This technique makes use of some of the more common striking styles in Kumogakure no Sato, but incorporates the power of the yokai sealed within him to prey on the weaknesses that it generates, and most of all, requires contact with one of tetsuos weapons and the enemy for the real fun to begin, because upon contact with his swords he uses them in an almost needle like fashion to inject his tainted chakra into their bodies, triggering the illusion to rear its course. Which it certainly does, it brings out the enemies worst fears, and often at the very end, a red eyed almost vampiric figure will appear before them, his body pourous and shape changing, until a hell hounds face forms out of the darkness, its skin covered with hundreds of red eyes all focused on one thing, the enemy. And causing as much terror as they can, Gakiyumes playthings Tetsuo liked to call them. Rhapsody Posted February 25, 2017 Posted February 25, 2017 (edited) So on the first one it's 60 stamina for a possible +4% to crit. Second one is 100 for a possible 6%... Seems fine. You could probably come down in cost a bit since you are over paying and it's conditional. However, weapon technique rules state that the size of the weapon needs to be in the tags so that will need to go in. Edited February 26, 2017 by Rhapsody
cntrstrk14 Posted March 4, 2017 Posted March 4, 2017 320 Damage — 160 CP Weapon Technique — 40 CP +4% Chance to Crit — 16 CP [Cost of the Jutsu] * (2x/100), where x is equal to the percent critical increase. Since the chance to critical is dependent on the opponent having a status effect and its a variable amount on top of that I would say you can get a 50% discount on the cost to increase critical strike chance. So it would be 8 CP in this case. I would actually suggest increasing this bonus to make it more meaningful as a +4% Chance to Critical is pretty small and you're currently underpaying. If you know what you want to pay you can reverse the above equation like so... y = ([Cost of the Jutsu] * (2x/100) ) / 2 (the 50% cost decrease) 2y = [Cost of the Jutsu] * (2x/100) 2y / [Cost of the Jutsu] = 2x/100 ((2y / [Cost of the Jutsu]) * 100 ) / 2 = xSimplified (2y / [Cost of the Jutsu]) * 50 = xYou were originally paying 30 CP for this effect, so... (2{30} / [200]) * 50 = xx = +15% Chance to Crit Because it needs to be a multiple of 4 (because of Afraid ranks) you could make this 4x Chance to Critical (maximum of 16%) for 30 CP. Apply this to the second one as well.
