Rei began to sway and his movements became exaggerated, this however was a ruse. So that he seemed slightly off-guard so that the other two nin would be more relaxed to his actions. He got up from his stool and stumbled his way next to Shirahime and sat on the stool next to her, he whispered unnoticeably into her ear, "Don't let the summons distract you too much, it may be a trick - we cannot fully trust these nin, we must keep up our guard. "N-no, its just a flyer I found for this lounge. I found it in my yard." She stopped for a light hiccup. "B-but the summons are suspicious. Alas...c-carpe diem. <3" The heart almost seemed to make its way into the materialistic plane. The girl got off the chair and readusted her pants. He picked himself up and made his way back to his prior stool, almost tumbling as he walked. He ordered a shot of sambucca. He played with the rim of the drink with his index finger as he lead up to drinking it. As he knocked it back he glanced curiously at the larger of the two porcupine summons. Something in the air didnt give him a good feeling with all of these 'creatures' out and about... Quote

Piroki continued his silent and stealthy approach across the ceiling of the room, sticking to the shadows and pausing every so often so as to maintain his stealth's integrity. Little more...Little more....There we go! Now I can hear them. Piroki snickered inwardly to himself. I love working for this guy! He's so much more interesting then my old master! Piroki smirked as he began to spy on the 2 oto-nin. Quote

Despite his better manners than some of his kind, he was still a scorpion, and thus scared people just because of what he was... So, finishing off the shotglass of rootbeer like a mug, the little guy hopped over across the room, crawling up the wall until he reached the roof, sneaking up on the younger porcupine. "And just what do you think you're doing?" he asked. Terrick in the meantime, was still watching the two soundnins while talking to Kazuma, when the band started playing a different song. Spike turned to tthe barkeep and placed his order, "Double Bush on the rocks." Being the eldest of Kazuma's low-level summons, he was afforded special privileges. Looking around he began to scan the crowd, glaring at Terrick for a decingdly uncomfortably long time before moving on. Piroki spun around and glared at his nemesis. "YOU!!!! But nonetheless he thought that this should be interesting, as they made their way to the dacenfloor he turned his attention back to the Mist-nin in response to his question.. The song that was being played was a folk song, one that was played during a lot of the summer festivals, and one that Terrick knew quite well. "Have you ever danced before?" he asked. But the style she'd been studying hadn't been this nostaligic kind; it was the one that required natural talent, grim determination and years of study. So much time had been wasted dancing in solitude that dancing in joy had been basically forgotten. "Y-yes, I do dance, but I've never heard this song or anything." Seeing that the kusa-nin seemed to know what was going on, she decided that it wouldn't be that hard to catch on. Quote

With this Kazuma pointed at the horrible burn scars marring his otherwise handsome face and running the entire length of his body. "That and Spike here has a thing for bar-hopping" he added with a wide smile and a soft laugh as the grim-looking summon playfully took a swipe at his nose. "None of your business ya despicable creepy-crawly!!! What the master does is his concern and none of yours!" With that, Piroki dropped to the ground and scuttled up onto the bar by Kazuma and began munching on the beer nuts again, appearing to have only left to 'take care of some natural business.' I'm hopin to one day be able to pin people to the ground with electric needles and use them like lightning rods. I use the walking armory you see sitting on my head there to help improve my aim as they have better vision then any other summon I know." He chuckled into his drink as he finished yet another one and ordered 2 more for himself and another drink for the sound man. XD* "I-I didn't know it would be s-so apparent." Shirahime quickly caught on with the tempo, the tapping of feet and the music a kind aide. The girl watched Terrick's feet. figuring that the torso and upper body weren't the main focus of the style. Despite her usual lacking sense of direction, Shirahime was indeed able to mirror the footwork. After a few clumsy steps, she found the main gist of it and began to build from there.((Haha...I'm going way too into dance analysis.)) Quote

He picked it up and stared into it at first, curious as he pondered to himself as to how a liquid can have such affects to the human body, 'what the heck' he said to himself as he gulped the glass of drink till it was empty. 'Now that one felt a lot better' , he slammed the glass back down. "I should be picking up some new ninjutsu myself but Im awaiting to see what my teacher has in store for me", Rei then ordered another two drinks for himself and the Mist-nin, downing the drink before the Mist-nin had even got a word in... Kazuma roared with merriment as he threw the man a lrge sack of cash. Spike jumped down from his perch and took up his customary place next to Atane and grinned. Piroki jumped up and pulled out a little referee suit and began the countdown as Kazuma laughed like a lunatic at the trap he'd sprung on the sound man, then turning to begin the drinking contest. 'She catches on quick...' he noted with a smile, as he led her through the dance. It was more energetic than some folk dances, but not too much so, which meant that he was able to truly see how good of a dancer Shirahime was. The last time he'd danced with a girl, it had been at his aunt's wedding, and he'd stumbled over his own two feet. Since then, he'd gotten a lot better, but nowhere near the sound-konoichi's skill. As the music got to a relatively slower part, he whispered to her. "You're very good at this... Are you sure you've never danced like this before?" OOC: Gotta call it a night soon I'm afraid. Her steps followed time in the steady ritardando of the music until the steps became a leisurlely relaxing rhythm. "Y-yes, I haven't danced th-this way." It wasn't everyday that one could find a guy who could dance, not just breakdance and the modern such. Shirahime had mostly danced solo, and it was one of the very few times she danced with a partner. Quote
Prophet Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Kazuma laughed at the inexperienced oto-nin. Taking up the challenge was a brutally huge mistake on their part. Kazuma and Spike held the drinking record in Kiri for 3 years running! As Rei laughed at Piroki's antics, Kazuma began throwing back shot after shot of the gold tequila he'd chosen as their poison of choice. Let's see how well this boy can hold some real drinks! Spike had taken an early lead with Kazuma only half a shot behind seeing as how Spike had less of a distance to move his shot glasses. Both had begun drinkin the moment Piroki had fired his little tiny cap gun and were hell-bent on keeping their leads. {OOC} I'll be headin'er too right away, A couple more posts and I'm done. "BARKEEP!! 4 SHOTS OF THE SAME" Rei was becoming more aggressive towards the drinking now. As they came over he snatched two in one hand and two in the other, and instantly knocked them all back and slammed them down on the bar, cracking one of them, "Now, THATS how its DONE" , he said as he swayed back almost falling off his stool. Kazuma roared between shots as both he and Spike continued to pound back shot after shot after shot. Neither one seeming ot be even remotely fazed by the amount of alcohol entering their systems. Seeing the younger lad's tactics, the two glanced at each other and smirked. Silly kid, the reason you only throw them back one at a time is because that way you don't puke and get disqualified. Man he's just lucky I made a killing on that last mission so I can cover the costs. Otherwise he'd learn the worst part of losing a drinking contest.....Paying the bill. The two shuddered in unison. Holy cripes! That kid better be careful, he's only 12 and he's drinking straight tequila.....I'd best call in some medi-nin for him, otherwise he won't make it out the door! Piroki thought in disbelief, shaking his head all the time, knowing full well that neither Spike, his father, nor Atane Kazuma, his master, would even feel the drinks for a long time yet.
