Kiba no Kuni, also known as the Country of Fang, is a medium sized country that sits between [[Hi no Kuni]] and [[Kaze no Kuni]], where it has been the battle field for may fierce wars between the ninja of each country. Despite a large base of war torn and misshapen land, this country holds the City of [[Nigiyakashufu]], Capital of the World. This gem of a city has kept the country on the map, with 95% of the population and wealth concentrated in the relatively small city territory. The eastern edge is consumed mostly by the large forests of Hi no Kuni, while the western edge consists of barren, fruitless lands and desert. In between is barren and un-vegetative land that had been torn and sundered from centuries of ninja and ancient warfare. To find a hospitable place among the barren and hilly terrain is near impossible and very few animals can survive in such harsh conditions.

The economy of Kiba no Kuni is based almost entirely on Nigiyakashufu. The city, and thus the country's, main export is in services, various training and minerals. Because of the harsh landscape and the almost complete inability to grow crops on a large majority of the country's land, much of the food that is produced in the country stays within the country. In addition, as a neutral state and a place for many countries who are even at war to meet, the Country of Fang receives annual donations of substantial amounts from the other ninja countries.

The terrain of Kiba no Kuni is mostly an inhospitable wasteland filled with large flat surfaces broken by rocky outcroppings. Water is hard to come by in the wastes, with ground water being the only hope for thirsty and unprepared travelers. The land itself is unfit for vegetation, and as such there is very little to be found throughout the heart of the land. Along the borders the land becomes fertile, forests on the eastern edge and flat grassland and savana plains in the west and southern coast.
