against himself to keep himself from sliding into the void. This caused him to slide backwards towards the portal slightly, narrowly avoiding the melee attack. Raz's eyes lit up; here was his chance to possibly end this if he could.

He knew this would probably be the last shot he got to land a solid hit on Li, due to the fact that his clone would begin to slow down in a minute or so. He began sending directives to the final clone, which glanced over at it's master and nodded, running ahead, and clapping it's hands together, the wind in the building slowly beginning to twist and turn around him. Meanwhile, Raz stretched his arms out, in each hand, a separate element would form. In his right palm, a swirling, small tornado would form, whipping and raging in all the might it could fathom. In his left hand, a ball of fire crackled and floated, the glow of it's heat radiating onto Raz's face, making his hair appear even brighter, and causing a couple sweat drops to fall. He quickly placed the fireball into the funnel of the tornado, causing it to expand, and brighten up into crimson and pomegranate colors. The glow was even more intense now, as was the heat that radiated off of it.

The winds picked up, becoming powerful, having the potential of pushing and pulling anyone it willed to. Once the clone finished it's job, it stood back, Raz walking forwards slightly, before placing his right palm forwards, and muttering the jutsu's name quietly, the one that managed to exorcize the demon inside of him.

[Jade Pinwheel Type; Blazing Column]

The tornado expanded as it released, becoming a monstrous combination of fire and wind, enough to burn one's skin for months. The sheer force of the jutsu had the potential to blow a hole in the tower, and the opponent out of it. Raz didn't consider this very much, since defeating this man was far more important then a simple hole that could be repaired. He snarled as he released it, hoping the man would be assimilated to the ever growing hurricane of flames that continued to grow due to the excessive amount of air in the room. His coat billowed outwards, tugging backwards and his jutsu blew forwards.

.:Hisui Fuusha; Aki Rasshu [Jade Pinwheel Type; Autumn Rush]:.

Type: Ninjutsu [Wind][sealess][Personal]

Rank: Jounin

Cost: 200

Damage: N/A

Effects: The terrain ‘Strong Winds' becomes active. The user of this jutsu does not suffer the negative effects of ‘Strong Winds'.

Strong Winds: 20% chance to fall prone at the start of every turn. -10% to hit with ranged attacks.

Description: Part of a large set of techniques created by Kinsen ‘Raz' Rasen with the intent of adding more wind manipulation into his arsenal of techniques. Being naturally attuned to the wind, Raz was able to manipulate the air around him to such a degree that strong gusts of wind will continuously be exerted from him, and blow forwards towards the enemies. Scince the gusts of wind are created by Raz's chakra aura, the wind does not actually touch him, therefore making him immune to falling because of the gusts, and also allowing him to get around the difficulty of using ranged attacks while within the stormy gales.

.:Hisui Fuusha; Hibashira [Jade Pinwheel Type; Blazing Column]:.

Type: Ninjutsu [Wind + Fire][sealess][Personal]

Rank: Sennin

Cost: 800

Damage: 450

Effects: The opponent is considered to be ‘burned' for x amount of RL days (Where x = the user's level), or until the ninja is healed by a Sennin ranked medic. Rather then taking 10 damage per turn, the opposing ninja takes damage equal to the user's level at the time of this jutsu. Any form of terrain that does not have to do with water/wind is eliminated from the battle. If the terrain ‘Strong Winds' is active, the opponent's evasion is –200 for this attack. Target may not have their 'burned' status added on to by stacking effects. Usable once per battle.

Description: Part of a large set of techniques created by Kinsen ‘Raz' Rasen with the intent of adding more wind manipulation into his arsenal of techniques. One of the most dangerous jutsu in Raz's arsenal, with the potential to completely wipe out whatever seems to be infront of him at the point of impact. The user of this jutsu must have excellent chakra control; for they must manipulate two different chakra elements at the same exact time. In one hand, the shinobi must create a fireball using their extensive knowledge of the fire element. In the opposite hand, they must create a tiny tornado of wind within their palm, delving into their talent to manipulate the wind element. Though the factors seem quite tiny and inconsequential, the enemy is quickly reminded not to underestimate the ninja. The user of the jutsu shall bring their palms together, and the elemental chakra shall mix. The wind feeds the fire to such a great extent, that a fire whirl is born. This phenomenon is monstrous in size, and immediately blasts forward in a vortex shape, as it completely incinerates anything that happens to be in its destructive path at the time. If more gusts of wind are already within the general area, the vortex is fed even more, becoming even more difficult to avoid. Burns caused by this jutsu are quite difficult to remove, and the shinobi must have medical attention for several days to get over the effects of the jutsu. When the jutsu is finally over, the ground, and anything that was in it's path is completely gone, only a huge crater of what once was remains. This jutsu can eliminate most terrain in a single blast, and has been rumored to be able to blast straight through a mountain.

[Rolled a 10 to dodge Hibashira; Hit]

[Present Li Dies]

The column of fire and wind would strike the man, his skin flaring up and incinerating upon impact. As he would vanish into nothing more than a charred corpse the second Li would hault and look over at his twin fighter. With a bit of a half hearted laugh he would wave his staff in his direction, making a few seals as he did. The air would become still, a few strange speckles of red dots could be seen liftin from the ground towards the corpse. Then it started to speed up, the dropplets moving more rapidly and slamming back into the wounds the lifeless body had just substained. As it sped up the corpse would give a jerk and pull back upwards, now long streams of red flying back into his body, all of the blood he had just lost from the final attack. His skin turned from a charred black, healing and returning to a flesh color, his eyes refocusing, a sharp breath being taken in as he came back to life. Looking over towards Raz the now ressurected man would smile madly.

"Didn't I tell you that its impossible to beat me here?!?", he said, laughing loudly as he did.

"My friend over there, he is from the past. In fact, I am him from hours ago. Not only can I control time while here, but I can rewind and manipulate it at my whim. I've already seen the end of this battle, and I've made every adjustment to place it to my favor.", he said, looking towards Raz as he finished.

"I'm a bit disappointed though.", the other would say in the same voice. "I was interested in seeing what would happen if I was the one to be killed. Common uneducated theory would simply say he would sieze to exist, but what if time is not as fragile as we make it? In the real world time travel is near impossible, far to overwhelming, but in this fabriced dimension it is easily possible. What if though, time is like a chain link fence that no matter how many times we beat and strike it, the basic form will hold?", he ended, finishing his thought as if it was to entice the two to do something further.

"Finished yet? Are you ready to run away?"

-----

Brash would cut across the crowd towards Nidori. As he approached he would speak out.

"Where is Raz? We have an issue.", he would say, the second part only loud enough for Nidori to hear. In the background some other ninja were speaking to the crowd, calming them and catching them up on the situation.

A tinge of satisfaction sparked in the back of Raz's mind as Hibashira hit dead on. He watched as the charred corpse bounce and skidded across the equally burned floors, flopping into a lifeless state. Perhaps it was sick that he gained satisfaction from this, but he truly thought it was over now. He thought all they'd need to do now was corner and pin the last Li for the finale. As steam and smoke poured out from Raz's palm, he casually turned towards the other Li, and began to approach him slowly now, the strong winds in the room whipping and twirling.

"One.”

Suddenly, past Li raised his staff towards his exorcized self. The proceeding events would mimic a video being played in reverse at hyper speed. It actually skeeved Raz out a bit, causing him to cock an eyebrow in disgust. The Li cackled manically like a bad cartoon villain, before explaining the current situation.

Raz hadn't thought of the possibility of using space-time ninjutsu to turn back time. It seemed almost impossible to him, but he had just witnessed it happen before his very eyes. Short of killing both men at the same time as well as using a jutsu that attacked at a particle-level, it would seem practically impossible to defeat them. Still, he hypothesized some weaknesses that could possibly be prevented in that jutsu. Space-time ninjutsu came at the cost of damaging molecules if used too often, as he witnessed when Syaoran himself began to grow weaker the more he relied on the legendary Hiraishin. He decided that wasn't smart to rely on, however. He also wondered if chakra was also returned to the body when rewound. Doing something of that sort could likely damage one's tenketsu, stunt it even. So many ideas, and yet in the end, the result would need to be the same.

Slipping his hand into his pocket, the boy yanked out a wind patterned scroll, and began letting it twirl on his index finger, before grasping it tightly, chakra flowing through it.

"Don't get too excited, I have no problem playing whack-a-mole all day with you.”

I...don't know Nidori exclaimed his confusion towards the whereabouts of Rasen; his gaze fixed on the portal he'd presumably be coming through. Enough time had passed for him to travel, what seemed to be the last of the escorted civilians also seemed to have come through; Nidori, himself standing among many of said civilians at that moment. Acknowledging the rest of hwat Brash had exclaimed, he had no idea what to expect; surely there was no way for Brash to know what was going on in regards to Rasen's whereabouts as he'd just asked.

Speaking in a manner matching the second half of Brash' address, he continued his reply I think I'd be more surprised if there was nothing wrong. He let out a heavy breath, almost a sigh before raising an eyebrow, Something complicated?

As he spoke he looked at many of the faces filling the room; many were scared, some were clearly trying t subdue their own panic. Seeing the people of Oto gathered at this time made Nidori realise how much tragedy had befallen his village. As a collective, the ensuing recovery; given what would appear to be the final steps in the unshackling of Oto, would be a tough one, but one that would ultimately bring each and every one of the faces that were present that bit closer.

Though it was a slightly idyllic thought, Nidori could not sway his mind of the location of both Rasen and Hakkai. They went MIA at random points in the mission with no assurance that they are safe or together. It was odd that he felt worried over two people who probably had the biggest reason -of all he knew- to hold some form of grudge.

Those moments of thoughts, externally rushed by Nidori as his face held a blank expression; hopefully Brash' news could shed light on something of use. Korin was probably asking questions, at least intrinsically about where 'Raz' was also.

With nothing more than a flick of his eyes upwards, Brash would motion for Nidori to look up. Above the village, dozens upon dozens of crows were circling, black as night in appearance. If one was to pay close enough attention, they would see a crow flicker out of thin air to join its brothers in the sky, slowly become a cloud of birds. Of course it was slowly that the crows would appear, maybe one or two each minute.

"The second in command here for the NCIA, he use to fight with a style that used crows as imagery often. He's been MIA since the beginning of the battle for Oto though..."

Hakkai watched at the Li was destroyed. He was happy that one was down and now that one was left. The odds were, for once, on their side. Hakkai enjoyed it when things became easy for him. It made his life simpler for just a split second.

Oh. That's right. The world likes to shit on his life. Forgot.

Just as the Li hit the ground, the second one did some crazy technique that stopped time and reversed it. Hakkai was shocked. These men can control time and space. Hakkai had no idea how this could be and had no idea how to go up against it. This kind of justu is very few numbers and Hakkai just thought they were a joke to begin with. Really… To warp reality at whim? It's more of a fairy tale than anything Hakkai has ever heard. But alas, this one is true. Then again, since the beginning of this whole NCIA thing, Hakkai hasn't exactly been following logic. But who cares? Hakkai, the real one, closed off his regeneration of his stamina so he could heal his body quicker. He had just enough...

Chi-gong Fighting Style: Health Flow

Bloodline: regular

Description: Chi-gong is an increasingly popular aspect of Chinese medicine involving the coordination of different breathing patterns with various physical postures and motions of the body. Chi-gong is mostly taught for health maintenance purposes, but there are also some who teach it, especially in China, for therapeutic interventions. Various forms of traditional Chi-gong are also widely taught in conjunction with Chinese martial arts, and are especially prevalent in the advanced training of what are known as the nei chia (internal martial arts). With use of the Chinese martial arts, the user of Chi-gong is able to flow their chakra and stanima quicker to make their techniques use less but damage more.

Effect: The user, when this stance is entered (taking one setup phase) will be able to nulify either of their 10% Regenerative qualities and instead give it to HP in its place. (Thus HP will now have a 10% regen like chak/stam would have). If the user wishes to trade regenerative qualities, then they must spend one setup phase. doing the action. If on the turn of the switch, the user would have regenerated, they maintain the old regenerative quality, for the new trait will not take effect until next turn. (EX: User activates the Chi-Gong Fighting Style, and gives up his Chakra Regen to heal himself. For three turns he heals untilhe is well. Now, however, he needs his chakra to heal, soc he swaps his stamina regen with his chakra regen. However, on this turn, the user would have regenerated, therefore, they still recover stamina this turn, and do not recover chakra until the next turn they are able)

Requirements: Chi-gong Fighting Style: Strength Flow and Chi-gong Fighting Style: Energy Flow.

Cost: -3

The second Li continued to talk. As the Li talked, Hakkai began to realize something.

"Li, you talk a lot, but all I hear is blah blah blah I can't fight so I cheat. So how about you shut the fukc up?” Hakkai said with a bright smile. He had really not sense of talking big, but seriously. Li needed to shut up. He talked waaaay too fucking much. Hakkai was a bit tired of it. He really wasn't here to talk. In fact, he didn't really want to be here. He just wanted to put on a shirt, maybe shower, and lay on a bed. But no, it can never be that easy.

"Oh, my apologies. I sometimes forget while in here that not everyone has all the time in the world.", the Li closest Hakkai would say as he created a vortex and seemed to step into it and then back out as if nothing had happened. A moment later a third Li would emerge from a vortex between Raz and Hakkai. It would be this one who spoke next.

"I mean, if I can bend time and travel just a few seconds into the future or past to recreate myself, then return to the same point in which I originally left, how much time do you think I can spend just talking? How many of me can I create until you are overwhelmed?", as he ended another vortex would open up and he would step into it disappearing.

"The real question is, did that third version of me just return to the point I had just departed from, or had I gone somewhere else in between? Or maybe a thousand places in between. Really, time is nothing more than an illusion here. One. Big. Experiment. Oh how I was overjoyed when the resistance attacked, without that commander around I was free to set up this world using the entire village without anyone around to stop me.", the first Li would speak again, the second one near Raz laughing at his partners continued talking.

Tilting his head slightly skyward, Nidori's other eyebrow soon met with its left counterpart in a raised position, he couldn't quite keep back his expression of shock. He didn't want to attract any uneccessary attention to what Brash had just shown him, but was weary that any villager could look up and see the dark cloud form. The materialization of the crows seemed to accelerate, growing thicker, even though it seemed to be formed from nothing.

As Brash spoke of a 'second in command', it fit with the events that had taken place since the four arrived in Oto. A thought crossed Nidori's mind, it was what Brash had told them earlier; before they'd traveled through the rift, a space time jutsu was used without proper training. Though it was unclear whether that may have been the case, the situation seemed to be no accident; it was as though the Oto based NCIA were making their last stand; this crow user and whoever was manipulating space. Nidori was struck with the feeling that there was a possiblility that Rasen had encountered the first in command, provided said commander wasn't already dead, something Nidori found unlikely. That may also lead to Hakkai's whereabouts which were still unknown.

The fact that Nidori himself had encountered crows in both dimensions was not to be ignored. Either this crow user was powerful enough to manipulate his jutsu on two plains or he also had some form of extra dimensional ability.

Nidori clenched his fist tight; he'd be involved in a battle soon, that feeling was more than apparent. He just needed the location of his opponent. He began to mould chakra in anticipation, letting it 'vent' through his melody arms;

"Fthsszzztt..."

Nidori winced, his arms feeling numb for a couple of seconds. He mumbled under his breath Shit, the sound was quite audible but he'd not mention it; not yet. In fact, his melody arms, or more precisely, the secondary bladders at the deepest point of them, alongside the air pressure device's own, had either become dislodged or punctured, it was too soon to tell at that point. He just knew he wouldn't be able to use them in the coming battle. Haven't had a chance to perform any maintenence on these in a couple of weeks... should have taken that into account earlier. Fortunately there were no derogatory effects while not using the melody arms save for a feeling of discomfort.

Nidori's eyes widened as he sighed, looking towards Brash while making an attempt at hiding the problem, though it would have been strange had Brash not heard the sound. Regardless, Nidori spoke, albeit in a the same tone the two had kept so far;

If that's his doing, then he may well be nearby. He was quite the nuisance within Oto II. Will I be tracking him solo?

As he spoke the blanket of crows enveloping the sky grew larger by the second. The danger was clear since each one of those crow were potentially an individual ninja as they were within Oto II, though a feat like that would show just how powerful this 'second in command' was. It also meant that he was using chakra. A strike soon would put Nidori at an advantage.

Korin lay static, prone. It was always her lesser constitution that kept her lagging behind her fellow shinobi- a fall like this meant just bruises to them, but to her there was just this lasting recoil of pain, binding and twisting. She could sense the eyes and the voices around her. At least, she assumed, relieved before coming to a definite conclusion, that the trapped prisoners of Oto II were rescued. But that really wasn't it... Hesitantly, the girl gingerly put her palms on the cool dusty floor, gingerly feeling for solid ground. Worst fears reassured, she picked her head up and rolled onto her back, eyes still closed.

"Raz, how are you doing?" The silence that ensued caused Korin to sit upright, vertigo blurring her sight and perceptions. Slightly more lucid since trying to counter L's advances, she feared she might have... all too hastily dressed that wound. Her frantic eyes searched the villagers for him, for Hakkai. Finding her feet, the girl stood and made for the tower's exit in search of a face. Upon gaining a view of the outdoors, she paused, transfixed by the black accumulating mass in the mackerel sky. "What in the..."

She'd left this Oto meeting one crow, and returned with a sky tainted with them. Unsure if it was safe outside, Korin stood upon the threshold of the tower. Anxiety built up within her- how long had it been since she'd encountered trouble without companions? She'd noticed Nidori and Brash outside gazing into the miasma, but their presences brought little comfort. Forgiving as she was, faith was no restored in her old teammate. She was an outsider to this- a stranger to the land and people. Aside from those two, she seemed the next most-able shinobi to take the call to arms. The ones she'd rescued from the hospital suffered wounds irreparable by chakra alone and without time. Peeling off the gauze bandages on her arms, she coated the reddish, leathery damage with a soothing salve of chakra.

Her eyes turned back to where the portal stood in hopes of seeing Raz there but to no avail. Yet instead, she was met with the uneasy eyes of the villagers, misplaced in their own village. Exiting would leave them defenseless. Forming three seeds of chakra, Korin spurned them to grow. Three tree-like creatures grew before her, their branches writhing and minds near sentient. "No harm will come, I guarantee." Whether or not they put trust into the foreigner meant nothing to her- as long as she could uphold her side of her promise, it's all there was to it.

Steeling herself, she stepped outside of the tower, closer to there Brash and Nidori stood. The girl crossed herself with a glowing cross before turning her eyes skyward again. "What can I do?"

The sheer amount of words this man could spill out of his gob each second was nearly unfathomable. Raz simply smacked his palm into his face, shaking his head in shame. This many was annoyingly talkative, like some mad scientist going on a monologue. As Raz began to speak, wind began to expand outside of the scroll he was holding, which he now held behind him to keep himself from slicing his arms off as it began forming a stylized windmill shuriken that was nearly disk shaped. He finally snapped.

"Listen, Li. I'll be honest with you. I don't give a fuck. I don't give a fuck about how ‘screwed we are' or how many ‘dimensions' you've created. Over the last year, your people have chased me out of my country, forced me into Kusa, made me live with talking animals, get blown up, navigate the temple of an ancient Bijuu, be cursed by said Bijuu, free Kirigakure no Sato from your kind, then free Fang from the NCIA, then finally kill the Raikage. It doesn't matter what the hell you throw at me anymore, it is NOTHING compared to what I've experienced in my ninja career. All I want to do is stop fighting, eat some fucking rice, and go off to live with the love of my life in a home of my own. If that means I need to tear every fiber of your being to pieces, past, present, and future, to get there, then by the grace of Fuujin there won't be PARTICLES left of you when I'm through with you, now SHUT-THE-FUCK-UP-!!”

".:Fuuton; ; Uzumaku Fuuten Shuriken :."

[Wind Release; Whirling Vertigo Shuriken]

As anger and frustration filled his expressions, he tossed the fully expanded shuriken at the man, the scroll within spinning at speeds the eye could not follow clearly. The wind was compressed enough to where it had the potential to lop off any one of the man's limbs if given enough provocation. Raz was counting on this, for he aimed at the past Li in particular, hoping to put him in a position where he would be forced to drop his staff. He assumed this staff was a large part of his power, if only due to the motions he used to make new portals with. Then, quickly, he released the kawanaga he had received from Warrusu when scaling Fang's walls. If the man's hand would come off, he'd quickly toss the hookshot to the staff, taking it into his own hands.

Raz's clone, on the other hand, managed to gain a brief reprieve while Li was monologing, allowing him to leap back into the fray once more. Deciding that it couldn't be possible to split one's self so many times without weakening the entire group, the clone decided it needed to assault the newly created Li in order to see how much it could take before crumbling. Wind began to spiral around it's hand, forming a seismic ‘drill' that spun around at dizzying speeds. Leaping backwards, the clone thrust it's arm forward with incredible force towards the man's body, hoping the drill might shatter the staff.

Effects:

~This jutsu may be used in long range or short range.

~This jutsu's element may not be changed by any opposing technique, skill, ect.

~If a response jutsu is used against this jutsu, it must be of the fire element. If not, it cannot be affected.

~Once a ninja is targeted, the direction of this jutsu cannot change to another ninja.

~No non-bloodline skills may reduce/negate the damage or effects of this jutsu.

~If this jutsu is utilized, and no opponent is hit, the user regains 25% of the chakra they used to pay for this jutsu.

~If this jutsu hits an opponent, it cannot be used for the remainder of battle. However, this jutsu can only be used twice per battle.

~If the terrain is ‘Strong Winds' this jutsu deals x1.5 damage. Also, only 75% of this justu must be paid.

~If used against an opponent that is surrounded in any form of barrier (IE: Cocoon of Sand, Rising Earth Wall, ect) this jutsu may bypass the barrier and damage the ninja within, unless the barrier is of the fire element. This effect activates regardless of what the barrier's effects are. Barrier must be of equal or lower level then this jutsu.

~Do not apply opponent's armor bonuses when attacking with this jutsu.

~If this jutsu is successful, the opposing ninja must roll a 100-sided die. On the roll of 1-25, the opposing ninja's arm is unusable for the duration of the battle. If a 26-50 is rolled, the opposing ninja's leg is unusable for the duration of battle.

After the battle, the opponent must recover in the hospital for 1 RL day having the leg re-attached. If the leg is not re-attached in 2 RL days, the leg can never be re-attached again

Description: Kinsen ‘Raz' Rasen's signature jutsu, and possibly the most destructive in his entire arsenal. One who attempts to utilize this jutsu must understand and master the wind on a transcended pinnacle, for one who does not cannot fully grasp the power of this technique. Utilizing his ability to mold chakra into any shape he wishes, Raz will channel all his chakra and emotions into his hand. Eventually, the jutsu will take form into what seems to be a gigantic shuriken in the grip of Raz's palm. The jutsu must be held away from the body, and their hand must be grasping the hole in the middle of the shuriken at all times, for the compressed air within makes the blades of the shuriken razor sharp, possibly strong enough to slice a diamond in half without even stopping. The shuriken looks different for every person who attempts to recreate the jutsu, due to the emotions and chakra strength that are compacted to create it. For Raz, the shuriken is massive in size, as well as the blades themselves being nearly unwieldy. The blades are shaped oddly, and each seems longer then he is tall. Red markings are seen within the compressed, pale green chakra, which is something he cannot particularly explain. When thrown, this jutsu makes a huge shredding sound, as the blades move at impossibly high speeds once released from the controlled area within the user's hand. The shuriken will cut through just about everything as it attempts to reach it's target, even growing in size depending on the speed of the current wind. The jutsu is quite sophisticated, the air molecules having the potential to phase through any form of barrier or armor that the user wills it to bypass; a true example of how skilled the user is at mastering the air. Upon contact with this jutsu, the razor edges can slice through the opposing ninja's appendages with ease, truly punishing foes for their resistance against this assault. Even if the jutsu happens to miss, the shuriken will ride the wind back towards the user, before subsiding into chakra, as the user absorbs it back into their tenketsu, in order to conserve their own chakra.

.:Fuuton; Doriru Bureka [Wind Release; Drill Breaker]:.

Type: Ninjutsu [Wind][Personal][Response]

Rank: Sennin

Cost: 450 or 1.5x [Where x = the damage/DP of the incoming attack, if used in the Response Phase.]

Damage: 300

Effects: Can be used in the Response and Main Phase. When used in the Main Phase, the ninja utilizing this jutsu, does 1.5x base damage if their speed is higher then the opponent‘s. If this jutsu is successful, you may destroy 1d9 pieces of the opposing ninja's armor. If the piece in question is indestructible, it cannot be used for the remainder of the battle. No barriers of any kind can be used against this jutsu unless the ninja is a rank higher then the user, however, if the barrier is of the earth, ice, or lightning element, it's destroyed regardless of the ninja's rank, and all the damage is carried over. Only a response phase jutsu of the fire element can reflect/negate the damage from this technique. If this jutsu is used in the response phase, the user's main phase is skipped, and this ninja completely avoids the incoming jutsu, regardless of what it's effects entail. If the jutsu is forbidden, this jutsu only has a 50% chance of success. Once this jutsu succeeds, the ninja is considered to be ‘underground' and is immune to all terrain effects and or anything that would effect them while they were above ground that makes logical sense. All attacks the opponent uses on this ninja must be ranged, and have a 15% of hitting, unless it is a jutsu of the earth element, in which case accuracy and evasion are calculated normally, as well as doing 1.5x base damage against the user. In addition, the ninja who is underground can only attack with earth jutsu, or other ‘drill' jutsu. The ninja may spend a setup phase returning back to the surface. While underground, the user is considered to be in the ‘Cave' terrain. Useable three times per battle.

Description: The evolution of Kinsen ‘Raz' Rasen's ‘Rezakiri' series, Doriru Bure-ka is leaps and bounds stronger then it's predecessor. Rather then allowing the air around his palm to simply compress and sharpen, Raz instead attempted to whirl the chakra into a spiral. The result; a large drill that covers the user's hand and forearm with the potential to break through almost any barrier imaginable. Using spiral momentum, the energy caused by the spinning drill will rise to the tip, magnifying it's power far past Rezakiri's capabilities. Not only does this jutsu have heavy offensive capabilities, but it also provides a unique variety of defensive choices as well. By producing the drill, the user can quickly dig a hole into the earth, escaping any incoming jutsu that might put the user in danger. This can put the user in quite an interesting position, their typical choices for an assault are limited, but their ambushes are drastically safer to preform. With such versatility, there are weaknesses that do befall it. While the ninja is underground, they are more vulnerable to earth jutsu, and their ability to see is somewhat diminished due to the low-light conditions.

[Rolled a 36 to dodge Drill Breaker; Hit]

As Raz would pull back a third Li would appear on the very outskirts of the battle, on a far roof as if to observe. The first two were both at the works as the shuriken was launched, and with a swing of their staffs from both a lare vortex would rip open directly between them and the attack, swallowing it whole. In the background of the vortex, for just a moment, Raz would be able to see a blue sky dotted with black dots, swimming around against the clouds. Just as soon though the portal would close and the attack would be gone with it. The thirds Li would disappear into a vortex as well as fast as he had appeared.

"Forward, aren't we?”, the present Li whom had been resurrected said with a wicked smile crawling across his face. The other would follow suite, but he had a clone approaching fast, his staff brought up between himself and the attack, the man's drill would connect with him, shattering right through the staff and tearing the man up and sending him flying backwards from the attack. The present Li would give a raised eyebrow and a short laugh.

"Now that is interesting.”

The past Li would slowly raise himself up, still alive but his clothes torn and bloody. Slamming two hands together he would disappear into a vortex, which popped into existence right on himself where his hands were clapped and pop back out a few moment's later with new clothing, a bandage around his arm and a new clean cut look. No new staff though.

The portal that had started this all was still churning, but it suddenly pulsed and flexed, becoming larger as if the constant vacuum action was causing it to tear into a larger and more powerful hole over time.

As Korin would enter the conversation with Brash and Nidori, L would come up from behind them and enter the small group, looking towards Brash for some kind of order. He looked exhausted, as if holding the portal had taken all the energy he had. Never the less he was still standing, and as such he was still able to talk and give directions. Before he could say a word though, the sky above would tear open with a large vortex, and from it would come a spiraling shuriken of wind, impossibly large and fast. It was high enough in the sky for time to react as it came barreling down on the village at an angle, directly towards the Kyoukage tower steps and a couple dozen civilians. Korin would likely recognize this attack immediately. Brash's first and only words about the situation would be simple.

"USE FIRE!”

ooc: This is free RP, so feel free to improvise. Just use logic, I'm not likely to say 'you can't do that' as long as it makes sense. You have about ten seconds IC time before it hits.

"Oh fuck me…”

The boy thought immediately as he watched his scroll go flying out the portal like garbage out a window. He felt distraught with annoyance for a moment, only to feel a glimpse of satisfaction as his drill pierced through the present Li's staff, and nearly straight through it's body. He watched unsurprised as he returned back to his normal health, but noticed something in particular; the staff did not return.

"That's interesting…alright, I've got one more test then…”

The boy muttered to himself, as his right hand rose in the air, creating a tightly closed fist. The past Li hadn't so much as suffered a single death thus far. Not only that, the staff he wielded also remained intact. There was simply one more ‘logical' ideal left. Kill the Li, destroy the staff. After all, if the past did not exist, then the future could not as well, right? He hoped this would be enough, he was getting tired of this game of whack-a-mole, as fun as it was to gut Li.

As his fist remained in the air, he began drawing all the strong winds in the area into another drill shape. However, not only did he use the strong winds he created, but he actually managed to manipulate the suction of the vortex into the drill as well. This caused it's sheer size and girth to increase tenfold, nearly peaking large enough to pierce the roof of the tower. The gales spun quickly, giving off an intense screeching sound, as he directed his fist forward and charged the past Li with all his might, the drill completely under his control.

Seconds hardly passed since her last question when an unnatural rift seared through the crow-specked sky. Like paper to the flame, the sky blackened and crumpled away to the emergence, leaving what looked like the eye of a needle peering down upon the earth-bound denizens- a stray eye of some cruel and domineering god. Silver like the whitish halo hazing the moon's borders, the strange god's will clawed through the gap and began it's violent plummet.

It was only when the distance closed between the people and the force of wrath that Korin identified the whirling dervish. At first, there was a sigh of relief- that Raz did not collapse to a demolished time. He was alive, fighting, but still alive. Then, as the trajectory became established, came panic. Korin's defensive earthen shells would not shelter the villagers from the destruction, and to cocoon herself in steel could meet the power of Raz's assaults but the friction of the impact would turn her titan form to ashes, or she'd get cleaved in two if she didn't melt first...

'Use fire!' Echoed in the frozen state of her mind as she hesitantly backed away. Fire? The only fire techniques she'd acquired were the gennin-rank ones she'd studied before things started falling apart. Before, there was no peril nor hardship. The girl had time and esteem to engage in new concepts without too much thought of repercussions or how many of her teammates would make it to the next day. Even so, what other option was there to take right here, right now? The treants formed a barricade before the villagers within the tower. A handful of sparks formed in her palms. ...Hotaru, Korin recalled the old jutsu. a dozen orbs of rippling flames scattered into to the air, little Davids of Israel fortified by faith and hope alone against a gale-forged Goliath. "It's all I got, sir."

They formed as rapid and as countless as ants in Korin's scorched palms, bursting in tiny explosions as they collided against the shuriken's force. The sky seemed to be alight with the hundreds of orbs igniting and succumbing. Leaning back on her heel, the girl's boots instantly propelled her dozens of yards airborne to create a barricade of flame between the village and the wind shuriken.

The heavens rippled and distorted before those who gazed upon it, before being breached by a mass of chakra. The cloud of blackbirds were no longer the priority; it wasn't two seconds before anyone who could've taken action had noticed the presence of such a potent and compressed sum of chakra. It neared their location at a ridiculous pace. Had it not appeared so far away; they'd have no time to react and possibly more than a few dead bodies on their watch.

An initially faint gradualy building whistling sound was picking up; Nidori's ears picking up the sound as blood and chakra rushed to his head, thereby enhancing his hearing. It was recognisable as wind natured chakra, but like nothing he'd ever encountered ever before. He hesitated in lifting his hands to form handseals to ward off the contained maelstrom heading towards them, feeling it would be a waste. Incidently, Brash's words became the guiding light in the time of near panic. Fire was indeed the answer; unfortunately, Nidori had nothing in his arsenal to use this information by himself.

Looking towards Korin who seemed to be digesting their only hope of averting the oncoming assault, Nidori had to devise a usefulness for his own abilities. Looking down at his half elevated arms he looked onto the nozzles that centred his palms. Closing his eyes for a second, he opened them with an idea, something that could help ensure the survival of Oto's children. While he could not add his own fire to qwell the beast, he'd be able to supplement whatever was already there.

As he resumed the gaze of his surroundings, he found himself opening his eyes to Korin taking position and subsequently leaping to the air seemingly to meet the tempest head on. Upon closer inspection she was reproducing a fire technique en masse. It seemed that her allegiance to Konoha did not equate to a knowledge of advanced level fire techniques. This however may have been the best conditions in which to put his plan into action.

He too took to the sky, pursuing Korin, there were orbs of flame combusting both upon contact with the shuriken and prior to contact, as Nidori neared Korin he placed his hands together; he was infact collating chakra in the tubing of his air pressure device and also in his chest; first collecting it in both arms, then forcing it into only his left. As he'd collected enough he'd found himself at the same elevation as the kunoichi though rising faster than her.

Forgive me...

He spoke as he placed his feet upon her shoulders. He used this leverage to push himself into a different trajectory, as to avoid a collision and ensuing deconstruction of his person. Instead he'd be alongside the shuriken, though several feet away laterally. At this time he held his left arm up with his right aiming it in the general direction of the maelstrom, took a deep breath and put the chakra he'd collected into effect. Each [unit] of chakra would extract oxygen from his body; after taking what he could from the breath, it would prey on the oxygen in the muscles surrounding his air pressure device. Though the majority would be oxygen, there was no doubt a supply of other gases naturally found in the body and in the air would be present. Nidori had flashes back to when he'd first had the implant fitted and the training that followed. His arms getting heavy due to him accidently absorbing the fuel for his muscles; it was once a habit of sorts, especially when expelling a zankuuha blast. He would have never guessed the usefulness of such a thing back then...

Nidori proceeded to launch his own gale; not at the shuriken however, but at the dozens o f 'Hotaru' in the air. The vault he'd performed off of Korin also would have put her out of the way of the impending chaos. As the stream of air was fired at the small flames, they grew exponentially and merged into stream of intense flame intersecting the shurikens path and a storm of fire that would also strengthen once the shuriken made contact and weaken it substantially.

Nidori knew in amongst this act that -at least- his arm, would be incapacitated for a while afterwards. He didn't even know if he could maintain conciousness once he disengaged and gravity took its course bringing him back down to earth. That all didn't matter at that moment however. People needed to be saved and he was there to do so.

"Fūton: Hato Kouzoku!!!"

(Wind Type: Flight of the Doves)

From Brash's side, the wind would pick up to a small gale, swirling upwards and taking the form of a dozen transparent birds, flapping winds and diving upwards towards the wall of flame which was erupting due to Nidori and Korin's combined attack. Just as the shuriken would strike the barrier, the doves would strike from the other side, giving the final thrust of fuel needed to completely obliterate the attack. With a loud eruption and engulfing of flames, the shuriken and the sound surrounding it would vanish and the flames would scatter across the sky over the crowd of villagers.

As the two would fall, 'L' would move with a graceful speed to catch Nidori as he fell towards the ground at his near unconscious state. He had obviously given the last of his strength to that attack, or at least enough to cause him to fall towards the ground like a rock towards the earth. Korin seemed to have been able to keep her bearings, but even so a few of the village men positioned themselves beneath the girl to catch her as she came back down.

Posted

As Nidori began his descent, the additional fuel to the fire launched from the ground ended what Korin and he had started. The threat was eliminated; his face slightly twitched as he attempted a smirk in acknowledgement of the crisis averted. As he done so he felt himself slip out of conciousness, his eyes rolling back into his skull; the incomplete technique he'd used had taken its toll, it felt as though he'd taken oxygen directly from his brain. There was a slightly blissful sensation, he was light headed; he drifted into a dream for a second before being swept up by a familiar face. 'L', who Nidori'd figured was his #1 fan must have sensed the trouble he was in just to dive in to prevent the coming fall.

As the two landed, Nidori felt another rush to his head, the circulation of blood was working to regulate the oxidation of his muscles. Feeling slightly awkward with 'L' carrying him he shuffled until he was free of her grasp before speaking

Thanks... I, owe you... Must I only address you as 'L'?

He stood facing her for that moment, his left arm hanging limp by his side, it'd take the most tiime to heal. He'd not used the totality of his chakra store though that would need time to regenerate also.

Nidori turned his head, scanning his immediate area for Korin and noticing the group of men that had prepared to catch her; whether or not they did wasn't clear as Nidori's vision hadn't completely cleared up. As he breathed heavily, not laying too much emphasis on what he'd asked 'L', he then looked towards Brash, lifting his head and making an expression as if to say "What the hell was that?". He was probably the only one of the four who wasn't clear on where or who the attack originated from.

The orbs seemed infinite as they left her palms- chakra reserves dripping away only through pinholes. As she glanced downwards to hope these hundreds of burning orbs alarm fluttered across her features as Nidori closed the distance between them. The girl felt the chill of cold sweat as the white-haired shinobi neared- the apprehension on her face was hardly concealed. And then with just two words he departed, sending her veering back towards the ground. Bewildered, she fell until the velocity wrung her stomach sick. Arms out, feet kicking beneath her, the girl's boots emitted a loud whoosh of air before blinking her a few yards upwards again to soften her fall. She braced chakra about her arms, creating resistance to slow her descent.

And during this, Korin watched the progress of the defense- Nidori fanned and fed the flames to engulf the shuriken, a grand collision with the charge of silver birds, and a singed, tense silence. Flame flickers, smoke, and ashes mingled with the swirling crows to fade into the blackness. And just like that, it ended. Strong arms caught her fall and cradled her for a moment until she told her feet to seek the ground again. Adrenaline made her knees tremble, eyes widen, jaw clench.

The trees, adamant to their given duties, ceased moving. Their gnarled and gruesome features hardened and stilled before the bent over, bodies returning to the earth.

Korin uttered a dazed thank you as she took a few stumbling steps. She brushed her hair with her fingers, roughly yanking out strands from the tangles. Her eyes fell on Nidori's weakened form and she urged herself towards him. The girl herself was fine- just shaken from the events. You must, she told herself as her steps seemed to become leaden. The prone headless forms of Kirro and Taj, once repressed, filled her vision. Their bodies were white and cold, and bruise purple where the blood settled. You must, she insisted. Kirro and Taj bought her escape with their lives. What should she do with it? Before her was resolution- what would they have wanted? Forgiving is easier than forgetting; that Korin had long known. For their sakes, she must let their memories rest in knowing that old camaraderie had been reestablished.

Hands pooling with chakra, Korin tentatively approached Nidori. The lightness in her palms reached out to his left arm. Unsure of the mechanism in her arms, the girl sent a network of chakra across the skin, stimulating a quicker regeneration. Unlike Nidori, Korin had yet to find a response. She avoided eye contact and moved deliberately. A bluer trickle of light formed on the tip of her index finger, and the concentrated chakra burst in a shower of sparks to absorb into Nidori's chakra coils.

"That was Raz's jutsu. But the portal…” Stopping there, a swift searching glance to Brash.

The sensation that came with the localised exhaustion of his arm and left-most area of his chest felt almost surreal, as though they were not there. The nerves surrounding his heart and respiratory organs were slightly more alert at this time however, allowing him to feel every convulsion his heart would go through to pump out blood; he felt as though he could feel his blood oxidise, it was a thought in the back of his mind as he stood there alongside 'L'. The pain was dull, yet it intensified with every beat of his heart. He'd need rest, his body was struggling to function, as though it was redistributing its own intrinsic energy sources thinly around and in itself.

It was then as he looked towards his senior Oto-nin that he felt a new sensation take hold of him; literally. Turning his head sharply as though it was some form of defence in it self, he found his limp arm in the clutch of Korin. His face fell blank, almost growing pale. The surprise was hard to subside, without restraint his jaw would've have bluntly dropped but he held back such unsubtle reactions, he closed his eyes for a couple of seconds.

Korin, I never forgot your name. In honesty I'd have figured the next time we'd meet you'd be out for my blood... He couldn't yet speak his mind, the girl had clearly fought a battle within to even approach him, her actions were a testament to her will.

He accepted her salve of chakra, its tactility was cooling, an enveloping and overall calming aura despite the girl's attitude or judgement of Nidori. He didn't know much of medical techniques, but he savoured this one, as it seemed not only an act of medical aid, but a gesture of sorts he wasn't as numb as to be ignorant to that fact. on the other hand he was not to assume too much, he ay have gained respect but not friendship, not by his reckoning.

Though not instantly, as the technique took affect, the regeneration of chakra accelerated, becoming much more efficient in the process. The near-numbness in his arm quickly dissipated allowing full mobility before long, Nidori displaying as such by lifting his arm and flexing his fingers.

Listening to Korin, the shuriken being Rasen's gave a Nidori a slight chill, he's strong, before realising and questioning privately what he must be up against. Not only did what or rather whoever he was fighting 'erase' the attack from their own battle, but he was able to introduce it through portal to the real Oto? Even at the people they'd recovered? Though it sounded ridiculous, the reality of it wasn't in question. The figure heading the Oto branch of the NCIA was Rasen's opponent. Looking again towards Korin as he opened his eyes again, he saw her looking to Brash, who'd hopefully have something helpful to say.

not sucked

Hakkai looked around as Raz completely flipped shit. Hakkai was proud of his student. He, just like Hakkai himself, did not enjoy it when people talked out of their ass about something no one wanted to know. But Hakkai knew one thing about time.

That was that time should never be altered for the changes could be dramatic. The Li from the present was able to fully recover himself in the blink of an eye. Hakkai saw Raz attack the older Li, from the past. Hakkai understood what was going on.

Hakkai ran towards the new Li, behind Raz's attack, with his sword held strongly in his right hand. Hakkai, however, stopped way before Raz's attack was actually near the Li. Hakkai raised his sword into the air in an almost triumphant fashion. A smile came across his face as he looked the past Li dead in the eyes. He said outloud, "Kill a butterfly in the past and drastically change the future. A basic concept on time Li. Too bad you talk too fucking much to understand that.”

Lightning clouds surrounded above Hakkai's head. It was very rapid, as if Hakkai were controlling weather itself. Then, a massive lightning bolt came down and struck Hakkai. His eyes lit up as he felt the raw energy of lightning surging through his body. It was euphoric. All of his muscles were numb but he could feel every watt of energy in his body. His sword became heavy over his head. Not because the sword weighed more, but because Hakkai's muscles were relaxing and being torn a little. His eyes, glowing with a raw power of nature, began to dim. Like he told the young Uchiha boy, he could not control lightning. Only collect and direct. But then again, he could always add his own.

The lightning in his body escaped through the sword and seemed to reach forever into the skies. Hakkai trusted the sword downward at Li, hoping to finally finish this long battle.

"Tenjoukai Higyou”

Celestial World Strike

Celestial World Strike (Tenjoukai Higyou)

Type: Ninjustu/Taijustu (Lightning; Personal; Sealess)

Rank: Sennin

Cost: 300 Stamina + 300 Chakra

Damage: 700

Effects: This takes up the user's next set-up phase. Apply both Ninjustu and Taijustu mods to damage and also both the opponent's defense and resistance. Justu Element may not be changed by anything. This technique may not be copied.

Description: Possibly one of the most powerful offencive justu anyone can have. Hakkai takes a sword and raises it into the air. Clouds begins to form above Hakkai as the sword collects lightning and lightning is given into the sword by his own chakra. As enough lightning is summoned into the sword, it is compressed into the sword. Hakkai then points the sword behind him as the electricity extends into a sword that seems to go on forever and is several feet wide. The green electric sword is then swung upwards into the air and then the massive sword is thrusted downwards at the opponent.

Requirement: Must have Lightning as Primary Personal Element; Must have a sword-type weapon in use in order to use said technique

Note: May be inscribed onto a scroll, but the scroll only takes up the chakra half of the justu. The stamina cost must still be paid.

Points: 11 (Personal Element: 10)

700+(2000/20*5) = 1200 damage

((I guess I can't do math)) 305% + 10% for Lightning element = 315% to hit

The past Li would lift his staff towards the space before himself, the perfectly molded sun and moon of the staff swirling around as a vortex of energy appeared before the younger man, just at the tip of his drill. The boy, unless he could stop on a dime, would find himself facing the opposite direction, all his momentum heading the wrong way. At the same time, the past Li would turn to meet the attack from Hakkai, his eyes widening as the gigantic blade of lightning would come swinging towards him, all along the present Li did not move a muscle, instead watching the events with a bit of interest in his eyes.

[Past Li takes 1000 Damage]

As the present Li would take the attack, he would find himself severely cut, and thrown back by the force, soaring across the battlefield and slamming hard into a nearby building, breaking through the wall and landing in a pile of rubble. The shear force of Hakkai's attack was immeasurable, but as Li would pull himself from the building, not dead but heavily damaged, the two would notice that the man's staff had been broken as well, laying on the ground in two pieces.

"Basic concept of time.", present Li would say, his eyes brightening up and his smile widening maniacally. The past Li, a seemingly shock of realization washing over his face as it turned white, would look down towards his staff and then up towards his present self with what appeared to be horror. The present Li would raise an arm and point directly towards the past version of himself. Without any hesitation a direct bolt of concentrated lightning would be released from the man's fingertips, striking the other directly through the chest faster than the eye could catch. The past Li, his eyes still alive which shock would fall to the ground like a rag doll, blood staining the rocks around where he was struck down and the stink of burning flesh and hair would fill the area. The man was dead before he hit the ground.

The present Li, waiting a moment, would give a few seconds before his eyes would brighten up with a realization beyond that of anything he had ever seen. Laughing aloud he would turn his gaze towards Hakkai, laughter ringing in his tone of voice. "Concepts are just hypothesis's. These are RESULTS."

-----

The sky above the ninja would continue to be dotted with new crows, the villagers seeing these crows now and pointing upwards. They would start to panic, screams being heard as they associated the crows here with the ones in the other dimension. As they started to spread, heading towards buildings for shelter and alleys the streets would only take a few moments to clear. Left standing on the streets would be only the four. Brash, 'L', Nidori and Korin. 'L' would smile at Nidori politely as she had let him down, nodding.

"You can call me Leira if you want. Resumo Leira. Most everyone including my brother over there just calls me 'L'.", the light blonde haired girl would say, nodding towards Brash as she did.

Brash would nod as Korin mentioned Raz's attack, taking in that information. "I was not aware Raz had such an advanced attack at his disposal, but if you say so then that must mean he is fighting... somewhere. How to get to him is another question, if we even can or should. The crows are gathering, and there are only four of us along with the patrol teams on the outside of the village. They should be heading towards us as we speak due to that wind shuriken...."

Brash would trail off as a flash of blue and purple light would be heard behind them in the Kyoukage's tower. Turning towards the door voices could be heard, and Brash, breathing heavily now would turn towards Nidori, Korin and Leira as if to say 'check it out'

Posted

Of course, wielding such a large, phallic, and heavy weapon, it was impossible for Raz to stop on a dime. He quickly found himself drilling in the opposite direction, breaking a hole in one of the walls of the tower. He jerked his head around quickly to see if Li was pursuing, but instead, Hakkai managed to take out his staff. A grin of victory overtook expression, quickly swapped with one of confusion and shock. The present Li had murdered it's past self. What would that possibly mean?

That was another theory that went straight out the window. Raz drew a blank as to what he could possibly do now. He had already fried Li a couple times, and it was becoming more and more apparent that simple ninja techniques would not defeat this man. Unless of course, he was immortal somehow.

While he hoped to Fuujin this was all a simple theory, the likelihood if it being true was far too likely now that even removing himself from the past had no concequences. His eyes darted around the room quickly, overlooking the portals, scanning any means of signs that may give him insight into a way he could turn this battle around, or atleast trap Li somewhere for eternity.

Posted

Raz would notice that the portal that was dragging them towards it did not in fact have the same sky and tower within it that would be expected, as that was where Raz had come through the first time. Instead, there was a clear blue sky, clouds moving at a normal, realistic, rate with what seemed to be dozens of black dots against the blue canvas of the sky.

With another swirling vortex centered on himself, Li would disappear, only to reappear a moment later as two versions of himself, both without staffs and both with apparently the same appearance as when Li had just vanished.

"Shall we continue?"

[Plagued with homework since I don't make smart decisions! Short post like old times. ;DDD]

Korin's hands stiffly hung at her sides after all had been done. They balled into white-knuckled fists to ward off the trembling of some emotion of a past time. It could've been anger or angst- Korin could not decipher the feeling that made even the ground feel uncertain. Her shinobi way [if it could even be called that, being augmented and bent so much] was what told the girl to aid Nidori- but her heart, her heart was split.

With the cue from Brash, Korin immediately proceeded. The tension already ran high in her body, and within bounds, she was at the tower's threshold. She crossed herself with the chakra shield once more for good measure before cautiously entering.

Nothing in particular gave Raz any obvious hints as to what he should do in this situation. This was frustrating to him; usually he could wing something and for the most part it'd come out for the best. It's how he got this far in the first place. Now that he had watched several of his attacks become thwarted due to Li's incredible control over space and time, the boy felt like he was fighting in a small corner.

"I guess we're kind of pinned here…as much as the possibility of us fighting Li here for eternity would protect Oto, I really wanna sleep…”

The boy thought to himself, exhaustion tugging at his eyelids, his bones crying out in despair as he continued to push himself far past what any human should have endured. After the Raikage's death, he was certain he'd get a chance to sleep. His body was woken up abruptly by Brash's call to arms. It couldn't be helped though, it needed to be done.

Raz's eyes focused on the portal behind him that desperately attempted to drag him into the void. It was diffrent then what he had entered by, the sky moving as it usually was, with the exception of the black dots fluttering in the background. Suddenly, a thought sparked in his mind, something Li had said earlier.

"Within this domain its easy for me to bend and manipulate this space. Time travel between Oto two and Oto three is a seamlessly easy task when you put your mind to it."

Suddenly it occured to Raz that the man might not have meant that in a total literal sense. Right now he was within his own domain, and inside of it, he could do whatever he wished, even yank himself from several diffrent points in time. What if he was removed from his domain though, back into the real world? Would he have any more power? Raz could only hope the portal behind him would lead into the real world, as he'd need to move quickly.

Raz quickly burst forward at Li, making it look like he was attempting to get within range to strike all past and future versions of him at once. However, just as he'd come within a couple yards worth, he twisted his wrist quickly, his kawanaga fluttering out of his sleeve gracefully. Using the wind to guide it, the boy tossed it at the true Li, and circled it around his body quicker then one could do without the aid of chakra. However, incase Li might have actually been able to out manuever this, Raz had insurance.

The clone that was observing from the corner quickly began preparing handseals for a Body Freeze jutsu. Just as the kawanaga would begin to wrap around Li, he'd cast the jutsu, attempting to completely immobilize Li into place, while the original Raz would yank back as hard as he could, letting both of them fly off into the portal behind him. If this failed, however, Raz made sure to prepare his wings in the worst case scenario.

As Korin would approach the door, she would push against the threshold and the door would pull its from the other side. Within would be a group of a dozen or so shinobi, all with the mark of Otogakure no Sato upon their headbands. They would let out a sigh of relief and confusion, and the man at the door would speak roughly towards the foreign shinobi.
