Guest kuratg Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 1. Since I don't officially have a team, nor a jounin trainer for that matter, I can do all the self training (as alloted by my character's NRG, etc.) as I want, or do I need to specify my inentions with a staffie? 2. If, say, I wanted to learn a jutsu, do I have to ask a staffie for permission to learn it myself? Would it be better to have an NPC teach it? 3. Let's say that I gain X TXP one day. Two weeks later, my character has advanced a level from a battle (or something) and has (for the sake of the question) aged a year. I want to do some more training with the character, even so I would continue on the previous training thread that I'd made two weeks ago, correct? Quote
Rei Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 (edited) 1) FYI: You cannot train without TST. NRG no long exists. The main site hasn't been changed for sometime now which makes a lot of the rules confusing. 2) You only need permission to learn a customized justu from its creator. Some justu require NPC training, but it's not for all. 3) Yes. Edited January 1, 2006 by Rei Quote
Guest Cliff Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 1) You HAVE to have a jounin teacher before any training is done. 2) You need no staff permission and it would be best to have an npc there to teach you. You must have a technique slot though. 3) you don't have to continue on the same thread over and over again, just for a level Quote
Rei Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 3) you don't have to continue on the same thread over and over again, just for a level <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Cliff, you have to continue in the same thread unless training with a group or in a new location. This creates less clutter on the board. Quote
Guest Cliff Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 yea, but there are still people changing from topic to topic. Quote
Guest kuratg Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Okay, so no training yet, then, since I've got no jounin. But, what exactly is TST? Quote
Rei Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 (edited) yea, but there are still people changing from topic to topic. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> They shouldn't be changing from topic to topic. Takius Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Well, since you're still level 1/0, I suggest you do Missions first. o.o; Quote
Rei Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 You cannot do anything until you've completed Jounnin training. Quote
Guest Yachiru Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 TST= teachers survival training, after you finsih that your free to do whatever you want, missions, training, etc Quote
Guest kuratg Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 OIC. I suppose it's the waiting game again! Unless there is like, a list of free jounins or something. I suppose I should also repost my character info in that Team thread here, since Raizen isn't officially in. Quote
Takius Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 You need that...? OH. In Konoha they actually have active Jounins?! T_T; Quote
Rei Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 You need that...?OH. In Konoha they actually have active Jounins?! T_T; <{POST_SNAPBACK}> It's like Kiri with more powerful characters and an active Kage. Quote
Guest Sweet Neodaddy Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Simplest way to end the waiting game would be to PM a mod and ask them to be your jounin. Quote
Ironwolf Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 kuratg, find yourself a team and I could be your Jounin Quote
Guest Yachiru Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 i wouldnt say more powerful characters, almost half of our village never does anything and kiri has a Uchiha which is very confusing, (has anybody been here long enough to tell me how that happened or is it to long of a story) Quote

We have one character that's above level 20 where you have more than three or had. His background makes little sense if you were to read it; of course that si only my opinion. Guest Sweet Neodaddy Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Kiri has the strongest Uchiha (I believe), due to Lemon doing anything in his power to keep Mizujin leet.* And Rei is right, the background doesn't make sense. Quote
Rei Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 In general his character doesn't make sense. I've talked o quite a few people who wander how the whole thing was approved. Quote

Maelstrom Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 You should've PMed a Mod/Admin to move you before. People forget things over time and aren't always active. Mistakes happen. Best bet is to simply sit quietly and wait for another spot to open in Konoha. OR, you can simply choose another village for the time being and create a whole new character sheet. Quote
Azure Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 (edited) i did i PMed ^__^ and he said the reason i wasn't moved was i had to form a team so i said i would and now that there were people avalible i PMed them and we put together a team and would post it when we got in Edited January 1, 2006 by Raizen Quote
Guest kuratg Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Raizen, I really don't want to remove ya from the team, but what was that whole 'locked' thing about in your character sheet thing? Quote
Rei Posted January 1, 2006 Posted January 1, 2006 Some mods use locked as an indicator that a character has been approved and they should be moved. Quote
