Messianic Memoirs

A breath. An exhalation pierces the moment, shattering the time held precious in the sequence of a hopeful gasp. Upon release, the world grasped so tightly within the palm of the hand slips between the gaps of the fingers, and thus falls into the sodden grass once more. Born to die, the moment would rebirth shortly.

"Damn it all..."

The soft, placid voice proves surprisingly tranquil in the screech of a violent wind, tossing crimson bangs across ashen skin. This alabaster form, young and vibrant, lay beneath the canopy of trees, hiding from the gentle rain. In a lax manner, he opens his left eye to examine his surroundings, before raising a deft hand to his matted hair, rushing it thoroughly about the contents. With his index finger he traces a familiar scar; cut right through his eye, slicing even the pupil in two, no hairs of his eyebrow grow on the pink flesh of his skin, leaving a distinct memory blatantly visible to all those whom look upon him.

Rising to his feet, he brushes his fingertips across the damp bark, finding the unfamiliar and random changes in texture to be quite fascinating before he drops to his knees, rubbing his palms into the silent earth. Massaging the dirt between his grimy palms, he stares into the void of the mess, and loses himself momentarily before snapping out of his state of resensitization of the world.

He was a dreamer, the lad was, and it had been a while since he could relinquish reality for the sake of his imagination and childlike fascination with all that which is taken for granted in nature. That is to say, it had been so long since he could breathe once again.

Golden eyes open to the surroundings, drinking in the environment, as he brushes himself off. The elaborate kimono wrapped around his form, haplessly hung around his sleight shoulders, lay upon his subtle frame, hugging tight to his wet skin, itself dampened from the rain. Designs of roses dapple it, surprisingly feminine for his taste, but the presence of thorns seems to provide for the touch he required. Beneath this formal wear, he merely dons a simple pair of khaki pants, with several belts wrapped around his waist and thighs. Upon his feet, blackened gunmetal open-toe ninja shoes. Abdomen exposed to the environment save for several bandages, he is defined in muscularity, but not in regards to mass. Often times thought to be a woman, his slow, graceful mannerisms add to the mirage, as do his slight features.

A soft jaw, angled, golden eyes, and a feminine figure, he is indeed a spectacle.

Glancing around the open field, he sighs lightly, before running a hand through his lengthy bangs, following the action by massaging the small hairs upon the back of his neck.

"Truly...this place is boring..."

He mentions to himself, groping at the strings of a golden sheath at his side, the hilt of a japanese sword only visible from his waist due to the kimono.

"Surely, something will happen soon."

"There you are..." a voice interrupted seemingly out of nowhere, tracing a course, yet gentle breeze with a surprisingly softer tongue. There was a feint rustling behind one of the trees scattered throughout the background, clearly making little effort as to hide their current whereabouts. "Ow! Who the heck put that branch there..?" they questioned, as if there hadn't already been an obvious answer, and then, as if following cue, a simple form stepped out into plain view.

White, thinly layered hair danced most gracefully in the subtle wind, playing over the newcomers magnifantly colored, ice-blue eyes. Gentle curves running smoothly throughout the boys youthful countenance did well to accent his already handsome features, and an elegant, yet simple robe comprised of several different shades of blue gave some indication toward a noble upbringing. Although, looks could always be decieving. Bound in place delicately by a rather bland translucent blue sash, it provided excellent cover for a set of two intricately designed sheaths appearing a mix of gold and black, each housing a blade of differing size. Around the longest of the two, a gold piece of fabric had been fastened around its hilt.

A gentle hand met the boys lips has he let out a hoarse cough, clearing his throat soon after to remove whatever excess liquid still remained before offering a warm smile to the other. "I thought I'd find you out here. You always did have a thing for the outdoors." he laughed, cut short by another cough.

"Eh, have we met?"

Curious as to whether he was victim of an observer or of poor memory, the young man responds with his voice (often times mistaken for one similar to a young girl's) soothing and abrasive despite the circumstances. A certain edge was latched to his words, no matter how calmly or softly he attempted to get them across. As though a razor's edge was imbedded into the throat of one, such was the awkward feeling when he parts his lips to spill an inquiry or observation.

Touching his nose briefly to cure an itch, he shakes his head slowly, before folding his arms about his torso.

"Perhaps you have mistaken me for another..."

He notes thoughtfully, brushing aside a particular bang, before closing his intruiging eyes. Choosing to remain uneasy yet careful as opposed to open and kind, the young man reveals a certain flash of killer intent with a specific expression, testing the waters of the conversation and of the mood. Although his arms were about his chest, his fingers could still reach the fabric around the hilt of the blade, and his fingertips chose to dance around the threads, playing with them as if to keep his mind off of the awkward situation.

Inhaling slowly, he smiles as he approaches the other, eyes narrowing before closing as he wraps an arm roughly around the neck of the boy, and presses himself against him. In a rather graceful manner, he plants his lips against those of the other, if not only for a moment before withdrawing. Dampening his lips with his tongue, he smiles, before bringing his fingers to his lips, as if to commemorate the moment to memory.

"Ahah...you are indeed very sweet, eh? As if honey were upon your lips..."

He states coolly, smirking from the corner of his mouth. Enigmatic in the occurence, he seems to uphold a wavering aura, such that his gender preference be unknown. Furthermore, whether or not it was an action of passion or humor remained to be seen, especially after his withdraw, and drop of attention.

"Well then, what exactly is your business again?"

((Heehee, let's make this guy a little bit creepy))

The boys cheeks softened as he tilted his head down to the right, not sure what to make of this young 'man' standing before him. Had he been mistaken in his previous assumptions? Shaking his head as if assuring himself otherwise, the boy fumbled nervously over his words, his tone remaining cool, and composed as ever, yet lacking the same familiarity as before. "Err, perhaps I was mistaken..? Eheheh, no, you have to him."

Water began to form a slender pool beneath the sutle curveture of the boys narrow eyes. He snapped a cold gaze onto the stranger as if cursing his very existance. "Don't you even remember me?! It's me, Yomiko! Surely it hasn't been that long..." he whinced, turning away from the man once more.

((Excuse the crappy post. I'm so tired. -.-; ))

"Am I bothering you two?" Zetsumei asked. She then burst out laughing and fell onto the ground backwards. She was wearing the traditional kimono and a detailed dragon-covered golden hilt of a Kitana shone through it. "May I join you?" She asked. 'Heh' she thought, 'it won't matter anyway...'

Sorry if this is a bit cruddy... It is my first attempt at rp'ing

A feminine form slips out from the draping tree limbs. She gives a slight giggle as her black hair waves about in the wind. The lengthy curls of her hair seem to ripple like water with every breeze. She was smiling ear to ear, accentuating her high cheekbones, yet she still managed to let out a giggle.

"You boy's are so silly. The things you do when you think you are alone. A girl will never understand,” she states. Giggling more with every word.

She wore a kimono wrapped about her lithe form. It was a black kimono sporting purple dots of random size, and purple seams. The purple of her kimono brought out the violet of her eyes, which drawled in all who looked upon them. She walked up to the boy's and leaned forward somewhat, batting her eyes.

"So, what is going on? Something fun I imagine?” she asked. She was very direct, and seemed to exert an aura of confidence and grace. An odd mix that she pulled off with perfection.
