Appearance

 

Hair: Although once a vibrant sapphire blue, Mio has recently dyed her hair to be a blonde color with brown highlights. It is at present shoulder length, with bangs that cover the entirety of her right face.

Eyes: Mio’s eyes are light blue, but have a tendency to darken slightly when her emotions run high.

Weight: 116 lbs

Skin: Mio is fair skinned, though her body is covered in many superficial remnants of scrapes and bruises, particularly below the waist.

Description: Mio stands at a reasonable height for her age, bearing little intimidation from others. Her muscle mass is miniscule, having a considerable more toned physique than anything remotely bulky, but she is certainly not as physically weak as she appears. A considerable amount of her strength lies in her legs, which are a more accurate match than her upper body. She has just above shoulder length blond hair parted at the side and combed so that some of it covers her left eye. Otherwise, she usually sports it as a ponytail.

 

Her attire consists of a sleeveless net top that stops slightly before the waist. On top of this, she wears a short sleeve open black jacket with a large pale blue stripe along the bottom edge. On the back of the jacket is what was once her family emblem: a light blue petal landing upon a body of water. The jacket is held together by three strings at the front. She wears blood red shorts, which stop just above the knee and a large black belt, at the back of which hangs the pouch she keeps her ninja tools in. She wears a variation of the standard shinobi shoes which cover her toes. She also wears net clothing on her forearms and net socks which reach to just below the knee. Mio is rarely seen without her hat, which has been altered to give it ears, eyes and a mouth to resemble a cat, all the while taking the metal plate of her forehead protector and attaching it to the brim.

Personality: Mio seems to act slightly immature for her age, which is thought to be since she had no parents to guide her through her early years. She possesses a childlike enthusiasm and kindness many have lost by the time they reach her age. Aya strives to always be helpful, even to those she doesn't really get along with. She is slightly afraid of expressing her true feelings, often acting the same to anyone, be they friend or foe, but her true friends can pick up on the slight differences in the way she acts so they are not offended. Aya is extremely thin skinned, although she would never let you know, she is crushed by taunts and insults. For this reason she tries to make friends with everyone she meets, but keeps a select few best friends.

 

Mio’s favorite pastime is writing, she doesn't care what she writes as long as she is writing, because of this her handheld diary is filled with random thoughts and short stories.

 

Mio has one major flaw in her character, she can rarely trust anyone older than her unless they can prove themselves to be worthy of that trust, though that doesn’t mean she’s disrespectful, as she’s always receptive to teachings or .

Backstory

 

Mio was born into the Suzuki family as a perfectly normal baby. She was doted on by her parents, who were both ninjas, for the first year of her life. One day they decided to request some time off and go on a vacation, and neglected to mention to anyone where their destination was. They took Mio with them, and they never returned. No one knew where they had disappeared to or what anyone could have wanted with them, but gone they still were. Though the disappearance of an entire family sparked a massive search, no sign of Mio or her parents was found.

 

Six years passed, and Mio was long thought dead. One cold morning, however, Aya walked through the village gates, barefoot and in torn, ragged clothing. In her arms was a small, scarred black kitten with patches of fur missing from his body, who she had named Kuro. She was questioned extensively, but with little success - she had amnesia. She had woken up in a clearing the day before, and could remember nothing earlier. There were only a few clues to what had happened. Something also seemed to have happened to her that mentally scarred her, scars so deep that they lasted through her amnesia. They left her a strange, quiet child, one with an immense distrust of everyone around her and a deeply hidden fear of betrayal.

 

Aya did not complain or refuse when she was sent to live with a family, but she certainly did not treat them like family. She rarely ever talked to them, and spent most of her time reading complicated books or practicing jutsu that should have been far above her level. For some reason (which she never explained to anyone, of course) she seemed determined to become a ninja. She showed up at the academy regularly and excelled wonderfully in all types of jutsu. Her teachers were worried about her inability to work with others, but her talent in other areas was too great for her to be failed.

 

As she progress through her days at the Academy, she had slowly opened up more than one had ever seen her before. It was unfortunate that her friends couldn't see her change. Around the time when Kumo invaded the Leaf village, she simply hide from the midst of the fighting, examining the current situation with a variety of emotions she would have never held if she still been alone, these feelings including remorse and hatred towards these invaders. Though strangely awed by their power, she still didn't feel what they were doing was just, even if it would benefit the civilians in the forthcoming. After escaping from the village with several other Konoha-nin, she decides to utilize this time to reflect upon herself, how she should change for the better in terms of personality and such, hone in on her skills while possibly gaining a few additional ones, as well as decide whose side should she join.

 

Years had passed since, and the young kunoichi was doing rather well considering the finally fallen Kumo Empire. She had been living with some other Konoha-nin for the time being, committing acts from time to time in the name of the Resistance. It was shaping up to her having accomplished all that she had set out to do, except the most crucial task amongst them all. Although she felt little to nothing for her respective village before, she had believed she owed it to her village to contribute in restoring it to its former glory, a brief recollection of memories of her Academy friends and adoptive family flashing through her mind. Unsure of whether or not her decision was right or not, no one could change her mind now, including herself.

Really well done sheet. As a new member this is quite impressive to be honest.

 

My only point would be, your Path of the Pupil, you have the summoning contract skills what what not, but then you have medical jutsu and medical skills. Just curious if you were going more on the medical shinobi side, if so Path of the Medic would be a more viable choice. Or, if you continue on the summon path, they are quite strong, if you feel like making them in the summon creation thread. 

 

Just a food for thought about having to much scattered skills in several areas, not that a jack of all trades is bad  but focusing on 1-2 things might be more potent then focusing on too many.

 

Other then that, I cannot approve these creations. But Stats are fine, skills and jutsu all add up.
