cntrstrk14 Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 For your information, Swift Release is already a Combinatorial Element that can be found here. http://ninja-academy-online.com/forum/index.php?/topic/36144-swift-release/#comment-382196
Cellar Door Posted February 26, 2017 Posted February 26, 2017 The element is in existence, but you're more than welcome to try for the bloodline, or even resubmit the current version of the element. That one seems bad to me upon reviewing it again.
Ancient Posted February 27, 2017 Author Posted February 27, 2017 (edited) Swift release : Jinton (Heavenly transfer) Description: There had being bloodlines; ranging from dojutsu to the very popular mokuton release created by the first hokage , senju hashirama. The swift release : (heavenly transfer) is a rare bloodline that grant its user the ability to move at the speed of light and move object around them at the same speed. While there other bloodlines which grant speed abilities, swift release stands out . When users of this bloodline moves , they become a moving blur of light and a chilly wind boom is added to make sweet the sauce, same applies when they transfer objects ( ya know what that means, it means they are invisible!!!). How this bloodline works is quite complicated, they are able to manipulate space and time, moving their body and surroundings beyond its limit. The bloodline grant abilities more than just moving or transfering object at the speed of light, only those who have mastered it can unravel its mysteries and powers. Activation/Upkeep : 5% of total chakra Swift mysteries Unlocked: User can now use swift tag techniques (I.e you gain access the combinatorial skill “swift release"), You also gain the elemental subtle skill “wind". This replaces your village element. Cost: 2 Swift boom-: Effect: Every time the user attacks a target(s) with a “swift tag" technique , they gain one ”swift boom" . Swift boom deal an additional 50% of the base damage of the swift technique used in the same turn it was gained. Opponent must roll to dodge the “Swift boom" after their roll to dodge the real/initial swift technique. Description: Even the waves obey them and yield to their command, the waves and pressure generated when they move is enough to knock an opponent off its feet and blow them into space. Cost: -1 Swift Flash:- Effect: Every rank in this skill, you gain +200 to speed Description: No one moves faster than light, none I say and so are you. Rank:5 Cost: 2 Swift Sonic:- Effect: Your Ninjutsu, Evasion and Accuracy increase by 2XY, X is user's ninja rank and Y is user's level ( X may not be less than 1 and Y may not be less than 10). Description: Like a Sling shot, you are as accurate as a crate, your swift ninjutsu prowess is strong enough to cause an large crater with a single punch, even when you miss, the waves which are your servant never miss. You evade like hades, nothing catches you. Cost: 6 Swift Hit and dodge: Effect: Techniques with the “Swift tag" has 10X chance to hit. Jutsu (Ninjutsu, taijutsu, genjutsu) targeting user has -10X chance to hit. X is equal to the user's ninja rank. Description: You're too fast, Not even the tick tick of time can beat you. Genjutsu find it hard to find it way into you, You are faster than time and you can't be reversed. Cost: 2 Swift : Gift Effect: For every 100 stat point you have in speed, you have 10 stat point in taijutsu , AoE techniques are now rolled to be dodged normally. Description: Speed compliment your attacks, the faster you are, the more powerful your punches shatters rock, thanks to your servants. Your speed knows no limits, even a field with fire storm won't see you. Cost : -3 Swift : Heavenly transfer mastery - Effect: You have mastered your bloodline to its brim. Description: Those who have mastered this bloodline can not only move at light's speed but also move move matter and targets in their surroundings at the same speed. Ichigo Posted February 27, 2017 Posted February 27, 2017 (edited) Swift Boom- Try using something like When the user attacks with a Technique with the [Swift] tag, they gain one attack of X unmodified damage 50% is way to high. You have to think long term. If I use a Sennin jutsu with 600 base damage the output is insane. 600+(ninmod)+(Nin Mastery)-(their Def) = X +300 more unmodded damage. Swift flash- A passive ability to gain 1000 speed at no cost IE most bloodlines have an activation cost of 5% chakra per turn cost. I can't see that happening. You could work in a way to grant the status effect "Haste" for 1-2 Turns based on using a "Switch Jutsu" that successfully hits. Haste is a 15% increase to speed stat. Swift Sonic - Seems high for 3 stats to passively increase. a level 100 shinobi at Sennin would be increasing 2400 worth of stats. Thats 24 levels worth of stats for 3SP. The 2X where X is level is a much more viable option. Where X is never lower then 20. Last one- Again the passive free costs are to high. At rank 4, youre getting 400 free stats just to hit, 400 Accuracy is 40% to hit. Then to miss, thats 400 free Evasion and 400 free Concentration. Edited February 28, 2017 by Ichigo
Ancient Posted February 28, 2017 Author Posted February 28, 2017 (edited) (Lol Ichigo, I'm trying my luck here. Now, let get serious) Please, it should be noted that this clan deal mainly with speed , making them deliver and dodge attacks at a speed so fast to be even calculated. 1. Firstly I made the activation and upkeep cost for this bloodline 5%, which to me looks reasonable. 2. “Swift boom" now deal 50% of the base damage of the swift technique used 3. Swift sonic now cost 6 skill point (looks fine to me) 4. The activation and upkeep cost should cover up for this. Edited March 1, 2017 by Ancient
Cellar Door Posted March 1, 2017 Posted March 1, 2017 Quote Swift mysteries Unlocked: User can now use swift tag techniques (I.e you gain access the combinatorial skill “swift release"), You also gain the elemental subtle skill “wind". This replaces your village element. Cost: 2 Why do you gain Subtle Elements wind? This is a pretty odd qualifier for this type of kekkei genkai, and it seems like something that you're doing just for your own character, as opposed to something that would be good for a whole clan of people. Quote Swift boom-: Effect: Every time the user attacks a target(s) with a “swift tag" technique , they gain one ”swift boom" . Cost: -1 This is a unique idea, but right now I think it's too strong, especially if a Swift Boom is considered a whole separate attack. I think a mechanic similar to this that was reigned in power-wise might be a good fit for this bloodline. I like the idea of your attacks leaving secondary sonic-booms. Quote Swift Flash:- Effect: Every rank in this skill, you gain +200 to speed Description: No one moves faster than light, none I say and so are you. Rank:5 Cost: 2 I would prefer this sort of bonus not become terribly wide-spread. Passive (though I guess this isn't technically passive) stat boosts are quite uncommon, and they generally only apply to 'Tank' statistics, which are the resources stats. Health, Stamina, Chakra. It's basically the big unique thing about Wood Release, and this would just be a copy cat, when it could be much more interesting. Quote Swift Sonic:- Effect: Your Ninjutsu, Evasion and Accuracy increase by 2XY, X is user's ninja rank and Y is user's level ( X may not be less than 1 and Y may not be less than 10). Description: Like a Sling shot, you are as accurate as a crate, your swift ninjutsu prowess is strong enough to cause an large crater with a single punch, even when you miss, the waves which are your servant never miss. You evade like hades, nothing catches you. Cost: 6 So this is +2880 stats, on top of the +1000 from the previous skill. These bonuses are too much. 1440 is the top end for stat additions from a bloodline or advanced system. You're gonna need to pick one or the other, but I personally don't think either one is a very good fit for the flavor here. It seems like you're just dumping in the powerful effects you've seen from other bloodlines. Quote Swift Hit and dodge: Effect: Techniques with the “Swift tag" has 10X chance to hit. Cost: 2 This is just another +400 to Accuracy and Evasion, bringing you up to +3680 stat bonus. Quote Swift : Gift Effect: For every 100 stat point you have in speed, you have 10 stat point in taijutsu , AoE techniques are now rolled to be dodged normally. Description: Speed compliment your attacks, the faster you are, the more powerful your punches shatters rock, thanks to your servants. Your speed knows no limits, even a field with fire storm won't see you. Cost : -3 More stats bonuses. The AoE thing is kinda cool and makes some sense. Quote Swift : Heavenly transfer mastery - Effect: You have mastered your bloodline to its brim. Description: Those who have mastered this bloodline can not only move at light's speed but also move move matter and targets in their surroundings at the same speed. Cost: 0 This is does nothing. You really don't need a whole skill just to say you're done paying for your bloodline.
Ancient Posted March 5, 2017 Author Posted March 5, 2017 Lol I just thought adding the wind stuff might add more flavor to the bloodline. Shit!!!... I'm still getting acquitanted to this site. Gimme some time to fix the errors. I'll get back to you later.
