Guest Itako Posted September 14, 2005 Posted September 14, 2005 (edited) ===General Info=== - Name: Linelle "Lin” Lam - Gender: Femme - Age: 15 ===Appearance=== - Height: 5'1” - Weight: 101 pounds - Hair: Black - Eyes: Brown - Clothing: Lin is a mix-and-match type of person, wearing ratty jeans, but covering them with pleated school skirts and heavy black belts with shiny silver buckles. She then wears a black ribbed v-neck t-shirt with a collar, over which is a male's blue and white striped shirt that is left open, the ends of the sleeves flowing over her hands and the ends of the shirt reaching near her knees. Her shoes are old year 2000 Vans, hand-me-downs from her younger brother, and she wears emo glasses, the type with thick black rims some times. - Physical Description: Lin isn't *that* skinny… or so she tells people. Skinnier than a lot of people, but not *that* skinny. She's Vietnamese, and has the tell-tale lilt, and wiry black hair that reaches her neckline. ===History=== - Background: Lin's family is fairly rich, considering she's lived in Vietnam, China, America, and Japan throughout her life. She has an odd lilt that can only come from a Viet-girl-raised-in-America-then-moved-to-Asia condition. Lin turned out the way she is at random. As a child, she was the star of her family, being an A student from kindergarten up. In junior high, she got used to getting B's, though she made the 4.0 Honors three quarters in the eighth grade. Placed in all available honors and AP classes in freshman year, Lin started to drop. She gets B's in all her academic classes (luckily, they're all weighted, so her GPA doesn't drop) and A's in her electives, for effort, yaknow, with her complex (See below). ((SCENE FROM LIFE)) Lin didn't want to wake up. She really didn't. The only thing was, she was in math class and the teacher was slapping her desk with a ruler, and if she didn't sit up within a few seconds, she'd get detentions. And she <i>so</i> did not need detention right now, because today the soundtrack for Final Fantasy Seven Advent Child was supposed to arrive on her doorstep, and she couldn't waste any time at reaching it. "Thank you, Lam-chan, for staying awake and paying attention in class," the teacher said dryly. Lin grinned and gave a witty "You're welcome, sensei," back. The teacher rolled his eyes and returned to the blackboard, while people laughed. It was an amazement she wasn't failing the class. ===Persona=== - Personality: Lin's pretty much a "Gotta finish this for the hell of it” complex. She doesn't go to sleep at night until her homework is done, doesn't stop writing a story until it's finished, and reads novels in one sitting (if you try to interrupt her, she'll cuss you out and kick you out) . Once all that is done, she is a bouncy person and loves yelling and punching walls, even if it means bloody knuckles. She's also fairly oblivious to things going around her and in her. She tends to be less naive than she lets on, but pretending to be completely pure is easier for her. - Likes: Sleep, Writing, Math, Food, Music, Guys who Play music... - Dislikes: Nosey people, popular girls... ===Favorite=== - Food: Macaroni and Cheese! But will eat absolutely anything.
