Marijus Vick

Marijus Vick, Vice Admiral of the I.A.F.

Marijus Vick is the acting Vice Admiral of the Iwagakure Air Federation. He is also known to be the spiritual student of Loyola Nine and holds the title of the most powerful Ninjutsu wielders in the entire country. Whether he is or not is hard to tell as there is no way to test, but his powerful attacks are questioned by no one who has seen them. His personal motto is "An enemy must be crushed so thoroughly that they will never stand before you again."

Biography

Vick was born in a small mountainous mining village in the northern edges of the Country of Earth. In fact, his village was not even considered to exist by the country’s government until Vick was nine years of age. As a young child in a mining village, Vick was taught to help by his father and mother and would often help do tasks that required him to climb high on the mountain sides and retrieve scouting for new mine locations. When government officials came to his village when he was ten to take a census, a Jounin who had been with them for protection from bandits noticed Vick and saw a talent in him. Taking him as an apprentice with the permission of his parents, the Jounin would have Vick travel with him and the census officials as they continued to journey across the entire country, stopping in every village along the way to Metropolis. It was from this teacher that he learned his philosophy of striking a blow so critical to the enemy that they will never face you again. By the time Vick was twelve his teacher was confident in his abilities and with special permission he was permitted to take the academy exam to become a full fledges gennin. He passed with a close to perfect score and was adopted into Iwagakure no Sato and placed in a regular team. Though he still considered the Jounin his one and only teacher, he began to learn from many others in the village as well.

Vick rose in rank making it to Chuunin rank and preparing for the Jounin exams at the early age of 16. He also admired Loyola Nine, a higher up at the time in the village’s ANBU organization. Nine had trained Vick and was even helping him prepare for his exams, taking on a mentor role to the young man. However, the Kumogakure Empire soon attacked and Vick was sent to protect the village elders while Nine stayed and fought the blitzkrieg force. Nine was captured and Vick escaped only to live in hiding for the next year and a half, working with Koizumi Hikado to gather the resistance forces in the Country of Earth.

By the time the resistance overthrew the Empire in the Country of Earth, Vick was just as powerful as many of the Jounins even if he was still a Chuunin in rank. He had also gained his reputation for the strongest manipulation of Ninjutsu in the country, being able to strike down opponent’s with pinpoint precision and with destructive force. It was because of Vick as well that Hikado was able to quickly and easily release Nine from imprisonment, though he will never admit his involvement to his mentor. He respect him to much to take credit for helping to free him from captivity.

When the I.A.F. was formed, Vick was nominated as a Rear Admiral for his extensive knowledge of battle tactics and formations, as well as his ability to lead. For the last five years he has served this position loyally.

Personality

Vick has a very dry personality. He is extremely talented at his job and is known for being able to deal crushing blows in combat, deciding battles in the first few moments. He does not play in a fight and will hold nothing back if challenged. To compliment this, his speech towards others is unrestrained and blunt. He will never place emotions in his words as he is perfectly in control of his own, but will often throw insulting words without seeming to mean any harm.

He is also extremely literal.
