[Explosion Release | 爆遁 | Bakuton] is an advanced chakra nature kekkei genkai. This chakra nature gives the wielder the ability to utilize combustive chakra in combat, causing explosions to be triggered when contact is made. The most commonly known users of this nature are members of Iwagakure's Explosion Corps.

The users of the Bakuton users can usually be seen split into two groups; those that use the Taijutsu Method, and those who still maintain lineage of the Clay Method. The Taijutsu Method is a style in which the user typically must first make contact before releasing explosive charges, while the Clay Method is a unique sect of owners who have developed the ability to produce clay, from earth elemental chakra, and expel it from their digestive systems. The clay is formed into various shapes, and then the user imbues those clay structures with explosive chakra,  essentially creating bombs. 

 

Bakuton Affinity 
Effect: Characters with this skill gain the skill ‘Combinatorial; Explosion’ for 0 Skill Points. When purchased at character creation, the skill 'Combinatorial; Explosion' replaces their village bonus skill. When purchasing the skill ‘Ninjutsu Mastery; Explosion’, characters with this skill may purchase 2 ranks for 1 Skill Point.

Bakuton Efficiency 
Effect: When a character with this skill uses an “Explosion Element” technique, they may increase the bonuses of “Combinatorial Elements; Explosion” and “Subtle Elements; Lightning” applied to that technique, by +25% per rank in this skill (rounded up). 
Description: A natural affinity and practiced use of the elements required to use an Explosion Release technique allows the user to refine the precision at which they mix that chakra. These new stepping stones of precision allow for more devastating damage and a wider target zone.
Max Ranks: 4  (may only be taken once every 10 levels)
Cost: -2

 

Bakuton Economy
Effect: When a character with this skill uses an “Explosion Element” technique, they may reduce the 'Chakra' or 'Stamina' cost by -10%, per rank in this skill (Rounded up).
Description: A natural affinity and practiced use of the elements required to use an Explosion Release technique allows the user to refine the amount of energy they use, without sacrificing their precision. Practice alone can only lower the amount of chakra so much however.

-Bakuton Affinity is a required skill of Explosive Clay Training.

 

Combinatorial elements; Explosion
May use Explosion Element techniques. When calculating the damage of an Explosion element attack, treat the target's total Defense statistic as if it were reduced by 10%. In addition, the user may choose to apply the bonus from one of the Subtle Elements skills required to learn this skill, if they own it.
Requirements: Subtle Elements; Earth & Lightning

May use Lightning element techniques. All Lightning techniques have a +8% chance to hit. All 5 'Subtle Element' skills share ranks, however each skill may only be taken once.

Just a quick wording note, you refer to the non-clay method first as Taijutsu Method, then again a sentence later as the Physical Method. You should probably have a uniform naming structure incase someone chooses to make a Taijutsu Style related to it or something.
