Ehh... When I Plug My Ears, I Can Hear Ringing...

Yeah, if I like stick a finger into each ear and block out most sound, I can hear a barely-audible, but continous high pitched ringing sound. I can't even really notice it, unless I try to hear it, which makes me feel like I'm just imagining it. -__-

So yeah, can you hear stuff like that with your ears plugged? Or do ya'll hear absolute silence?

Silence has a sound......

So, basically, there is no such thing as silence............

I like multi-period talking..........

Eh, I did some searching, and it seems we all have something called Tinnitus... -__-

Oh well, at least I'm not alone!

its normal. You would have to be in a situation where there is absolutely no sound waves or movement at all to get completele silence. And as long as your alive and breathing, you will hear it.

With this, what I am guessing is...

Perhaps, when there are not any sound waves low enough for the human ear to pick up clearly, the ear heightens its own receptors, and hears frequincies higher than you would normally be able to pick up.

Man, that had alot of words that I prolly spelled terribly ><
