dowhatnow Posted October 7, 2005 Posted October 7, 2005 ===General Info=== - Name: Hamato Yoshi - Gender: Male - Age: 15 ===Appearance=== - Height: 5'8" - Weight: 145 lbs. - Hair: Roughly 4 inches of scraggly black hair with blonde streaks placed in the hair almost at random - Eyes: Brown - Clothing: Sweatshirt and multi-pocket khaki jeans. - Physical Description: Average build teenager. No special features such as scars or anything of the sort. ===History=== - Background: It wasn't until his thirteenth birthday that he finally got a CD player. The most basic model, no bells or whistles. But he didn't care. He'd seen good music on his friends' walls bedroom walls and heard it on their CD players, so he knew what he liked to hear. As soon as he got enough money, he went out and bought all the he could. Only the top musical selections on his list would do. He stayed up most of the night listening, memorizing, singing along, and even dancing to his music collection. Then, he made the mistake of taking that CD player to class one day and accidentally fell asleep for some reason or another. This angered his teacher and as such his CD player was taken from him until the end of the school day. He was like a junkie without his fix. He started to shake violently and become withdrawn, but the teacher had no choice but to keep the player from him. It was interfering with his studies. In fact, in almost every class before, he'd been acing a great deal of his assignments, but after he got that CD player, everything went downhill. His grades gradually slipped, some even down into the D range, but somehow he kept from failing. Then in the next year, he'd earned enough money to buy an even better player and more music. His grades held steady, and some were even improving. His secret is that he'd only listen to music through one ear, and the teacher and assignment for the next day through another. This sometimes lead to weird answers to questions like, "What was the result of Vlad Dracul's reign of terror?" to which he answered, "A Vampire's Lament by Ateryu." Both his teachers and parents became worried by answers such as this, but neither cared much about them when good grades came as well. ===Persona=== - Personality: Mostly an intellectual, but his hunger for good music somehow always takes precedence over class work, and often results in his things being confiscated until the end of class. - Likes: His technological gear, such as a CD/MP3/etc format player as well as a spare Cassette Tape player and a copy of every CD/MP3/whatever on tape. - Dislikes: His favorite song being interrupted, being annoyed ===Favorite=== - Food: Anything that tastes good, or more simply, edible. - Color: Dark colors - Music Genre: Metal - Book Genre: Only reads if he's listening to a learning CD/Tape/MP3 and the book corresponds to it.
