She opened her green eyes, which were now a little deeper, "Why are we here, and what exactly are we going to be doing here? Please and thank-you if it'll make it better...," finished Zephyrus, her eyes narrowed some, staring into the traitor who they had called sensei at a point. But not anymore. At least, that's not what Zephyrus was going to call him anymore. He had no meaningful name anymore. Guest Itako Posted November 12, 2005 Posted November 12, 2005 Lin stayed quiet the entire time, arms around her knees and pulling Naoto's shirt closer to her. It was cold. She didn't just stare at her feet though, she looked around and observed everything going on. It seemed that Ken-kun was trying to signal something to Danny, possibly trying to organize a resistance. She could tell though, that it would be impossible, at best, very difficult. Lestat was being cool, Miya seemed fearless, Naoto and Danny were talking... Lin dug into Zeph's backpack to find her glasses, and put them on. Just to make sure that she was seeing right.

Infact, she had been sitting in a perfect place to oversee everything that was going on with the people in the group. So, she had a perfect vantage point as the soldiers came rushing in and pushed everyone to the ground. The teen stayed silent. There was nothing she needed to ask. She knew that eventually, the others would ask all the questions that she needed to know and so, she wouldn't need to say a thing. Besides, even though their "teacher” had asked if they had any questions, it didn't mean that he'd actually answer any of them. If the silent conversation that some of the students were saying were true, this would just be a test to see how they reacted in a surprise like this. Arche decided that the best action she could take right now was nothing at all and see how it all turned out.

Although his cousin did win the "game”, he had been left with many mental and physical scars that would make hinder his ability to live a normal life. There was one thing he learned from his cousin's many – forced – stories. There was absolutely no way to beat the system. The only way to survive was to play the game…
