My high school Biology/Advance Pre-Medical Studies teacher grew up in the Stone Age (most of you will take this in the wrong way). She listens to Queen, etc etc. Does that answer your question?

No, because everyone listens to music older than they are. I listen to stuff fromt he seventies, as does jsut about everyone I know. I wasn't alive for the seventies. I wasn't even alive for the eighties. Hell, I'm too young to remember the first half of the nineties.

It is still considered this time's music. That, and just because you listen to stuff from the 80s doesn't mean many people do. Most kids nowadays listen to pop culture music.

I have a younger brother in this generation coming up, and I know one thing. Everyone need to find a way to take care of yourself, savings, investments, pension, whatever, because these thundercats aren't going to lift a finger. lol

But I'll be the grandpa still listening to his mp3's of Metallica, Linkin Park, and Depeche Mode.

haha i listen to the beatles so i know some classics but i admit that i'm not an expert on music, but it was just an interesting thought. I didn't rule out that we won't be listening to classics from the 60's 70's 80's 90's....but just that the "new age" music will be the oldies and 'emo' 'punk' and 'metal' were just some examples.

I think it's around 55. My question is...When do you guys think these old rockers will actually have their LAST Farewell tour? I love the old rock as much as anybody else man but watching the Rolling Stones perform live ain't what it used to be. My dad agrees and he used to absolutely love those guys.

When I'm old, I know I'll still be clinging onto my music. I can't understand how they'd turn to 'oldies' -shudders- Kinda scary when everything gets painted over with age. T.T

The only music I will consistantly always listen to is country, rock has so many faces it's insane, but I suppose we will listen to the music that we have when we were younger, just probably less loud because old people don't seem to like alot of noise and alot of music today is just noise.
