Critical Point

 

Found upon the chakra flow techniques utilized in a myriad of abilities the Critical Point was created using a similar method by Hatake Inoue. By applying certain characteristics of the White Chakra Release secret technique hailing from her clan and combining those with chakra flow to channel her chakra into both her body and her weapons, this amalgamation of abilities dyes the blades and exteriors of these weapons in a radiant white light from the heavy concentration of chakra that envelops them. Not only are their appearances different, attributes possessed by a given tool are augmented in a number of ways from erecting elemental shields out of inlaid elemental chakra to using them beyond their natural limitations, further increasing any advantage the user can gain from their use.  Even when the weapons are at risk of being destroyed, the chakra can "spring to life"  and can act as a makeshift adhesive that fills any gaps or missing pieces of the weapon in order to hold it together not unlike recovering from a injury.

 

Cost: 2.5% Total Stamina & Chakra Activation; 2.5% Total Stamina & Chakra Upkeep

Activation: The user may activate this ability as a Setup Phase action and may deactivate it as a free action in any Phase.

Rules: This is an Advanced System. Critical Point may only be activated if the user is equipped with at least 1 weapon; if this condition is not met by the end of the user's Setup Phase the ability is deactivated.

 

Critical Point; Critical Release

Effect: While Critical Point is active, stat bonuses granted by the equipped weapon are increased by 50% if they are passive equipment bonuses or by 100% if they are not passive equipment bonuses.  Additional stats gained through this effect do not count towards the passive equipment bonus limit.

Critical Point; Weaponized Defense

Effect: While Critical Point is active, choose one equipped weapon with the Inlaid Element [Element] attribute. The user gains a Shield with Health equal to 2x + 50 that absorbs physical [Element] damage while the weapon is equipped. If the weapon possesses the corresponding Elemental Resonance [Element] attribute and the user is Chuunin rank, the Shield has Health equal to 4x + 75 instead . If the weapon possesses the corresponding True Elemental Resonance [Element] attribute and the user is Jonin rank or higher, the Shield has Health equal to 6x + 100 instead. This ability may be applied once per weapon per battle and only one Shield may be gained at a time.

Critical Point; Limit Break

Effect: While Critical Point is active, if the user’s equipped weapon possess the Defend, Dispel, Parry or Ward attributes, the user may choose one of the attributes. The chosen attribute may be used 1 additional time per battle. If the user is of Jounin rank or higher, the user may instead choose two of the attributes and the same attribute may be chosen twice.

Critical Point; Living Weapon

Effect: While Critical Point is active, if the user is afflicted with Destroy Weapon, as a Setup Phase action they may pay 1.5x of the CP cost of the status effect with any amount of Stamina and Chakra to remove the status from the weapon. This ability may be applied once per weapon per battle.

New clan skills can only be created with the permission of the clan’s owner. I checked with Tony, who said you never requested permission to create these, so I’m afraid we can’t move forward with this Advanced System. That said, given how Tony has said before that White Chakra Release was to be the only skill the Hatake get and that was used as a balancing factor for the skill’s low cost, you’d be better off using or making a non-Hatake Advanced System than trying to get this approved as it currently is. “The cost is very aggressive, however this will be the only skill that the Hatake get.” - From the second post of White Chakra Release’s thread.
