Rei Posted February 13, 2006 Posted February 13, 2006 Any info about that game? Main story and such. Quote
Guest Link Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 yes info can be posted. Or did you mean can I post the info for other people? Quote
Hardcore Skittlez Posted February 14, 2006 Posted February 14, 2006 I recently purchased the final copy of it at a backwater-type Kmart, and I love it. Battle system is very Star Ocean 2-y and I like that. Story seems to be typical "Chosen one Saves the world", though I am pretty sure there is a twist to it. Haven't gotton far enough to tell. Scale of 1-10... 9 Buy or rent? Buy Fo'Sho. Quote
Mokujin Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 Greatest RPG ever concieved by man... Simply put, it makes Chuck Norris look like GxB, except without the horrific mental scars, and disturbing images of *Censored for your protection*... Quote
Hardcore Skittlez Posted February 16, 2006 Posted February 16, 2006 I wouldn't go so far as to say that it is the "greatest", simply because my favorite game in all of existance is Legend of Dragoon. Quote
Guest Link Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 But its still one of the most addictive games there is. Quote
Hooligan Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Very true, it's a good solid game with an excellent battle system. Personally I've beaten and unlocked everything so I can assure you, there isn't much of a disapointment here other than the stereotypical storyline and characters. By the way Link no my username isn't from the game although Yggdrasil is a boss. Tales of Symphonia has several references to Norse Mythology which is where my username orginates. Yggdrasil is the tree of life which supports all the realms ranging from midgard to hel. Quote
Azure Posted February 17, 2006 Posted February 17, 2006 Three words: Awesome. XD any way, i have to say it is one of the best RPG's IMO, i just wish it had more anime movie clips on a side note, something similar is coming out on the GBA http://boards.gamefaqs.com/gfaqs/gentopic.php?board=582247 Quote
experimental lover Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 I wouldn't go so far as to say that it is the "greatest", simply because my favorite game in all of existance is Legend of Dragoon. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> LOD's battle system is horrible. I am not even going to argue on it. Quote
Hooligan Posted February 18, 2006 Posted February 18, 2006 Definitely, Tales of Symphonia's battle system beats Legend of Dragoon out big time. Hell the battle system was possible the best part about the game, that and the fact you could play with another person when in battle making playing with a friend fun. Quote
