Miso

Miso is a longtime member from Southern California. He is Ninja Academy's longest active member. Helping build and admin the original site on MSN Groups: NA 1.0 and NA 2.0. He also served as the second Tsuchikage from NA 2.0 and would relinquish the title to the eventual Ninja Academy owner and current Tsuchikage; Cntrstrk14. He is one of two members to have been apart of each installment of Ninja Academy in one way or another. Because of this, he fancies himself The Ghost of NA's Past and NA's Living History Book. As he can give a detailed account of NA's history from 1.0 to present.

Currently he serves as a basic member of the site. Preferring to simply interact and role-play than assume any role with responsibility. Prone to lengthy spells of inactivity, Miso never really leaves Ninja Academy.

Player Characters

Sarutobi Mako - A male Academy Student from Konohagakure. Born into the Sarutobi Clan in the early part of the new century. An academy student, not much is known of his ability as a ninja but he is considered to have a decent amount of latent potential. Despite being a late entrant into the current leaf academy class.

Yukimura Sanada - A male Jounin from Kirigakure and Miso's longest held character. He is a descendant of the Hisame clan but does not use the surname. His primary method of battle is the use of Ninjutsu but also boasting extraordinary talent in Kenjutsu. Named after the Japanese general OOC, Yukimura expresses clever tactics and a high level of intellect but remaining care-free and playful IC. He is the longest active character Miso has ever had.

Uchiha Edolian - A Gennin from Konohagakure, Edo is a gifted shinobi from the Uchiha clan. Orphaned as a child, he was the only player character based in the organization: ROOT. A promising prospect within the ROOT ranks. He placed the mission above all else and was as likely to harm a friend as he was an enemy but retained a bit of humanity by a loved one in his upbringing. Despite being an Uchiha, the character was retired because the play of the character required a lack of social skills and expression of emotion to remain true to canon. Currently retired.

Inuzuka Ōkami - Ōkami was a genius Gennin shinobi from the Inuzuka Clan of Konohagakure. He had a friendly childhood rivalry with Senju Ryuunosuke. Role-play with Ōkami never got to a start due to a slow process of resubmitting the clan's material and in-real-life matters to attend. At the time of Ōkami's creation, Miso ended up taking a long term hiatus from the game. He was the first character of Miso to earn a death roll bonus; Genius. Currently retired.

Senju Masato - A Gennin from Konohgakure and member of the Senju clan. One of the first Senju PC characters to be made with the official port of the Senju clan to the game. The compatibility for Miso with Masato didn't go to well and the character was never utilized. Currently retired.

Ryōhei - A Gennin from a penal colony near the Tea Country. He was a taijutsu specialist and joined Konohagakure's military ranks shortly after. The creation of Ryōhei was a quick fire decision after the retirement of Shiranui Kouga. The result was a character that didn't have much feeling for Miso and he was decommissioned. Currently retired.

Shiranui Kouga - An NCIA Gennin hailing from the Fire Country. His mother was a researcher for the NCIA and as a result, relocated to Nigiyakashufu in his early years of life. He enlisted into the NCIA and truly believed in the ideals of a unified world for lasting peace. After the Battle of Nigiyakashufu, Kouga had no place in the world and only sought to deliver the weapon of a deceased comrade to his father in the Fire Temple. It was then that he would decide to join the monks and retire from military service. OOC, with the fall of the NCIA, Miso deemed a loyal follower of NCIA unnecessary to the game and retired him. Shiranui Kouga was Miso's PC in his return to NA activity around NA 4.0. Currently retired.

Makura Koga - An Iwagakure Gennin from the Makura clan. After graduation, he was assigned to a team under the Jounin, Alchem Syaoran where he would undergo a test with two fellow Gennin to determine whether they were fit for service under Syaoran. OOC, this was Miso's first character for NA 3.0, when the game made the shift from MSN Groups to Invision Forum services. The character simply never panned out as Miso was constantly in and out of activity and thus retired from the game. Currently retired.

Zaku Zouri - An Iwagakure character made by Miso in Ninja Academy 2.0 on MSN Groups. The character was one of the first to reach the levels of Jōnin in the first iterations of the game and made use of many canon techniques such as Dance of the Crescent Moon. Upon dispute over training topics, the character was retired before the game switched from MSN Groups to Invision Forum services. Currently retired.

Trivia

• A running gag among all of his characters is the dislike of miso Soup. This was broken with the revamp of Sarutobi Mako in 2018, who's favorite food is miso soup.
• Although utilizing the username Miso, he oddly dislikes miso Soup. In the summer of 2018, this has changed with a new liking of the flavor of soup.
• Despite popular forum belief, Miso is actually a male.
• Enjoys making Wiki Pages and reading quality in-game battles.
