About
Born a half-breed of the Tetsushi Clan, Ren has all the skills and personality traits of his clansmen, if none of their looks. He spent most of his early years in Sunagakure with his mother, until with her unexpected death his guardianship was transfered over to his estranged father in the remote reaches of Kaze no Kuni. It was there that he learned the art of manipulating steel-jutsu and grafting it to himself, as well his stalwart aggressiveness. Despite his heritage and the skill at metal manipulation, his half-blood nature and differences in appearance made him a standout in his clan, turning him into a bit of a solitary outcast.
During the NCIA, a chance encounter with Ma'at Akilah led to him abandoning his clan and joining the desert renegade in an attempt to overthrow the Kumogakure Empire. Under her, and Takashuri Keito's tutelage, Ren became an effective Shinobi and valuable Resistance Member who was ruthless in his pursuit of the NCIA. With the fall of the Empire and the formation of SABAKU with Akilah at it's head, it was only natural that Ren stick with his mentor and join the ranks as well. While it is impossible to confirm, many believe that Ren's position in the organization is Second-in-Command, as he often serves as Akilah's right hand man.
