Personality

A relaxed man with a rather dry sense of humor, Ume contains prodigious talent that undermines his youth. A bit on the lazy side, Ume takes pleasure in the simple things in life, rarely seeking wild adventure or fame. A Genjutsu expert, Ume's mastery of illusions has quickly propelled him through the ranks of the Sunagakure ninja, despite his rather lackluster personality and drive. He is notorious for being the only known ninja in Suna to pass the Academy exam without actually showing up.

Despite his exceptional talent, Ume will regularly appear reluctant or unsure, knowing people see his age long before his experience. Combine this with his unique hair and eye color, Ume often feels that people rarely take him seriously. This usually makes him uncomfortable in group settings, due to his own lingering insecurities, and will often put him in a foul mood. However, regardless of his own personal reservations, Ume is quick to display his aptitude when challenged. If given the chance, Ume will end fights before his opponent even knows they've started, using his jutsu and speed to crush his opponents before they have a chance to react.
