Hyuuga Jikiniki is the product of a series of dark experiments by NCIA loyal Otogakure no Sato scientists. A clone created from stolen Hyuuga DNA, since her escape and the NCIA's collapse she has been taken in by the Hyuuga Clan of Konohagakure no Sato, reuniting those whose genetic material created her with those they lost.

Appearance

Hair: Wild and unruly black spikes just up in jagged peaks atop her head save for the two spikes of hair which form her fringe. She is exceptionally proud of her hair, the standard Hyuuga hair is long and flowing, and these wild blades help her stand out when gathered with her clansmen.

Eyes: The standard pallid Hyuuga lilac that signals a bearer of the legendary Byakugan. Though she is still young, Jikiniki favours using dark eyeliners to help make her Byakugan stand out more, inspiring fear in those who see it (or so she hopes).

Clothing:

• Ninja: Jikiniki's general attire is a two part uniform, the first element being the tight, dark pink, cropped tube top that clings close to her skin, but leaves most of body free. While it provides little armour, it maximises the amount of skin she can freely push chakra out of, allowing her unrestrained freedom in utilising her clan's signature techniques. The lower half of her standard dress is a pair of long purple hakama which is crafted of a light material that aims not to restrict her movement, and because she thinks the way they move in the wind looks the coolest. She finishes her outfit off with pointed black boots and wrist bracers.
• Formal: Like many of the Hyuuga, Jikiniki's formal attire is long, flowing robes of white decorated with the yin-yang symbol traditionally found on much of the Hyuuga's official attire. Beneath her robes she wears a tight black bodysuit, and in place of her boots she wears simple sandals. The sleeves of the robe carry long past her hands, allowing her to obfuscate her movements if she is forced to battle in her dressware.
• Civilian: When her goal is to go 'undercover', Jikiniki wears a steel visor with dark glass obscuring her eyes, and dresses in a loose mid-drift halter top and knee length purple skirt. She wears thicker, more rounded boots when blending in, but she retains the arm bracers she favours from her combat attire just in case things go south.

Description: Jikiniki is above the average height for her age, standing a good few centimetres over her classmates. Her build is slight and athletic, no doubt a result of her gruelling martial arts training regime. Her features are well developed for her age, no doubt a by-product of her engineering, and much of her appearance looks like it was lab tested and engineered for peak efficiency. Her facial structure is sharp and angular, her body deceptively slight, she's taller than most and moves with the practiced grace of a Juuken warrior.

History

Creation

Hyuuga Jikiniki was not born, at least not in a conventional way. When the deal was struck to hand over members of the Hyuuga main clan to the Kumo Empire, a group of Otogakure scientists who had pledged their loyalty to the growing power of Kumogakure got their hands on the genetic material of many of the captured Hyuuga. Their fates sealed, few if any survived the experimentation, but from it began a programme known internally as the HJ Initiative. Though records have long since been destroyed, Jikiniki occasionally gets flashbacks, and what she has remembered has taught her that she wasn't the only product of their deranged work, at least for a while there was others. Her earliest years she spent with two other children, HJ007 and HJ010, with whom she plotted her escape. When the war began to turn against Kumogakure, they were quick to have all evidence of their wrongdoings dismantled, and that meant bringing the HJ Initiative to a violent, fiery end. In the chaos, Jikiniki fled but was separated from her friends, whom she could not find no matter how hard she searched. Lost, cold and wounded severely, Jikiniki passed out in the forests, only to be discovered by a roving group of Hyuuga resistance fighters, who recognised her Byakugan and took her in.

Early Days

Jikiniki was inducted into the Hyuuga in secret, labelled a war orphan on paper and hidden away in the compound. When they grew to realise she aged at a much faster rate than those children around her, it became increasingly difficult to forge her identity into one that wouldn't raise questions. Thankfully for Jikiniki, Hyuuga Yatako, the Hokage and clan head of the Hyuuga, had the means and resources to keep those who looked too deep off her back. She was enrolled into the academy in 2111, and began her training immediately with both education in shinobi life and duties at school and in the Hyuuga's clan techniques at home. She was haughty and struggled to make friends, but always made a good showing in her classes, sitting just above average in every area she applied herself. It was as though her body remembered large parts of what she was being taught, and she wasn't so much learning it as remembering. To those who knew her origins, these genetic memories were a source of surprising interest, perhaps if Jikiniki could be made to remember elements of combat, she might too be able to remember facets of the Hyuuga who gave their lives so that she might be created. Alas, thus far they have had little success, but the same could not be said of Jikiniki. She undertook the bell test alone, an experience usually reserved for entire teams, and with cunning guile caught her jounin teacher off guard, ending the test as suddenly as it had begun. She was also fortunate enough to witness a high level spar between wielders of the legendary Sharingan of the Uchiha Clan, and watching their battles has started to crack the walls around more of the locked genetic memories at the back of her mind.

Genninhood

In 2114, three years after entrance to the academy, Jikiniki graduated, and has started her career as a true ninja. She is yet to be assigned a team or teacher, instead opting to skip the assignment ceremony to sneak in her first real mission. She is unsure where the future will take her, but her growing power will no doubt equip her for whatever trials lay ahead.

Trivia

General Public Knowledge, IC

• Jikiniki is the name of a corpse eating demon of legend.
• She compulsively chews on tooth pics, and grows incredibly embarrassed if anyone mentions it to her.
• While in the academy she developed her own form of Juuken, the Eight Trigrams Eight Palms technique, as an introductory expression of Juuken. Her teachers were amazed with her ability to do this.
• While she lives with the Hyuuga, no one claims to be her direct parent, and what paperwork is available usually lists her as a war orphan.
• Jikiniki has grown surprisingly quickly, despite her young age she almost appears as a woman fully grown. Officially she just has developed early, but there are theories in the village that suspect other, darker reasons.
• Jikiniki does not have a belly button.

Private Knowledge, IC

• Jikiniki's real name is HJ009. She grows frightened and defensive if ever she hears it.
• HJ009 implies that there were eight previous iterations of the HJ Initiative, and her own memories inform her that at least one was created after her. The fate of the other HJ projects is unknown.
• Jikiniki is incredibly paranoid about the NCIA, and does not believe they are gone. She was raised to believe they would always be with her, and even though none have been active around her for years, the fear remains strong.
• Jikiniki grows at an accelerated rate, the exact metric of which seems rough to predict. She believes her ageing will stop once she reaches her peak physical age, though as none of the earlier HJ projects have turned up, knowing for sure what fate awaits her is impossible.

Fun Facts OOC!

• Visually, Jikiniki is represented by the Universe 6 Saiyan Caulifla, with a Byakugan poorly edited into her by Princess.
• Thematically, the character was inspired by Eleven from Stranger Things, mixed a little with a slight reflavouring of Saiyan genetics from Dragon Ball Z.
• Jikiniki is the first cannon clan character Princess has made.
• A lot of Jikini's origin takes place during events that happened before Princess joined the RP, thus history is in many ways being rewritten to accommodate this character. Somehow Princess keeps getting away with it.
