Clothing: Miho has been known to wear a sleeveless maroon Iwagakure uniform. On the back of her sleeveless uniform is her clan symbol. On her legs, she wears fishnet tights and a maroon skirt over them. Along with her maroon skirt, she wears a brown lapel over her right leg. The brown lapel extends to the bottom of the knee. Miho also wears black shinobi sandals and a pair of fingerless gloves.On her forehead, she wears her Iwagakure hitai-ate. When traveling into the snowy mountains or other cold areas, Miho throws on a brown hooded poncho.
Physical Description: While in the village of Iwagakure, Miho is considered short for her age. However, for a female member of the Abe clan, it is not uncommon to be shorter than average. Miho has an hourglass figure and medium light brown hair. In her ears, Miho wears simple silver earrings. In her left ear, she has an industrial piercing where she wears a simple silver bar. Miho’s most notable feature is her Abe tattoo on her right bicep. The tattoo is two fish, one blue and one white circling each other, resembling the Yin-Yang symbol.

History

Chapter: 1 Childhood

It was a warm spring night; Aneko announced that it was time for Miho’s birth. Miho was born at 3:13am on April 17th, 2101. Aneko and Juro were proud to have a brand new baby girl in their life. In what seemed like a second, Miho was aging into a curious little girl. As she aged, Juro and Aneko quickly noticed that Miho had strong sixth sense. After noticing her sixth sense, Juro and Aneko had a suspicion Miho may be developing her gifts to hear spirits earlier than most. So, they wanted to observe Miho more in order to test their theory. After several days of observation they came to the conclusion that Miho had already developed her ability to be aware of the spirits around her. Some children in the Abe clan are initially afraid when they first hear spirits. Miho was not one of those children. In fact, she was excited to be hearing the spirits because she believed the voices around her were imaginary friends that she would often try to play with.

Flash forward to 2107. Iwagakure was just beginning to be invaded by Kumogakure. The ninja from Kumogakure were taking over the village. After Kumo had taken over Iwagakure, they began spreading out from the village. Soon, the Kumogakure ninja reached Senzoshinden. When they arrived, they expected to take it over with little to no struggle. They were wrong. The members of the Abe clan were worthy opponents and eventually able to overtake the Kumogakure ninja. However, that did not stop the village from still being under the control of Kumogakure. Two years after Iwagakure was taken over by the empire, they were finally able to free themselves. This was also the year in which Miho turned eight. After losing clan members during the attack years ago, Juro and Aneko decided to send Miho to the Academy. They knew that if Senzoshinden was invaded again, they would need an extra set of hands to fight off the enemy.

Chapter 2: The Academy

After her parents decided to send Miho to the Academy, she was going to need somewhere to stay. Juro and Aneko reached out to Sadato, the ambassador for the Abe clan inside Iwagakure. After speaking with Sadato, Miho moved in to the embassy. During her time at the academy, Miho excelled at Ninjutsu; however, she struggled severely with Genjutsu. One day, she came back to the embassy and asked Sedato for help. Sadato agreed to help and attempted to tutor Miho on genjutsu. No matter how hard she tried, Miho just could not get Genjutsu. After several months of tutoring, Sedato sat Miho down and let her know that she was what others called ‘feeble minded’. Sedato let her know that no matter how much she tried, she would always struggle with Genjutsu. With that in mind, he recommended Miho focus on her Ninjutsu instead. So she did. Eventually she was able to graduate from the Academy and move back to Senzoshinden.

Chapter 3: An Ancient Being

After moving back to Senzoshinden, her family believed it was time for her to receive her Abe clan tattoo. Once her tattoo was placed on her bicep, Yasuna placed Miho into a trance and began the Earthbound Ritual. Once the ritual began, Mihos spirit began to levitate above her body. For Miho, she wasn’t sure what she needed to do during the ritual. However, it was in that moment of confusion, the voices around her began to materialize in front of her. Miho could now see every spirit that she played with as a child. The spirits immediately recognized her, and welcomed her warmly. Miho asked the spirits if they knew what she was supposed to do. The spirits told her she was on her own journey to find her spirit. They let her know that when she found her spirit, she would know their name the instant she saw them. Unfortunately for Miho, none of them were able to provide additional information.

Miho then began to wander around the temple, much like she did when she was a child. She explored every room that she knew of. None of the spirits she found appeared to have names. After she had explored every room within the temple, she wondered if the spirit was perhaps outside. Miho walked around the exterior of the temple, still finding no luck. It was in that moment that Miho remembered the Abe graveyard nearby. After several minutes of walking, she found herself at the graveyard. She could only see one spirit. As Miho approached the spirit, a name popped within her mind. Without thinking about it, she yelled out a name, Hiroki. He turned around and saw Miho. He immediately grinned and ran towards her. Miho was not sure how to handle this situation. Hiroki eventually arrived at Miho and gave her a large hug. Miho did not much care for the hug because she did not like being touched. Once Hiroki was done hugging her, the two walked back towards her body. Once her spirit was near her body, it merged back into her body.

Once her spirit and body were merged, Miho opened her eyes. Juro, Aneko, and Yasuno welcomed her back. Immediately after welcoming her back, Hiroki took control over Miho. Miho began bouncing around, jumping for joy, and laughing uncontrollably. Juro and Aneko were confused as this was not typical for their daughter. Eventually Hiroki introduced himself to the others in the room. Miho fought back and took back control over body. She asked Yasuno what happened. He explained that initially after receiving her spirit, Hiroki would take control over her when he wanted to. Yasuno then let Miho know that as time went on and the more time she spent practicing, she would eventually gain control over Hiroki. Miho was not pleased by this news, but accepted it as something each member of the Abe clan was required to do. Miho decided to stay at Senzoshinden with her family, learning about Hiroki and practicing her control over him. However, after three years, Miho missed being a ninja and moved back to Iwagakure in hopes of finding a team to work with.

Appearance: Hiroki has frequently been described by Miho as a large man, standing just over six feet tall, and 250 lbs. Hiroki has vivid Blue-Green eyes, round cheeks, and bright Auburn hair in the style of a mid fade. Hiroki also has broad shoulders and round torso. Due to his body type, Hiroki is often described as potbellied. For his clothes, Hiroki wears a traditional red Iwagakure uniform with both sleeves, and a brown flak jacket.
Mask Appearance: While Miho’s Mask of Spirits is activated, it appears as a crimson Hannya mask. At its first rank, the forehead of the masks reveals itself. At the second rank, the eyes and nose of the mask appear. At the third rank, the mouth of Hannya mask appears. Finally, at the fourth rank, the horns appear.

Background

During Hiroki’s time on earth, there was considerable strife among the world. Each of the major hidden villages fought in endless battles. Due to the endless battles, each nation was forced to be ready to defend their country in a moments notice. When it came to defending Iwagakure, Hiroki was frequently one of the ninja involved due to his abilities. Hiroki was considered to be a powerful water style user with strong offensive and defensive abilities. Even though there was constant turmoil during his time, Hiroki occasionally requested permission to leave to front to head home.

While Hiroki was home, he would say that being a ninja was not the only profession that he identified with. While he was alive, he would often tell others his primary profession was being a father to two children, one boy and one girl. Hiroki loved being a father. When he was at home with his children, Hiroki was a loving parent who often played games with his children. In fact, it was his children who were his primary motivation to maintaining the safety of the village.

It was because of his strong desire to keep his children safe that he would often take difficult missions to defend the village. Just before the Second Great Ninja War, Hiroki accepted what would be his last mission. Iwagakure had received intelligence that Senzoshinden would soon be attacked. Enemies of Iwagakure hoped to use Senzoshinden as a base of operations. The Tsuchikage knew that the temple was not well defended during this period, so he sent several ninja there in hopes of defending it. After the ninja reached their destination, they began speaking with members of the Abe clan. Hiroki began to bond with many of the members within the clan. He enjoyed their company, except he found that many of them were too serious for his liking. He felt that the Abe clan could use a little more humor in their lives.

While walking around with temple one day, Hiroki noticed it was being invaded by countless enemy ninja’s. Hiroki was unsure where the ninja were from as he couldn’t see a Hitai-ate on any of them. Soon after the ninja had invaded, Hiroki and his allies had taken most of them out, and even lead them away from the temple. However, reinforcements for the opposing ninja eventually arrived. and Hiroki and his comrades were eventually overtaken. Many of Hiroki’s commares were killed during this battle. Hiroki became enraged at the loss of his comrades and went on a rampage, killing every last one of the enemy ninja. During the process of the battle though, he was seriously wounded. Fortunately, Hiroki was able to make his way back to Senzoshinden. Just as he arrived, he was greeted by a young member of the Abe clan. The young member attempted to yell for a medic, but Hiroki knew it was too late. He looked at the young Abe directly in the eye, and promised that he would protect Senzoshinden right before passing away.
