Underneath the vest is a black jacket made from leather that he bought a few years ago to keep himself warm and protect it from wear. It is covered from scratches and other gruff from travel, so much so that the left arm is patched and sewn on the elbow. He prefers jeans and will wear them when he can carry them in his pack, but his pants change regularly from blue and black jeans to normal cloth pants if that is all he can find. To hold back his hair Baro will use a bandanna in place of his protector, the bangs hanging over the folded red cloth. -Physical Description: Baromosa has a light complexion underneath dark brown bangs, his face now slender and sharply pointed at his age of 23. All of the "baby fat" from his days of living well have slowly been burned off from his travels abroad on foot, and his body frame maintains his thin and agile look as he has always had from his long legs and the bottom ribs that stick out from his lower chest. Light hair covers his arms almost like a dusting of dirt, barely darkening his forearm at all, and catching a glimpse of his chest would reveal little to no chest hair over his lightly defined muscles. The most noted feature is Baro's bright face, accented with the lightly colored amber eyes that fill with emotion and a thin lipped smile that can be seen to smirk or grin with humor. Baromosa Posted December 29, 2010 Author Posted December 29, 2010 (edited) \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Accessing Psychological Profile... \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Personality: Now as a young adult of 23, Baromosa has changed since his experiences as a shinobi. Wandering and writing has been a very lonely experience, and Baro has to constantly remind himself to keep a smile and a laugh when he is socializing. He has not lost his compassion and brightness though, and though he has endured travel for many years still stops to lend a hand to a stranger and to keep himself as pleasant company. His sense of responsibility is the real casualty of his life, having not kept a job steady for a long time and retaining the ability to move along without anyone depending on him. Baromosa has also kept little contact with his parents, making it unlikely that his sense of duty is as strong as it once was, but his travel back towards the hidden village he was born in might detect a sign of growing maturity. When sad or angry Baro is quick to show it in his responses and on his face. He is an emotional person and not a very quiet one, but he will grow quiet when he writes and concentrates on tasks, though other than that he will speak his mind. Known Quirks: Bites bottom lip often, singing voice is apparently tone deaf. Preferences: - Long, bladed weapons. - Beef dishes with a side of carrots. - Action novels with a romance subplot - Dark haired women - Floral patterns - Forest green or viridian green colors - Warm summers nights - Formal dressed occasions \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Accessing Biographical Information... \\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\ Current Allegiance: Konohagakure Relationships: -Parent(s): Kinamoto Jaden and Kinamoto Sakura -Sibling(s): None -Significant Other(s): None Currently -Pet(s): None -Teacher(s): First Jounin: "Soujiro" -Friend(s): None Known Pre-Military History: Baromosa's parents met as young ninjas in the academy at Konohagakure. While his father was training to become a doctor, Baro’s mother was trying to become a respectable Kunoichi scout. They fell in love over their gennin years and managed with difficulty to see each other over their careers and many assignments. At a young age they became engaged, but did not actually marry until the fall of 2091, and had their son the spring of the following year. Baro's father name was Kinamoto Jaden, and delivered his wife's baby himself since he was an accomplished doctor and a Jounin by the time Baromosa was born. The happy mother's name was Kinamoto Sakura, who as far as records show never passed her Chuunin exam officially, but became sort of an "actting chuunin" when the village was short on help or in need. She was a very talented shinobi but had great difficulty settling down and keeping focus. After Baro was born, her focus in life became her son completely and she all but retired her shinobi life. This left it up to Jaden to keep up the primary income for the family, and Sakura stayed home with Baro and Jaden's father who lived with them at the Kinamoto family home. As Baromosa grew he became very polite and reserved like his father acted around patients and at home. Jaden's time around his son was limited, as he was always being called away unexpectedly for emergencies and the medical needs of the people around him. The respect everyone seems to show to Jaden was observed by his son however, and though their time together was spaced out Baromosa made his mother laugh at the ways he would try to copy him. Baro was compassionate about people who had difficulty or didn't feel well, seeing an elderly person who needed help crossing a road like a “patient” and treating them kindly as such. This kindness for people would carry through most of his life in different ways, tying in to a sense of duty to the unfortunate. His life at home on a daily basis was as well as most shinobi families. Baro attended school during his youth and did fairly well in his classes. At home he would spend a lot of time with his grandfather outside, taking long walks with him and learning about nature from the old Kinamoto. The time spent with his mother was mostly indoors where he learned to read and write from her, as well as loved asking her to tell him stories. Sometimes the stories would be the simple made for children ones, but every so often Sakura would use one of her and her husband's adventures instead, and those were the ones that became Baro's favorites. Other days might be spent in the village with other children, usually under the grandfather's watchful eye. Baromosa wasn't a very troublesome child, but if he did make a careless mistake his grandfather helped show him how to apologize and take responsibility for his actions. His gentleness in guiding Baro was one reason he had a good relationship with him, the old shinobi known as Kinamoto Yasuo. Unfortunately Yasuo would only be in Baro's life during his childhood, because when Baro was 15 Konohagakure was attacked and overrun by Kumogakure in 2107. During the fighting that took place in the city, Yasuo fought for the cities defense while Jaden was at the hospital dealing with causalities. As the fighting became hopeless and those who would not surrender were forced to withdrawal or be killed, Yasuo was one of the shinobi who refused to flee. Cornered and surrounded by invading Kumo-nin soldiers, Yasuo fell to their greater numbers and his old age. Thankfully for Baromosa and his mother, they were seen as civilians since Sakura had given up the shinobi way long before and did not join in the fighting with the others. Instead, she continued to live in the city, keeping her son safe while Konohagakure fell into the jurisdiction of martial law. Baromosa's father, Jaden, surrendered himself to the enemy and still served as a doctor in the city, now responsible for the health of the newly formed NCIA soldiers and other residents of the city. These were dark times for Baro, mourning his grandfather's death and though he had been nearly ready to graduate from the academy did not choose to enroll in the now forming NCIA academy in Konoha. He could not bring himself to receive his education in the service of those who slew Yasuo and now kept his home under an iron fist. Practice of ninjutsu and the shinobi arts were heavily restricted however, and not joining the NCIA meant to give up being a shinobi all together. Sakura understood the need to protect her son well, but also understood the conflict in her son's eyes as he dealt with what was happening around him. To try to help make his sheltering easier, she agreed to help train him secretly and discreetly in basic exercises that would keep Baromosa fit for real training later on in his life. She kept Baro behind closed doors as they practiced meditation and chakra movement, teaching her son what she could about ninjutsu on an intellectual level rather than practical. This helped to hold back Baro's appetite for knowledge, but it would not keep him satisfied forever. Baromosa wanted to revenge his grandfather, help free his village, and save his dad from working for what he thought as the villains of this world. It would be more than two years after the invasion of Konoha before Baro would have his fateful opportunity to leave the village. Noted Event: Exodus From Konoha Over the next two years Baromosa had taken to exploring Konoha by himself between lessons with his mother and helping around the house. He was becoming a young adult and getting ready to leave his childhood behind, and it was getting harder to ignore the fact he couldn't wait much longer to leave the village. Discontent was brewing in the village, and Baro has even heard rumors of a resistance rising in the city. Unfortunately Baromosa never made the right contacts to ever bring him in to the ranks of the rebels, or perhaps he could have been more useful in the events to come. In 2109, the resistance made a play to try to free the village in a daring act of rebellion. Baromosa was taken by surprised completely, after all the rumors of the resistance to him were starting to just become rumors. The entire event made Baro feel rather small, and if he could he would have lent a hand but as it was he could not. He didn't even have combat experience, let alone any way to know what the resistance was planning. It did present the motivation to make a break from the village however, and after the resistance failed in it's attempt, Baromosa grew the courage in his heart to make the escape. The night he chose was a rainy evening, not by his plan but by fate's guiding hand. He took a path off the rooftops and into the trees, using the basic transformation technique to make himself into a black wild cat to sleek through the night. It didn't take him long to meet two knew ninja in the woods that night, a younger boy who also decided to venture into the woods against the curfew, and a mysterious older man who seemed to spot Baro instantly despite his attempts to hide in the trees. The man asked if they felt associated to the NCIA. Saying that he wasn't Baro would be lead to run out of the village with haste with the younger boy, only to be confronted by a NCIA scout. Baro and the young ninja slew him to make good their escape, and meet the older man on the other side. The old man would become Baromosa's first Jounin teacher and inductor into the shinobi resistance, his name was Soujiro. Their first sparks into the Will of Fire was their escape to Kinomi no Toshi and began new lessons with Soujiro. They had successfully left a village that was under lockdown, not a small feet for raw recruits. But their success would be balanced out with misfortune, in the massacre that would take place in the rape of Kinomi no Toshi. Noted Event: Kinomi no Toshi Probably the most traumatic day in Baromosa's career as a gennin in the resistance was the NCIA raid on Kinomi no Toshi. Hyuuga Mizumono had gone to the village of berry farmers, but had been followed my trackers of the enemy. As a result, a large force of NCIA agents and soldiers demanded the town hand over the defector, and soon raided the entire town with fire and brute force. Baromosa was just one of many young shinobi trapped in the confusion, a night that was supposed to be a festival of fun and in safety. Mizumono escaped, ending his pursuers with a massive explosion of conjured sakura blossoms from his mystic blade, and explosion that also caught Baromosa. Shredded to pieces by the razor sharp blossoms, Baro fell to the flowers and was rescued by his mentor Soujiro. The town was turned into ruins, and the people Baro has met in hi time their slaughtered. His exodus from the city and his time with Soujiro after that changed the outlook of the young and upcoming shinobi though. He saw medical ninjutsu first hand, the same ninjutsu that saved his life from the wounds and trauma of the raid. This experience made Baro pursue learning to be a first aide provider, and he eventually taught himself the basics of medical ninjutsu as he strengthened his own chakra control. Though he was always more of a defender and a warrior, his subset of medical skills would become handy in the months to come. Noted Event: Joining the Resistance -ERROR!- Error Code 225: Operation failed because the needed file contains a virus. Recovering... Noted Event: The Battle of Nigiyakashufu Baromosa was present in the fighting in the Country of the Fang, and served as both a medic and a soldier on the field of battle. When he left Iwa, he boarded a giant airship that would carry them over, assisting in keeping the fires lit that kept the ship afloat. Then when he was on land, he was ordered to assist a train station that would become a field base of operations for the rest of their assault into the city and surrounding area. It was a difficult thing to travel the city and make his way their, but with cunning and deception Baromosa caused trouble with disguise and a few flasks of oil to light NCIA emplacements on fire. After the first phase of invasion, Baromosa was brought to a set up medical camp where he assisted healing some of the wounded and met many other shinobi of other nations. Among the new ninja were two in particular that caught his attention from Suna, Akiyo and Kodate. The then 17 year old Baromosa was taken by their techniques they demonstrated, and they by his curious nature. In the short time he spent with them and with a spar with Kodate, Baromosa took an interest in elements other than fire. After the spar he would take some time trying to learn what he could from the desert pair, but knew that it would take another master to explain to him the significance of elements. The real battle was about to begin however, and Baromosa was sent with Kodate and Akiyo and other shinobi to meet the front lines of the NCIA head on. Baro drew his sword and entered group combat for a while until he was pushed back away from the lines by strong captains that he could not contend with in martial skill. Other more powerful resistance members assisted to bring the fight to better terms while the legends of the ninja world confronted the Raikage on a different field. The combat done by the main forces gave them time, and the losses taken by the NCIA were growing. Baro and his squad were separated towards the end of the battle, entering single combat with an experienced Kohashi ninja. It was a long battle, and it seemed that Baromosa would fall here but with one final effort and the will of fire in his heart Baro unleashed an uncontrolled blast of fire ninjutsu, burning himself severely but destroying his opponent in one hit. Blood has soaked his clothes, but this was the battle that Baromosa was awarded a Chuunin vest and a field promotion to that rank. He had fought hard for it, and earned a place among the resistance and eventually the returned village of Konoha. Current History: It is known that in 2111, Kinamoto Baromosa left the service of the Konoha shinobi despite a promising career for personal reasons. Though it is not known if the village allowed him to leave or if he simply left without notice, he spent time abroad in the land of fire and other places around its borders. Kinamoto Baromosa authored a couple paperback books in his more than four years away from shinobi life. The most successful of his books was a set of four small short stories based loosely on his own life as a ninja. They covered his escape from Konoha under Kumogakure control, the attack on Kinomi no Toshi, his journey to Iwa and the resistance, and finally climaxing at the battle of Nigiyakashufu. Many people enjoyed seeing what the end of the war looked like through a young man's eyes, and Baromosa simply enjoyed using his talents as a writer to tell the tale. In his travels Baro is known to keep a small leather journal with him, perhaps working on other book ideas as he wanders the world. Recently, he has been reported by observers to be traveling into the interior of the Land of Fire towards the hidden village. Apparently, he wishes to end his self imposed exile. Whether the village will accept his return or not remains to be seen. Edited December 29, 2010 by Baromosa
