Similiar to the IAF, it contains a mixture of civilian and shinobi members, and are charged with specific information and operations that have to do with national security. Though it bears the name of the organizations origins and is usually associated with the the shinobi of Iwagakure, it is in fact a separate task force that works in conjunction with both Hidden Village and the elected government. The current head of this organization is unknown.

Rankings
The known ranking system of Iwagakure Intelligence is rather loose; members are simply referred to as "Intelligence Officers", or "Officers" for short. Sometimes this title becomes more specific, depending on what division the person in question belongs to [e.g. Interrogation Officer, Diplomatic Officer, etc]. There is no clear distinction in titles or rankings to differentiate between civilian or shinobi members.
