Dog Release; Bared Fangs I

Type: Genjutsu [ Predatory Archetype ǀ Pet ǀ Hijutsu; Inuzuka Mimi ].

Rank: Genin.

Cost: 80 Chakra.

Damage: 60 Ghost.

Effect: This attack inflicts one turn of Startled and reduce the target’s Accuracy by 10 for one turn.

Pet Combination Effect: This attack also inflicts one turn of Impaired Eyesight.

Description: For a brief moment after performing the technique, a dog’s grisly maw opens in front of the user. It is wider than a man, darker than the black behind your eyes, and filled with sharp bloody teeth. But the maw closes as quickly as it appeared, just after a small dog flies out of its throat. The pup almost doesn’t look real - its fur is perfectly groomed and sparkles in the right light, its eyes look almost plastic, and it’s wearing a cape. This dog charges its target and jumps right for their eyes. The goal of this technique is to strain the target’s mind under the dichotomy between the horrible nature of the maw and the childish nature of the dog.

Dog Release; Perplexing Pack I

Type: Genjutsu [ Predatory Archetype ǀ Pet ǀ Hijutsu; Inuzuka Mimi ].

Rank: Genin.

Cost: 80 Chakra.

Damage: 40 Ghost.

Effect: This attack inflicts one turn of Receptive.

Pet Combination Effect: This attack also inflicts one turn of Headache.

Description: Dogs of all shapes and sizes rush out from behind the user and circle their target. Their movements are erratic and unnatural - while a minority of these animals simply run in loops around their opponent, most float through the air, pass through the ground, or teleport without warning. Their numbers are dynamic, with the dogs splitting from and merging with each other and everyone else in the area. The end result is an assault on the target’s sense of reality, leaving them open to further mental attacks.

Technique Points: 6.

Dog Release; Underdogs I

Type: Genjutsu [ Predatory Archetype ǀ Pet ǀ Set Trap ǀ Hijutsu; Inuzuka Mimi ].

Rank: Genin.

Cost: 80 Chakra.

Effect: The target’s Accuracy is reduced by 50 for two turns.

Pet Combination Effect: This effect may only be used when this trap is set. The technique inflicts Fazed.

Description: Chakra surges from the user into the ground beneath them. It delays shaping itself until called upon, when it will tear itself out of the earth in the form of several large dogs. Some of these illusory dogs screen their allies with their bodies while the others act to distract and confuse their target to prevent any clear attacks.

Explanation

Right, so the Pet rules say “At the cost of their Pet Action for their turn, a character with Path of the Tamer may use a technique with a 'Pet Combination' modifier.” The issue is that Set Traps are used twice - once when the technique is performed and once when it's triggered.

I wasn’t comfortable leaving it open ended for this effect, so I specified that the Pet Action can only be used when you first set the trap.

Anyway, the effect is main site.
