==History==

Aside from being born and raised during the tumultuous era of the [[Kumogakure Empire]] and the [[NCIA]], Midori had lived a relatively normal life, and because of the Empire's rule, her parents, Sakura and Juuichi, felt it best to keep her out of any form of a Ninja Academy and instead attempted to raise her with the best of intentions. Excellent schooling and nurturing of her natural intelligence led her to the desire of pursuing a career in medicine. From the ripe old age of eight, she could be found studying Biology, Anatomy and other such subjects normally considered too advanced for someone at that age. This, coupled with her parents' teachings, provided the foundation for her conservative nature, and no doubt contributes to her general attitude towards social situations.

Once the Empire and the [[NCIA]] fell, Midori began considering putting her desire to serve in some medical capacity into practice in the shinobi arts in some way. Continued instability in [[Kumogakure no Sato]] kept her parents ever more reluctant to allow her entry. Though, her incessant begging of her parents, combined with their desire to allow her to grow into her own and make her own decisions, contributed to her enrolment in the Academy later that year.

Now a twelve-year-old young woman and Academy graduate, she continues to pursue her desire to practice medicine, even if it's in a more unconventional field than anyone in her family had planned.
