Yamamoto Hiruki was the Juuichidaime [[Hokage]] of [[Konohagakure no Sato]]. In retrospect he was criticized for being a mediocre Hokage, but in reality, he was fairly competent. Biography
Hiruki was a normal shinobi and there was not much to be said about him distinctly. He graduated average of his class, but the thing about him that resonated with people was that he was especially good with discovering potential in people and scenarios and exceeding it. He was often quite successful. He steadily rose his ranks through the village and even into ANBU, but he was never really known. Perhaps the greatest feat on him was his knowledge of glass ninjutsu and martial art knowledge.
When the Hokage announced that they were at war with Kumogakure, Hiruki was the first to spread the news. His name became obvious when he was selected to remain with Konpeki and yet survived the battle. He heard the last words orders of the Hokage before his disappearance and carried them back to the hidden alcoves of the resistance. When the smoke cleared, he was rumored to be elected Hokage because of his emotional adaptability. Instead Sarutobi Mari had been slid back into office while Hiruki was further being molded into leadership. In a matter of weeks, he had a stable system that allowed Konoha to survive under the foot of the empire. His optimism inspired many shinobi to begin their careers and defact from the Empire. After Mari had disappeared, he was instilled as Hokage. Seven months in to his term, he was carrying out a mission that would open a spy network between villages. He overestimated the benevolence of his compatriots as they turned out to be Kumogakure insurgents. During the meeting he was slain by Chouzou.
