After Hours Lounge

Cho Hakkai stood on the outside of a lounge like place and was interested in seeing what was in there and what was going on inside.

Hakkai entered the lounge and saw many different people inside. Smiling like he normally does, he walked around waving at several people. "Hello. My name is Hakkai."

Rei returned from the bathroom feeling slightly lighter. He noticed the new company to the bar, "Another sound-nin! We're taking this place over! Barkeep, anything this guy orders is on me!" , Reikoku felt around in his pouch and flung whatever change he had onto the bar..

Hakkai smiled as he leaned over the bar. "Thank you fellow sound ninja. Barkeep, I would love to have a shot of saki if you do not mind," Getting his drink, Hakkai smiled as he slowly enjoyed his drink. (A lot of underaged drinking no?)

(Heh, I'd been thinking the same thing since the beggining, but I doubt any barkeep would mess with 5 ninja :D:D )

"Teikiatsu Reikoku's the name, Rei for short. So what brings you here from Oto?" , Rei leaned forward and whispered to the sound nin "Be wary of the Grass and Mist-nin, them and their summons may have an alterior motive, keep an eye out for Shirahime" .. Rei sat back up but fell of his chair, he was clearly drunk and was never really in the running in the drinkin competition that had ensued with the Mist-nin. Reikoku was in histerics as he pulled himself back up his stool...

Hakkai nodded. "Don't Worry. I protect All people who matter to me. No matter how powerful the other person are, they won't mess with oto." Hakkai smiled brightly as he took his 10th shot, still sober. "I come here for reason taht I am quite bored in Oto. Not much is going on and the Chunnin Exams aren't coming soon as far as I know of. I might leave the village soon to travel to another." Hakkai then took another shot.

"I agree that there hasnt been much in Oto recently *hiccup*. But this time we must spend to train and become much much stronger *hiccup*. We may be called upon at any time *hiccup*. I myself *hiccup* have only recently passed the academy :D , and assigned a jounin instructor *hiccup* but I will be working my hardest to be prepared to join any team if neccessary" . Rei swivelled on his chair, grabbing his earliest drink that he found disgusting. This time he knocked it back, but didnt feel or taste a thing... 'Interesting...' .. Rei fell onto the bar, passed out? Asleep?.. 'Ive lost the will to keep my head up' ... not so serious then....

Hakkai just looked at the oto ninja that just passed out. "Talk about not able to handle his drinks." Hakkai laughed as he smiply just sat down at the bar and continue to drink several more shots of his saki, still compltley sober. "I wonder why someone right out of the academy is allow out of the jounnins watchful eye. Meh," Hakkai said shrugging. "At least he still has his jounnin."

After what Rei thought was a couple seconds he sat up, he looked at the clock, he had in fact been down for 10minutes. He turned back at the sound-nin "Whats your story then eh" . 'Perhaps I could learn a thing or two from this more experienced oto-nin'.

Posted

Hakkai smiled as he took another shot. "And by this you what exactly? The question seems a bit to vauge for me to answer anything." Hakkai smiled as he turned around in the bar stood and placed his cup down to look at the now not passed out ninja.

Posted

"Hmm, well, you seem like a generally chirppy character, no vendettas? Had the good life? Seem like the perfect team-mate" . Rei fiddled with the nutts in the tray.

Posted

Hakkai placed his drink down quickly, hearing a loud thud. "Well my life hasn't been the greatest," Hakkai said in a normal tone, no longer smiling. [b[" Let's just say, Some things are meant the way they were."[/b] Hakkai said while trying to smile again, trying to change the subject.

"Then I'd have to question the tastes of the guys in Oto... To never even ask one such as you out... They must be blind..." the grass-nin said with a rueful shake of his head. "So tell me, what do you aspire to become as a ninja?"

Mitoki had grown bored watching the groups, though the drinking game had been interesting... At any rate, the little summons poofed out of existence, heading back home.

Hakkai smiled as he turned to the Kusa ninja. "I aspire to kill the remains of a certain clan that fled one night." Saying nothing else, he drank more, still sober as he was walking in. "Problem is, I must wait."

"I-I'm too shy. I don't go around that often." Shirahime remembered those long years of abusive isolation. She's only been allowed to leave and exit the house just a few years ago. That was when she was free and mother and father. "I-I want to see how graceful I can become," Compared to mother. A slight pause, "Th-the main motivation's a-a personal issue....f-family stuff."

Posted

"Ah, I see.... That's alright then, you don't have to tell if you don't want to..." he said, sensing that it was a touchy subject. "Well, I've been working towards becoming a medic-nin myself, since it's kind of a family tradition... Both my parents are doctors, and since I'm the first ninja in ten generations, I figured that I'd go along with it. Hehe... To tell the truth I'm not much good at anything else..."

Posted

Shirahime smiled. "I-I've never met anyone training to be a medic-nin before." Of course, she hasn't met many people. "M-my family doesn't have any traditions. I-I'm not even sure i-if its called a family or not, r-really." She remembered all the strange incidents, and the most recent. "B-but I think th-theres a strange trait that has been passed down." Her mind flashed into a brief image of Muriyari Jikogiseihime's gravestone.

"Oh? You mean like a Bloodline or something?" he asked. Terrick hadn't seen anyone in Kusa that he knew personally that had a Bloodline Limit, though he knew there were a few clans that had them. "Though I guess not having any traditions just means that you get to make some yourself, right?"

Posted

"Bloodline?" Shirahime asked, blinking. The first thought that appeared in her mind were the Oto Kaguya. "I-I guess its something like that. Mother really doesn't like it." Of course, her reflection upon that peice of broken glass was a little frightening. Possession by the devil. "Tr-traditions? I wouldn't have any idea on how to start them."

Posted

Terrick was quiet a moment as he digested Shirahime's last statement. "Why's that? I don't know much about bloodlines, but they don't seem like they would be a bad thing... As for making traditions, it's easy. Just pick something you like, and do it at a time when you feel it's best for you, kind of like Christmas, or the Summer Festival..."

((just saying gonna be busy next day or so so may not post here for a bit, but the drunken Reikoku will return! <_< ))

"VICTORY!!!!!!" Kazuma roared at the top of his lungs, having succeeded in finally outdrinking Spike (mostly because his stomach is larger the the summon itself). The Mist-nin turned around and observed the new arrival. Damn it! Another Oto-nin? They're popping up like roaches! "Hey man, how's it going?"

Posted

"O-oh. I-I see." It still was a little puzzling for Shirahime, understanding that the only 'traditions' she had known were training every week or so with her mother, and running to the grocery store for errands every other week. And perhaps, if it counted, there were those meager little birthday parties, which had lacked any charisma whatsoever. But what puzzled her most was the bloodline. Had what she had seen been a birthright of shinobi? Shirahime shook off the thoughts. Confusion was a bad thing. It didn't do any good for someone as scatterbrained as her.

"Ah...a-are traditions f-fun?" the girl asked Terrick, lacking much knowledge on those lives living outside her tiny window of a spectrum.

"Hai, most of them are... The dance for example, is a traditional one from older times in Plains country when farmers would celebrate the harvest. It's custom for young boys and girls to dance in the evening, and they throw a big party for everyone. Terrick had a feeling that there was something else about this girl that he couldn't put his finger on... And he also got the feeling that even she may not know what it was...

OOC: Like he said, last post of the night, see you again tomorrow!

Shirahime smiled again. "I-I think traditions sound fun," she paused, searching for some more words to insert. "E-everyone else who has them seem to be happy." The unknown seemed to rise up within Shirahime, along with fear of it. It was rather unusual for the girl to still carry on a conversation; as either she had shied away from the lack to topics or the other just thought she was too insignificant to continue talking to. "Th-thank you for talking to me. I-I really appreciate it. I h-haven't talked m-much with anyone for a while."
