Summary

Hayashi Tetsuo is a Chunin Ranked Shinobi from Kumogakure specializing in swordsmanship style ninjutsu taijutsu, Tetsuo is also one of two Jinchuriki that currently live within Kumogakure, his yokai Gakiyume the Fear Eater.

Background

Hayashi Tetsuo, was born on the seventh of April in the year 2099, to his two loving parents, Naomi and Akihiko. Being born and raised within Rai no Kuni as they had by their own parents in the generation before was something they wanted to continue with their son, Akihiko was one of the countries top swordsman, in a world of ninjas this was no small feat to accomplish. He enjoyed nothing more then spending his time with his son, who could do nothing but smile and laugh at his antics, his mother equally finding joy in their goofing around. Tetsuo was still young when the war broke out and the NCIA attempted to take over the world. Being from the lightning country, Tetsuo’s parents were drafted into the defense of the country and the attempted take over of the surrounding areas as well, leaving Tetsuo back within the country of lightning with he other children who had been left behind by their parents who were off fighting. The weeks that he was at the children’s home were complete hell for Tetsuo, his parents had somewhat sheltered him from the harsh reality of the real world, where other children would make fun of him for his size, or his crimson red eyes that really stood out within the lightning country.
Each night he would pray his parents would show up the next day to take him away fro this god-awful place, with those prayers going unanswered time and time again. Weeks passed and felt as if they were years, he had received two messages from his parents in the time they had been gone, letting him know that they were alright. However the last message came almost two weeks ago, he hadn’t heard anything since, and then one day while he was sitting outside just watching people go by around him, twiddling blades of grass between his fingers out of boredom, a cloud ninja walked over to him. “Hey there little guy, are you Hayashi Tetsuo?” Tetsuo stared at the man for a moment, briefly wondering if he should answer the mans questions, “Um. Yes, who are you?”
The man let out a sigh of relief, “My name is Kazuto, I was sent here by the Raikage, I have some unfortunate news for you I am afraid. Your mother and father were taken captive by one of the rivaling villages, we just received notice of their deaths this morning.” Tetsuo’s eyes widened with disbelief, was this real? The serious look of sorrow on the mans face told him that it was indeed real, he tried pinching his arm to wake himself from this horrible nightmare, but it did nothing other then break his skin and draw some blood, he began to sob uncontrollably. “But they….how…why?” Kazuto knelt down to Tetsuo’s level and gave him a hug, it was all he could think of to do for the poor boy after seeing his reaction, “Its alright Tetsuo, we of the lightning country take care of our shinobi, and that includes our shinobis children when unfortunate things like this happen. We have set up a line of credit in your name that has a balance of what we owed your parents for their years of service to our village, the amount of money within that should be able to sustain you until you come of age and are able to make it through the ninja academy, you are going to attend the academy right?”
Tetsuo reeled at the question, “Of course I am, its what my father would have wanted me to do.” Kazuto was impressed at the amount of respect and initiative being displayed by the young boy, he gave him all of the necessary information and brought him to a place he could rent out for the time being at a lower price, thanks to a bit of influence from the raikage himself, the boys rate was very reasonable for his age, and amount of money that he had overall. Tetsuo unpacked his things and made his bed for the night, he would need some rest, because tomorrow he was going to register for the academy and begin his road to becoming a ninja for the lightning country. He had to, not only to respect the memory of his dead parents, but because he had to prove to himself that he could become one of the strongest shinobi to ever walk this earth, he would prove to the world that his dads fighting style was one that was to be feared and respected, he would not let their deaths be in vain.
Years passed by and Tetsuo was now the age of sixteen, he had just recently graduated form the academy in the past week, and was looking for a source of income to ensure his bills are paid off until he can start completing missions for the village, so he went to this general store that was on the corner of the neighborhood his flat was in, maybe they would give him a chance working in the store part time to make some extra cash. He walked into the store and was greeted by a seemingly very nice lady, he inquired about the possibility of them needing extra employees part time, and of course she asked about his age. Confessing he was sixteen, with no parents, trying to support himself after growing up the past few years without then, she must have taken some amount of sympathy for him, because he was hired on the spot, he was ecstatic at this news, and thanked her immensely for the opportunity.

Personality

Tetsuo’s psychological nature is slight cold and introverted, despite this he remains totally controlled and phlegmatic, especially concerning his projected self image. Tetsuo may come off as unemotional and austere, as he can be quite cold at times, however he diverts that inner strength of himself at the service of attaining his huge and long-term ambitions. Despite his outwardly cold and emotionless appearance, Tetsuo’s inner personality is often charming and gentle, as if the thick armor, forged throughout childhood, had entirely preserved the purity and the warmth of the soul imprisoned within.
Tetsuo prefers to keep his distance from others, so he often comes across as aloof and elusive. He has a rather cynical and even misanthropic view of the world around him, often belittling and mocking others and their emotions and the significance they place on friendship and life, in truth being rooted to his own insecurities within himself that he has never quite been able to deal with. And while he is relatively taciturn, he occasionally squabbles with and insults his teammates, mostly out of his own self insecurities. It is obvious that deep down he holds a certain amount of respect and kinship for his teammates, but seems to prefer to project another image. In combat, Tetsuo is very unbiased when it comes to his enemies. He shows the same degree of ruthlessness to his foes - regardless of age or gender, he never could understand peoples trouble grasping that, an enemy was an enemy, gender made no difference in who killed who. Tetsuo prefers to work on his own agenda, despite this, deep down he has struggled with his identity as a loner and his abandonment.

Appearance

Tetsuo is on the shorter side of the height scale, at only 4' 10" (excluding his hair). Despite his short size, he has a lean, somewhat toned build overall. He wears a white headband with the metal Kumokagure embossed logo over it, a bit unconventional compared to the color of most cloud ninjas headbands, but he was unique in his own ways. His eyes are crimson (blood red), with an angular and slightly slanted shape, giving him a very sinister look. He has spiky black hair with blue outlining and white streaks, accompanied by a skin complexion of a regular peach/pale combination. Living up to the classic villainous persona, he attire usually consists of material entirely in black. He wears a long black cloak-like jacket (with a white collar) and black pants tucked into black boots. He wears a black (and sometimes dark navy blue) undershirt under the jacket. He frequently carries a sword with him that he keeps strapped across his back.

Trivia

OOC Trivia:
Tetsuo has done Acid, Speed, Marijuana, and MDMA. He loves his psychedelics. Tetsuo is the Second, official at least, Yokai Jinchūriki for Kumogakure.
Tetsuo enjoys both sexes equally.
Tetsuo has a natural hatred for those born into the most famous clans in history, feeling shorted in that regard, he has no patience for the arrogance of the powerful.

Tetsuo thinks of Aria like a sister, and would cut through a thousand men to save her if he had to.
The yokai inside of Tetsuo has only called him by his actual name twice ever.
