The Prophet

The Prophet of Misogi is a reoccurring danger in Mizu no Kuni. Often rumored to be the bringer of bad weather, plagues or even kidnapping. Fishermen report boats disappearing in a cold, white mist before The Prophet appears. Small villages have known to go missing and swallowed by water after the white mist rolls through.

Appearance

A shadowy mass was dispelled from the mist to reveal a cloaked figure dressed in a peacock feathered coat and wraps like a mummy. His hair was unruly and dark, like rotten seaweed. He had a few tomes and scrolls dangling within his coat and a small pitcher hanging too. His eyes were dark and the only thing visible behind a golden speechless mask. --Description via Hisame Haruyuki.
