Has anyone here ever done it before?

My friend's cousin has, according to him, but thats the only person I know that has. Any of ya'll here lucid dreamed before?

I would love to, but never have. I've heard that everything you do, is just according to what you think. So you can fly and do cool stuff like that. I wonder what happens if you die though...

Meh, discuss?

I only have lucid dreams when I'm caught up on my sleep. They are generally obviously dreams, because I rarely have anything but nonsensical dreams... But I have died in a lucid dream. I decided Iw ante dto wake up, so I did >_> And that's all that happened.

Yes, but the problem is, I can't control it. I go to sleep and can't tell I am dreaming until I am awake. A lot of the times, my dreams are of actual instances in my life where I make another decision or something different happens (at least the ones I can remember). Lucid dreams are more obvious as you are about to wake up, so you choose not to. At least, I do.

I do it all the time. Just lucky I guess. Have been a lucid dreamer since I was 10 years old. Alot of the time I just let my mind wander off so as to see what I really want in life. Funny thing is though, I just keep getting into fights with random people.

What is a Lucid Dream? I might have had some... but I really have no idea what you guys are talking about...

When you control your dreams, and are aware of being in one.

Um....Onlybeforethatniftythingcalledmenstruation.

Yeah. Always exactly the day before.

EDIT: And I forgot to mention that those dreams are horribly full of blood and gore. And I wake up when I decided I had enough. Then I sigh and be like...here we go again. XD

i remeber i had a few last year, but when i realized it was just a dream and i knew school was in a few hours and woke up ;)

and other dreams i can control myself but i think its reality and do what i'd normally do. nothing different then when i wake up i think: what if i knew and i'd do something else....

I've had a few of these, they are fun. Usually it will be a normal dream until something happens, I realise I;m dreaming and take over.

The worst dreams though are where I dream I wake up, get dressed, go to school, get all the way through my dayt, finally get home then wake up. Realising I have to get up and go to school, for a second time now. GOD I HATE THAT.

Yes. I speak from personal experience.

Aaaahhh...those are my favorite dreams. In my mind, I've had the best conquests ever. The involuntary ones are nowhere near as interesting...except for a few notable exceptions.

Yes, but some people (myself for example) can't control the setting in a lucid dream, merely their own actions. For me, it's a bit like being trapped in the Infinite Improbability Drive... I have very nonsensical dreams most of the time.

I also have recurring dreams which are more logical and realistic... And most of my recurring dreams are lucid in that I have control, but not in that I realize it's a dream. Likewise, in some I have no control, but know I'm dreaming...

Meh...I've kept a dream log and I just dug it up again. Seems like I've had this one dream of loss since I was 7. And its popped up every other month or so. Funky.

For dreams I can control and such, theres always an arm and leg tied with string to some unknown source, and I can't use those two limbs. It scares me. Then I wake up with sleep paralisis in my arm or leg.

And I have strange dreams. They're really funny. Like Pokemon battles with steriods and Bowflex machines incorporated in them, and Santa at MacDonalds with little kids waiting for trolley service.

I think I may have. I remember:

*Once I dreamed that I played through a game all the way and beat it (it was a PS2 game I believe) and woke up and...realized that my brother has the PS2 in his room, not me...

*I was in a video game store and there were all these games out for display and my brother was looking at games next to me. I looked up and saw some DS games and started to take the cartriges off the shelves and put them in my pocket and walked out of the store. Later I went to bed (in my dream!) and remembered I had put the games in my pocket, checked my pocket, and there they were. Then woke up.

*There was this ice skating battle where you ice skated and fought with lasers and swords and crap and I won, then woke up and was like, "That was cool," and went back to sleep and dreamed it again. Twice. In a row.

(EDIT) Let it be known that I have never in my life gone ice skating.

I've just started attempting to lucid dream. Right now, I am only beginning to remember my dreams more clearly, but I guess that's a good start.

I used to lucid dream frequently when I was a lot younger. Only, i used those lucid dreams in the wrong way, because I was young and stupid. Instead of taking advantage of them like I should have, I tried convincing all of the dream characters that it was in fact a dream. It didn't go too well.
