Tsubasa was born in the Country of Fire within the village of Konohagakure no Sato in the fall of 2095. He never knew his parents as he was abandoned at birth and left on the doorstep of an orphanage near the market of the village. Growing up, Tsubasa was very content with his life, playing with the other kids and going to classes within the walls of the orphanage. The religious monk, who overlooked the orphanage and all of the children there, was an elderly man near his seventies by the name of Ro Yoshi. Tsubasa felt especially attached to him as he grew up, always looking up to him as a father figure, and within the orphanage it was Tsubasa who was closest with Ro-sensei. Ro himself was an older religious monk who had never become a ninja, but had strict mental discipline. As he grew, the village inducted the orphans into the ninja academy, and while the academy taught Tsubasa to strengthen himself physically, it was Ro-senei that taught him to become strong mentally.
Tsubasa was only eleven when the Empire was formed, Kumogakure no Sato invaded and quickly took over the village. The jounin, not wanting the young being shipped to the Country of Fang to work for the NCIA, burned all of the records of the current students of the academy. Because of this, Tsubasa and the other orphans were able to stay and live in Konoha under the radar of the empire. Most of the orphans gave up on their ninja style, but Tsubasa continued to study the arts of the mind from Ro-sensei, strengthening his mind and doing physical training to improve his taijutsu. He did not dare to try using or improving his ninjutsu style while the village was occupied by the NCIA, and because of such he did not develop in that field as well as the others.

When the resistance movement rose in Konoha, Tsubasa wanted to go and join them, but Ro-sensei would not let him for reasons unknown. So as the resistance failed to free the country, Tsubasa sat on the side and watched, reading the news of the NCIA victory and remembering the sinking feeling in the pit of his stomach as he did. It was during this time that the headaches started, every day while training Tsubasa's head would begin to hurt, right behind and above his left eye. Ro-sensei gave him some medicine, thinking that the young boy was merely getting migraines. After a few weeks though, it was apparent that these were not normal headaches. Tsubasa found that if he covered his eye for long enough the pain would go away. As such, Tsubasa started covering his left eye with a medical patch after multiple visits to the Konohagakure no Sato hospital turned up nothing wrong with him. He was perfectly healthy, but he continued to get headaches if his eye was exposed to light.

It was not long after this that the NCIA came to the orphanage, looking for Tsubasa. Somehow they had found out about his ninja training, and they wanted to take him away to be recruited to the NCIA as an emergency draft. He did not have a choice, and was quickly shuttled off to the Country of Fang and placed in the Centralized Ninja Academy.

Surprisingly, Tsubasa found himself warming up to this girl more quickly than others, and their other teammate Hayake Musume was just the same. Unfortunately, they were together a brief time before the resistance invaded the capital and forced them to flee. While trying to escape, the three of them would become locked in combat with an opponent who was much more skilled than them. Tsubasa and Musume teamed up however, and were able to vanquish the enemy and escape the city. It was in this fight that Tsubasa first began to learn of his eyesight, the strange curves and grooves he saw in the enemy helped him in claiming victory, though he had no idea what they meant. The three were broken up in the confusion though and split into separate groups. Once the fighting had died down, Tsubasa would fall in with the Konoha ninja of the resistance and claim citizenship for a free ride back home. However, it would not be that easy.

History

Chapter 0; Prologue
Tsubasa was born in the Country of Fire within the village of Konohagakure no Sato in the fall of 2095. He never knew his parents as he was abandoned at birth and left on the doorstep of an orphanage near the market of the village. Growing up, Tsubasa was very content with his life, playing with the other kids and going to classes within the walls of the orphanage. The religious monk, who overlooked the orphanage and all of the children there, was an elderly man near his seventies by the name of Ro Yoshi.

Chapter 1; Centralized Ninja Academy
Within the Centralized Ninja Academy, Tsubasa was slow to make friends. He was angry to be in the position that he was in, and upset at being taken from his home. He eventually met a girl who lived at the academy named Reimon Kairu, a genin like himself. Surprisingly, Tsubasa found himself warming up to this girl more quickly than others, and their other teammate Hayake Musume was just the same. Unfortunately, they were together a brief time before the resistance invaded the capital and forced them to flee.

Chapter 2; I Went To The Store To Get More Fire
Tsubasa would follow the group of Konoha ninja back to their homeland, and in transit find out that just because the NCIA had been defeated in the capital did not mean they were just turning themselves over in each of the hidden villages. They would have to fight to get Konoha back. Led by the jounin Soujiro, Noel and Tsukasa, the team of younger ninja were able to infiltrate the village into the Hokages Tower itself. Along the way Tsubasa ran into many new faces, including a curious young girl who was disguised as a young boy. In the end, the combined effort of the younger ninja along with the three jounin was enough to overthrow the NCIA in the streets and restore peace to the village. In the final portions of the fight though, Tsubasa was able to use his eye once again to see the strange grooves. They led him to find the weak points in the enemys defenses and because of them he was able to strike one of the raised men for a serious amount of damage. Could it be possible that these lines were showing Tsubasa the weaknesses in his enemies?

Chapter 3; Wake
In the aftermath of the final battle for Konoha, Tsubasa learned of the death of his adoptive father figure, Ro Yoshi. He had not died in the battle, he had died before while Tsubasa was in the Country of Fang. There had been a man by the name of Jin Tombu who was an agent of the NCIA at the time. He did not even have any training as a ninja, but he did have a large amount of alcohol in his system the night that he took his sword out amongst the night crowd in the market. It was Ro Sensei, who had been out on a walk that night among the festival marketplace, who told Jin that he was out of line and needed to put down his weapon. The medical technicians were unable to tell if he died of loss of blood or drowning, either way it did not matter. Jin Tombu was put on trial and sentenced for his crime against a civilian by the NCIA, but when the first resistance forces attacked the village he was released to fight. He died in the first waves of fights, caught in an explosion. Did he regret what had happened? Had he been remorseful?

Chapter 4; Pupa
Two weeks after the news of Ro-senseis untimely end, Tsubasa returned to the Hokages Tower for an assignment. At this point Tsubasas head was a turmoil of confusion and lost hope. The assignment was simple enough, find a man by the name of Sinoto who had been MIA since the battle over Konohagakure. Though Tsubasa assumed the man had been killed, he went through the motions of the assignment anyways. After some investigation, Tsubasa found that the man had been left by his girlfriend and mother of his two children for another man, and he had only realized it on the resistances return. Also, the area that he had gone MIA in had been quarantined because of a dangerous gas used during the battle.

In addition, he also found that Sinoto had been the one to release the gas, taking his own life and countless NCIA in the area, halting their movements to flank the resistance forces. It took at least 20 hours for the rescue team to dig through and pull Tsubasa out of the hole. During that time he discovered that despite his mood since the death of Ro-sensei, he still had a primal desire to live and succeed.

Persona

Personality:
Tsubasa has a very complex personality due to his current situation in life. He is easily agitated to be aggressive, especially if he feels threatened. Underneath though he is a rather kind and caring person, but recently he has been hard to reach out to due to his constant headache pains. Tsubasa is not very patient, waiting for a long period will either cause him to complain, or more likely, get up and do something to speed things along. Overall though, Tsubasa is confident in his abilities as a ninja, and is willing to fight if he believes in the cause or reasons. Sometimes though, his confidence causes him to be cocky around others, trying to impress them himself. He will often not work towards a goal that does not interest him or appeal to him. He also has a slightly twisted sense of humor, finding irony in things other people wouldnt. When he finds a goal that is worth moving towards, Tsubasa's ambitious tendencies show through, and he will do just about anything to win.

Since the death of Ro-sensei, Tsubasa has slowly become less and less in touch with humanity, removing himself slowly from the world and caring less and less for what happens to others aside from himself. During his teen years he spent time trying to figure out what his purpose was and what he was too do with his life.
