The Crimson Dawn this the codename for the rebellion charge of the Konohagakure no Sato Resistance. It became an attack on several fronts, including the battle at Konohagakure no Sato and Hotarunoshi Capital.

Blazing Aurora

The ruins of Hoturunoshi.

Traveling by airship back to Konohagakure no Sato, Hyuuga Yatako’s vessel was brought down in the city of Hotarunoshi, firefly city. Upon his crash, his crew was scattered but only one Iwakagure shinobi stood by his side. Eventually he would lose that man in confronting a sect of NCIA, but he was rescued by a group of samurai. His next path led him to discover a group of roughed up resistance fighters led by a man named Akimichi Jagaimo. His crew was mostly Gennin and Chuunin and despite Yatako’s convincing they spared him useful information and began their trudge home. He learned the direction of the Daimyo’s palace and that he had with him four elite guardians.

After he left that group, he came across a man hiding in ruins. Yatako approached the man, holding his blade Kinen to the man’s throat under suspicion but it turned out he was Sarutobi Zakarou the leader of the resistance forces in Hotarunoshi. Yatako’s next task was rescuing Aburame Xiang, Zakarou’s lieutenant. Yatako infiltrated the location he believed Xiang was in and discovered the Aburame had done away with one of the guardians. The two made their way back to Zakarou and used Yatako’s strategy of leading out the remaining guardians to protect the civilians. Their plan was successful, drawing out two of the guardians. The sand manipulator clasped on Yatako’s leg while Xiang distracted the Nara woman. Once the two guardians were separated, Yatako subdued Nara Natsuko and convinced her to return home to her son. He had redeemed her and was joyous at that feat. Zakarou fought against Yatamaru in a sand prison, but he had won his victory. After that battle, the two division split up. Zakarou and Xiang decided to handle the last guardian and Yatako was to deal with the Daimyo.

Inside of the Daimyo’s tower, Yatako met with a cycloptic man as the secretary. He claimed that the daimyo had left the city and Yatako’s troubles were in vain. The Hyuuga wasn’t convinced of the man and attested arresting him. Yatako charged him with being the Daimyo, which brought out the truth in the situation. Yoshida Arashi revealed himself as his real identity and the two honorable men traveled to the top of the tower to finish their duel. It was remarkable how honorable the Daimyo was and after the two tried to convince the other to join their sides their brawl was inevitable. Arashi unveiled the legendary Sharingan and he had even achieved the Mangekyo by killing his best friend. The two exchanged an even amount of blows and the two were evenly matched to a certain degree, until Arashi began to use techniques utilizing his Cyclops crimson eye. When Yatako destroyed Arashi’s clone, he exploded part of the tower, but that wasn’t enough to keep Yatako down. After his recovery, Arashi took a modified soldier pill and offered Yatako one too. The Hyuuga took the pill, but stowed it away instead, hoping that he could use it to save Arashi. The Daimyo attacked with his greatest technique, a heavenly lance which Yatako tired to deflect with Kinen and then it had struck Gensai’s hitai-ate. The lance exploded in back of him and caused the Hyuuga to stumble back in to the ruins. He was able to recover from that by catching a glimpse of the Essence of the Otherworld, Chouzou’s parting gift.

Arashi was nearly tapped of chakra now and used his summoning tattoo to call Manda from the plane of summons. Yatako responded with summoning the Hawk King Taiyoutaka to battle the beast. Once Yatako took the skies, the two confronted and Yatako separated man from beast and brought the two to the ground. With his last bit of perseverance, Yatako tried one last time to convince Arashi to choose life instead of death. Arashi revealed his story to Yatako and wished to die in their battle. Against his own soul, Yatako finished off Arashi with his development of the Terror of Konoha, reducing Arashi;s body to ash and spreading his ashes across the city. Taiyoutaka defeated Manda, but Yatako had a mental breakdown. He felt all of the death he caused over the years and nearly gave up being a shinobi if a small girl named Azumi hadn’t come along and convinced him that he was their protector, their Silver Sentinel. Yatako recovered, even more stronger in his heart than he was before and awakened the Amtsumiko Byakugan.

Sunrise

An incident of running into spirits in the Academy.

Soujiro split with Takumi, leading his group into village itself, where they would be attacked upon entry. The Gennin would be swallowed up in a cage, that they would soon bust out of. to the shinobi's dismay, Soujiro had Tsukasa put them all into a dream-state where the trio would be able to take them to a save place while preparing them for what would come. In their dream, Soujiro was going to destroy the village and they needed to stop him. They were facing a monstrosity that they couldn't hope to survive, he attacked them physically and emotionally. They were successful at stopping him despite all odds and were not happy to be toyed with. The dream linked all of them together, training for what would happen later that day. Soujiro showed them all their 'Will of Fire'.

Hohken Soujiro informed them that the day was special in that the Daimyo was visiting the captain of the NCIA in the area. They were going to strike that day and kill two birds with one stone. Soujiro led the crew down the streets with Chuunin clearing the way with sprays of flames. They were able to make their way to the Ikatsu bakery, as another stronghold defense. There was a secret entrance in to the Hokage's tower in the basement. Entering into the secret entrace, there was a labyrinth they the group had to navigate through to get to the end. The maze was full of traps, many were poisoned, but Tuskasa ended that up. All the paths ended up in a large tunnel, but one group and Noel fell into a prison.

The prison group had to search skeletons to find a key out of their cell. Once they had succeeded in that, they entered in a rool crawling with living skeletons. they were being attacked by the dead in a huge chamber that reeked of secrets and death. They had to fight their way to the top, through the skeletons and ghouls. At the top, they rode an ancient elevator up to a meeting room.

Soujiro and Tsukasa led the remaining group through another shaft in the tower, breaking into the lower level of the tower. Soujiro and Tsukasa held off the surrounding soldiers in the area as the Gennin left to shut down the security sensors. The crew was able to lock down the tower and keep everyone in and whoever wasn't in was not going to be getting in. Soujiro took the group to a room just below the roof of the tower, where they met up with Noel and crew again.

On top of the tower, the group listened to the Daimyo meeting with NCIA captain. The Daimyo threatened to usurp the power from the captain and lead the country over his rule, the rule of Hyuuga Sai. The captain was elusive, never being seen or heard from. However, as he was talking, his seven guards died like clockwork. As it turned out, the one who passed himself off as Hyuuga Sai was a puppet controlled by Kohashi Rokku who used his bloodline to stay invisible. When the bell tower tolled, the captain, Shiro-Akuma Taizen used a dark elemental jutsu to suck the life out of the crowd at the bottom of the tower. Soujiro told the group to "Remember the dream," before engaging his with his twin black daggers. the seven fallen guards were raised from the dead and possessed by Taizen's chakra and began attacking the group. Tsukasa and Noel held off five of them while the Gennin took on two of them. They guards went down again, but Taizen used his bloodline to resurrect them again, this time taking on the personifications of emotions. They were much more powerful now and the only way to defeat them was to kill the connection to Taizen through fish saplings. They were finally successful and Taizen called upon his spirit partner to open the gates to the dead.

By using the jutsu "Shinzuiton: Choujikuu Seki Suibou" (Spirit release; Super-dimensional Gate Collapse), Taizen broke the threads between this world and the next and spirits began to pour out into streets of Konohagkure. In a bright flash of light, the group would be enveloped again, finding a dead soul to anchor them. They were all met with someone they lost. Soujiro was met with his sister, Tsukasa with his parents and Noel to the gates of Heaven. Soujiro saw through the illusion and tore through the dimension to rescue Tsukasa. With the group breaking free of the dream, Noel summoned a choir of angels to shut the gate to the dead realm while Soujiro finished the battle. By using two scred tiger teeth relics, Soujiro used the jutsu "Gyokuji Hakobune" (Sovereign Ark)to seal Taizen and himself in the teeth. Their souls in the pearl tooth and their bodies in the onyx tooth.

Emerald's Advance

Hyuuga Takumi led an additional task force team parallel to the assault on Taizen. After defeating the NCIA spider soldier from Otogakure and escaping from the Forest of Death Fire, Takumi split his forces to disable the two sentry towers hovering over the villages. He attacked the right tower while Hyuuga Mizumono (the girl hunted, leading to The Destruction of Kinomi no Toshi) took the left tower. The two groups were successful, taking out the communication of the NCIA in the village. They were deaf and the group migrated to the Funnika Inn, second floor, eighth room for a meeting with the resistance.

When the meeting commenced, the bell tower rung and Taizen unleashed his technique that sucked the life out of the citizens. On the ground floor, the resistnace's goal was the evacuate the citizens that had accumulated there to hear the message. The group split up, with Souji and Takumi taking on the higher ups of the NCIA that were present at the summit. In the final strike against the command, Takumi knocked the commander unconscious, but there were still plenty of battles raging on in the streets. Above in the tower, Hohken Tsukasa looked down and cast a powerful Genjutsu which caused everyone to fall into a deep sleep. NCIA were tied up, the wounded were healed and the leaf was finally free.
