Iko Rama

Iko Rama (イッコー・ラーマー Rama Iko) is a genin of Konohagakure created be Leon. Rama has been assigned to provide support and protection for the capital of Hi No Kuni, Hotarunoshi. Rama has supported many organizations through the years, coming into contact with notable shinobi such as Uchiha Tsukiyo, Aburame Hounoki, Uchiha Asahi, and Honochi Emil who has provided mentoring to Rama through his stay in Hotarunoshi. Together these shinobi formed the ill-fated Ember Initiative program.

Rama’s frame is realtive to his height. His shorter build emphasizes his muscular tone that leads to a slightly larger than average body mass for a man his height. As Rama focuses entirely on taijutsu his body is in peak physical condition and maintains a healthy tan due to time spent in the sun. Due to his physical practices Rama maintains little hair style, often opting for the most efficient haircuts (or going without hair on occasion). While Rama’s physical appearance rarely changes the boy utilizes several different outfits depending on the occasion. While most outfits offer freedom of movement a few heavily armored outfits provide for outstanding defense capabilities.

Personality

Rama’s personality is often considered stern and by the book due to his rigid appearance and attitude. Often seen criticizing other ninja due to their actions that violate rules or put others in danger, Rama likes to keep things under a certain sphere of control. He is often silent and rarely speaks unless he is informing or chatting with a close friend. Even during times like this he attempts to keep the conversation short. Rama could easily be considered as the “Silent Hero” type due to his affinity for going all out to keep people and civilians safe at all times and never accepting credit for doing so. He is a firm believer that it takes a team to accomplish a task rather than an individual person. Despite his views on speaking, Rama is easily leader material due to his stern voice and beliefs.

Morality: Rama is considered higher up in the morality scale and will often give people the benefit of the doubt unless he feels it would violate a mission. Rama goes above and beyond to protect innocents and teammates.

Belief: One of Rama’s key beliefs is the idea that hard work and loyalty can get a man to the ends of the Earth itself. It is due to this drive that he will continue to grow and impart his philosophy on everyone he meets. Rama believes that cowards and those unwilling to try are weak links.

About

An ordinary boy from birth, Rama displayed an aptitude for martial arts at an early age. As a child with no ninjutsu abilities, scarred from birth with bad tenketsu, Rama often practiced with the monks residing in his birth home of Hi NoTera. As a quiet and studious child Rama often earned the eye of his hardworking father, who, due to work, was away for a substantial period of Rama’s childhood. His father’s eye often became a shadow for Rama’s older brother Rasuke, eventually causing a dissolution of a once happy family. Following Rasuke’s departure Rama himself would soon leave from the family, hoping to one day reunite the group together. Utilizing a small set of skills provided by the NCIA allowed Rama to gain admittance as a Konoha shinobi where his wages often went to help support his family. Following his graduation Rama would be officially inducted into the Konoha Shinobi Corps, leading him into a life of adventure...

History

Amarillas

Following his inception into genin status Rama would be faced with an unusual predicament before gaining the tutorage of a jounin instructor. Rama was thrown into the midst of an investigation caused by a boy named Adohi, a young child who had been hunted by unknown shinobi. These shinobi violated Konoha’s defensive protocols and caused a contingent of young Konoha shinobi to come to Adohi’s aide. Having passed by the incident, Rama would find himself completely drawn into an interrogation where he would meet Uchiha Tsukiyo and Honochi Emil for the first time. While initially under suspicion Rama would come to be placed in a special mission to secure the village’s defense.

During the placement of a defensive sensor net around the village Rama would come into contact with Aburame Hounoki, who was attached to the group’s defensive duty. Following a day of sensor placement and “bonding” the rag tag team would eventually come face to face with Adohi. The ragtag team had been assigned the task of making Adohi talk, one which the team unanimously passed on to Hounoki. Following the inability for the team to procure information the group would be introduced to newcomer Uchiha Asahi, Tsukiyo’s own brother. Emil would move to have Adohi transitioned to Hotarunoshi, taking the young group of genin with him.

Days Gone By...

During his tenure with the ember initiative Rama learned of the harsh conditions facing the streets of Hotarunoshi. Knowing that the local government could do little to help outside of its jurisdiction Rama would take things into his own hands. Masking himself at night, Rama ventured into the dark world of Hotarunoshi in an effort to halt the growth of crime in the area by whatever means necessary. With Emil’s “blessing” Rama would take down several petty crimes before stumbling on a larger criminal organization run by Riyadi Tama, a local crime lord. However the most surprising knowledge discovered during this period was the fact his lost brother was heavily involved in the organization. Conflicted over his strong family beliefs, Rama began new training with Emil following the dissolution of the Ember Initiative in order to obtain the skill to confront his brother.
