Effect: When the wielder of this weapon performs an attack with this weapon, all characters currently afflicted with any status effect that shares a stack with ‘Bound; Arm’ or ‘Shackled; Leg’ that was afflicted by the wielder have a 20x% chance to have the duration of that status effect increased by +1 turn at the beginning of the their turn. The value of ‘x’ is equivalent to the rank of the wielder (i.e: Genin; 1, Chunin; 2, etc). Per battle limits on status effects may not be exceeded by this effect. Additionally, the wielder of this weapon may learn the technique 'Chōtō Ninpō: Jigumo Nui' for the cost of 0 Jutsu Points.

Effect:  Any time that a target is struck by an attack from this weapon, all ‘Set Traps’ requiring this weapon that are currently set on the battlefield are treated as if they had been set for +1 additional turn. When a ‘Set Trap’ that requires this weapon is activated, any characters that are afflicted with a status effect by attacks made with this weapon are dealt 5x% of the activated ‘Set Trap’s base damage, with the value of ‘x’ being equivalent to the rank of Set Trap (i.e: Genin; 1, Chunin; 2, etc).

Description: The exact history of the Kubikiribōchō is not well documented, but it is known that the sword was forged within Kirigakure generations ago. Like many of the swords that came to be known collectively as the Seven Shinobi Swords of the Mist, the head cleaving blade is an easily recognizeable weapon, and carries with it an almost palpable aura of menace.
 
The weapon itself is truly massive, with a single-edged blade that can easily compare in height to a full-grown man. The length of the blade sports a pair of perfectly circular holes cut into the blade to reduce the weight of the massive sword and to allow for a unique sort of guillotine effect. The most striking ability of the blade, beyond its sheer cutting power is its ability to absorb the iron in the blood of its victims to strengthen and repair itself, making the blade virtually indestructible.

Over the course of Kirigakure's history, the Kubikiribōchō has been wielded by some of the most powerful and infamous assassins to call that village home, including the notorious muderer Biwa Juzo, the Demon of the Mist, Momochi Zabuza, and in more recent times Kazegari Arisu, who defected to Sunagakure with the weapon.
Requirements: 5500-word Quest (Upon completion of the quest, a character must roll a 100-sided dice. On an outcome of 1-25, the character is considered to have failed the quest. A second attempt may be made by completing an additional 1625 word quest and a second roll. A second outcome of 1-25 indicates that this weapon may never be gained by this character through questing.)
