Terrick Sukrai Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 "She looks like she's going into shock, keep her feet elevated!" Terrick said as he hustled over to the girl, taking off his cloak and wrapping it around the girl. "Get that compress of her head, that won't help here, we have to keep her warm before her body goes numb..." He didn't want to panic the others by saying that she looked like she was going into some form of fit as well, which is why he had wrapped her in the cloak instead of just laying it on her... That way she wouldn't hurt herself. Quote
Cloudnine Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 The strange spirit had settled in as Shirahime drifted away into a corner of her mind, paralyzed in a state of infinite euphoria. Jikogiseihime...take care of my body. Don't hurt anyone. A singsong message relayed back to her, In the confines of these lowly ones, I am barred of my duties you promised to me. But I didn't want it to go this way... Buried ten feet deep beneath your sorrow, just what can you do? Sleep in your given ecstacy until I am uninterested. So is this what it looks like beneath a wasteland? The body thrashed to set herself free of the bonds, a feral glint in her hazy eyes. Tiny pupils flicked from place to place, the spirit of Jikogiseihime in a wrath from the disappointment due to her allotted 'playtime'. Quote
Terrick Sukrai Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 "Guys, back up will ya?" Terrick said as the konoichi opened her eyes. Not knowing that Shirahime had seemingly switched personalities, he loosened his cloak to give her a little bit of room. "Shirahime... Are you okay?" he asked.... OOC: I just know my character's going to regret loosening that.... Quote
Cloudnine Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 As soon as the cloak came loose, the body ((I have to make a name for that thing...)) rolled onto the floor, staggering slightly with the similar limpness as before. Breathing came as ragged gasps as Shirahime's possessor sent a new wave of orders to the body. Staying still for just a split second, the girl began to move. Lacking the usual grace and flowing of her movements, Shirahime's body raced in erratic paces. It seemed that in an instant, she appeared besides Terrick. "Can you feel it? That prickly ticklish feeling when brush against a falling chimney down..." Obviously this wasn't making sense. And then, almost as graceful as Shirahime, the body dipped into an arc with the hands in a swirling windmill. "And those hordes of armed misers are waiting in line to pay for those bottles of lotuses." She spun, seemingly happy. Yes, keep talking. Dont. Make. A. Single. Move. Quote
Terrick Sukrai Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 Terrick, despite only recently becoming a ninja, had seen quite a bit of wierdness in his life... Being trained by people who seemed to love Genjutsu would tend to do that to people... But this was strange even for HIS experience. "Shira... Are you... okay?" he said, the two scorpions on his shoulders wondering if this was normal behaviour for human females... Quote
Cloudnine Posted February 21, 2006 Posted February 21, 2006 (edited) She paused her twirling. "Shira? Now I'm puzzled." Returning to her old spot beside Terrick, she continued. "You...mistaken me..." Her hand went up to her mouth, as if smoking an imaginary cigarette. A silver smoke came out of her lips as she exhaled. She wrapped an arm around her waist as both arms stuck to her body. "Mmmmm..." She began to sway while moving the hand away from her mouth, drawing out what seemed like a silver ribbon, slightly translucent. Light seemed to refract onto the floor beneath the strange material. All this time her facial expression hadn't changed. ((Imma still making the set of techs....)) Raising an arm above her head, the ribbon floated and began to spiral down around the kusa-nin. I told you not to! Self-enjoyment comes from material creativity. Edited February 21, 2006 by Shirahime Quote
Terrick Sukrai Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Terrick was now starting to wonder if this was such a good idea... Though his curiosity was still there, his survival instincts were starting to scream something fierce.... "Ooookay then... If you're not Shira, who are you?" he said, while the scorpions had already leapt from him the moment those blue swirls had started coming out of her mouth. Terrick himself was ready to react at a moment's notice... Quote
Prophet Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 (edited) "Shrirahi....Whatever you are, I suggest you cease your actions now and tell us what happened to Shirahime!" Kazuma ordered authoratively, Tarak'nai circling around "Shirahime" and leveling his spear. Things look like they might get out of hand here....Best call in the cavalry. he thought as he formed the seals for Kuchiyose no Jutsu. Slamming his palm into the ground, a large cloud of billowing smoke appeared, then quickly dissapated as the creature he had called let out one large breath. "Nobody make any sudden movements." Kazuma called out as he addressed his new summon. "Kaza'nok....I need your help here. Restrain the young girl there if she tries to attack us, okay?" he commanded his Warrior Summon. The 7'8" porcupine reared up on its hind legs and grinned, revealing a mouth of needle-like jaws, shrugged the massive and wicked-looking axe on his shoulder onto his back and grunted affirmatively. Turning to face "Shirahime" he opened his massive arms wide, and took up an position opposite of his counter-part. Here's hoping he doesn't lose it like last time....I'm still paying for the damages he caused at the pavilion. Kazuma thought, sweat trickling down his spine. Cloudnine Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 "Me? I'm the wicked voice in my host's head who floats in a pool of fragrant lillies. Anything else?" Jikogiseihime...I hear them. Stop it! The ribbons spiraled from overhead to the ground. Bind. In what seemed like a flash of light, the laces closed at such a velocity that it seemed able to cut through flesh. Her hand came down limp to her side again. Come back here... What is it? You let me out and now you seek to imprison me again? Yes. Quote
Terrick Sukrai Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 The laces tore into Terrick used as they came down, but the grass-nin only twitched in response to the blood now going down one arm. He grabbed onto the lace, before speaking... "Guys, hold up a moment... No need to be hasty..." he said, holding a hand out as though to block the mist-nin's path. Turning back to Shirahime, or whoever was in control, he asked, "Alright then... Can we speak to Shirahime again please?" The blood was starting to drip down onto the floor, but Terrick's medical instincts said not to worry about it until Shira was back in control... Quote
Cloudnine Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 The laces dissapated into a visable vapor. Catching the laces in a hand, she returned the material back into her mouth, crimson liquid lining her lips. "I plan to do away with her...but see her if you please." You, wench, get. Shirahime blinked. I'm back? Her hand went up to her lips. Whats this taste? She looked at Terrick and everyone else. "I-I-I...I-I'm-" So dizzy... "Not Shirahime." A slightly wicked grin crossed her seemingly still face. Sending a fist to her throat, she swapped with Shirahime again. The hit connected. Ow... And Shirahime collapsed onto the floor. ((I was rolling dice as the bloodline rough draft instructed XD. She's back.)) Quote
Terrick Sukrai Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 "SHIRAHIME!!!" Terrick cried as he caught the girl. Frightened that she may have crushed her larynx, the young medic-nin checked to see if she was breathing or not... This time, he was taking no chances as he wrapped his cloak tightly around Shirahime's shoulders, keeping her hands at her sides for now. Lifting the girl back onto the bench, he called out to the bartender to get some water, while used a bit of his cloak to wipe the blood... his blood... off of her lips. "Come on girl, stay with us..." Quote
Cloudnine Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Shirahime looked into the gaps of her mind, seeing the strange spirit resting 'soundly' within a vast sea of water and floating lillies. The thin deprived figure floated facedown in the center, a skeletal frame for a single wing jutting painfully out from its back, the sore oozing yellow puss. You say you're strong, but you're nothing but cowardice. With a slight hoarse groan, Shirahime willed herself to come to. "I-I'm really s-sorry..." she whispered, checking to see if the spirit of Jikogiseihime was really asleep again. "I-I didn't want it t-to b-b-be that way," her voice rasped a bit as she was on the verge of either blanking out again or bawling. "A-are you o-okay?" Quote
Terrick Sukrai Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 "Sssshhhhhh, shhhh, it's alright... It's alright now..." Terrick said, holding the girl gently. "We're all fine... You didn't do anything... Don't worry about it..." Natasha was already by the two nins' side and was healing the slight wound on Terrick's arm, while glancing over at Shirahime with worried looks as well. The Kusa-nin took a glass of water from the bartender and gently set it to Shirahime's lips. "Here, drink this..." he said. Quote
Prophet Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 "Is she gonna be okay?" Kazuma asked Terrick nervously. Kaza'nok and Tarak'nai had bothed stepped back from the girl to allow room for treatment and were now taking up posts at the door, acting as bouncers. Please let he be okay, I'll never forgive myself if she doesn't make it. I shouldn't have pushed her into it.Kazuma thought morbidly to himself as he helped Terrick prepare a spot on the bench to lay Shirahime down on, stripping off his own jacket to serve as a makeshift pillow. This revealed the bandages covering his entire body as well as countless senbon peeking out from between the folds of the bandages and the sleeveless dark blue shirt he wore. Quote
Cloudnine Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Shirahime took a few sips of water before struggling into a sitting position. She blinked a few times and took some breaths to stop her throat from aching. "I-I'm fine." Another effect of the Odorikuruu wasn't just craziness and abnormal bloodlust- the other half of the savage art was the ability to restore health and energy when they fell to somewhat critical lows. "Sh-she wasn't supposed to t-take over entirely..." I really need to work on control. She's too fast. Quote
Terrick Sukrai Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 "She...?" Terrick asked cautiously. "So I take it that this was what you were talking about earlier, right? That trait you thought was passed down?" Quote
Prophet Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 "Please excuse me but you mean that was a normal thing for you?" Kazuma asked with a bewildered expression on his face. "Care to elaborate for us unenlightened?" he asked, very confused and scrathing his head vigourously. Quote
Cloudnine Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 Explainations are so hard... Shirahime thought, trying to find the right little strand to pluck in this giant yarnball of a story, so that it'd unravel with ease rather than having a milewide knot every two seconds. "Mm...its called Odorikuruu. T-to dance in a euphoric trance." The girl paused, wondering where to pull at next. "I-it was carried by the M-Muriyari clan a long time ago. Its f-feared and long d-dead. Th-the bloodline dispersed, b-but it's back again." Now what? "M-my parents realized I-I was able to revive this c-clan and..." Didn't like me for it. "Umm....one d-day, th-the deity who h-had fallen for beauty a-asked for a promise." Just like the starter of the Muriyari, Jikogiseihime. "Sh-she asked me for a material form wh-while she'll help m-me with my problems a-and make me p-pretty." Think that's about it, all summed up. She looked to Kazuma and Terrick to see if she was supposed to elaborate on anything. Quote
Terrick Sukrai Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 "A diety who fell for beauty?" Terrick thought aloud. "Can't say I heard of that before... Or of a Muriyari clan... But that may very well explain things if you have a bloodline just emerging... Without someone around to teach you properly, a bloodline can be as much a curse as a blessing..." He chuckled a bit. "That also explains why you're such a good dancer..." he said, trying to lighten the mood and make things a little more bearable for the konoichi. Quote
Prophet Posted February 22, 2006 Posted February 22, 2006 .....*Blink. Blink.* "I am so lost right now...although that could be because i had a lot to drink earlier." Kazuma joked, trying to lighten the mood and failing miserably. Quote
Nappers Posted February 23, 2006 Author Posted February 23, 2006 'Right, I've sat back and been the spectator long enough' Rei thought to himself. He slammed down his glass of water to gain the attention of the other ninja in the bar. The look on Shirahime's face was clear that she was in fear that he would once again 'disgrace the village'. "Right well, im going to make an announcement my fellow bar-flies", Rei picked up his glass of water and once again slammed it down, "For the next hour, I am going to run around the bar, and whoever successfully catches me I will give... One... Hundred dollars ((or whatever currency we'r using here))!!". Rei leapt of his stool and took a sprinters stance, "Ready??... GO!!" He took of with amazing speed, he ran around leaving a streak of black and purple which was the lasting image of his cloak. "Catch me if you can" Quote
Cloudnine Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 Shirahime smiled. It's nice to know that there's people like these. She felt a pulse from so far away. You agree too? Right. Then, she heard a friendly announcement from her fellow Sound-nin. Her blue eyes seemed to 'ca-ching' into dollar signs. Money was an obvious weakness of Shirahime. ((Just another one of those weird quirks.)) Hear that, beanpole? We get money! Seeing Rei run around in insane circles, the girl couldn't help herself anymore. "T-terrick...n-now that she's not coming back now...c-could you please loosen the cloak?" I'll just wait until Rei trips! Yes! Money! Quote
Terrick Sukrai Posted February 23, 2006 Posted February 23, 2006 Terrick's ears twitched at the other sound-nin's announcement. While not greedy, it would be CHILD'S PLAY to catch this sound nin as drunk as he was... Loosening off the cloak, he whispered into Shirahime's ear. "On the count of three, I'll trip him up, then you catch him, okay? Fifty/fifty!" Mitoki and Natasha were watching from the bartop, where the barkeep had conveniently left the rootbeer tap unattended... The smaller of the two spoke up first. "Five ryo says that Terrick's trick works..." Natasha looked over at her cousin, then gave a shy smile. "Ano... Mitoki-neesan.... I think I'll have to disagree... Since Shirahime-sama would know him better... I'd say she'll catch him first..." Mitoki smiled. "You're on!" Quote
Nappers Posted February 23, 2006 Author Posted February 23, 2006 Rei continued to sprint at an increadible speed, he had sobered up significantly since Shirahime had removed him from the stage, he had drunk almost five glaces of water by now. 'This is great, im having fun, and I'm getting some light excercise in'. As he continued to speed past the bar, tempting the nin at the bar to grab him, he yelled out with every passing.. "You'll.... "Never... "Get... "This... "Money!" Quote
