Hanabi Hinoko

Hanabi Hinoko was a Chuunin of the the Village Hidden by Rocks, otherwise known as Iwagakure no Sato. He was born in Metropolis on the day his father died and lived in the city during the NCIA reign. Once the NCIA had been brought down, Hinoko willingly enrolled in the Iwagakure Ninja Academy in order to do the memory of his father proud. After the Academy, Hinoko was taken in by his father's brother and was taught the ways of his clan. Shortly after beginning his training, it became clear to the Hanabi clan that Hinoko was far more talented than the average clansmen. After two short years, Hinoko had managed to master far more of the Hanabi bloodline than most of the current members. From there he took on the Shinobi world on mission, one obstacle and one day at a time.

After being promoted to Gennin, Hinoko was placed in the care of Kameel Figaro. Her instruction helped Hinoko grow exponentially in skill. While he trained rigorously under Kameel's keen watch, he took on many D Rank missions, involuntarily for the most part. He hated every second of each mission and whined and complained nearly endlessly. However, he always completed his missions, often attempting to go above and beyond what was necessary in order to show off.

One of the final missions Hinoko went on was a security detail in the Metropolis Stadium. There, he met Xiu Juon. A chuunin with a giant personality and a diminutive stature. Together, the two of them covered their designated area, until a suspicious man in a green hoodie caught their attention. As the two of them followed the man underground, they ended up under the stadium and found a plot that would lead to disaster. The supporting pillars under the stadium were rigged to explode with enough force to take out most of the participants as well as the spectators and most of the city. Together, Xiu Juon and Hinoko managed to take down the man in the green hoodie and avert the bombing.

After recovering from the events of the Chuunin Exams, Hinoko decided to participate in the Arrakis Ninja Arts Tournament. Within his bracket, Hinoko squared off against three other gennin of great strength and skill, losing to only one of them. The skills and experience that he took from the tournament was more than he ever expected to learn from training alone. As the victor of his bracket in the Tournament, Hinoko had finally done something to place himself on the road to fame.

It was short lived however. As soon as Hinoko had returned home he was promoted to Chuunin rank and recruited to try out for the Explosion Corps. It was during this trial in a cave somewhere, where Hinoko came across his first obstacle. A twisted version of himself. Ultimately, Hinoko did not survive the trial and his short life with endless potential came to an end.
