Daniel Hollows
Daniel Hollows is the current Prime Minister of the Country of Earth, making him the political head of the entire country. He has been in office for three years and is well known for his involvement in the Yuki no Kuni negotiations and treaties, most notably the controversial Tsuchi Yuki Aggression Declaration.

Background
Daniel was born in the small farming village of Resworn in the Country of Earth to James and Kaede Hollows. The family has a long history of naming their first male child with names from an ancient religious book that the family brought with them as an heirloom when they moved from the west generations ago. In accordance with that tradition, they have also kept the naming convention for their family which consists of the family name following the name of the family member, rather than the traditional surname and then first name. It is unsure just how long ago the Hollows moved to the Country of Earth, but it has been at least six generations if not many more.
At the early age of six, Daniel and his family moved to Metropolis when his father James, who had been the sheriff of his old town, was given a promotion and asked to work in the capital as a Deputy Chief of police. Daniel’s mother, who had previously worked as an assistant in a small general store in town, moved with her husband and would give up working until Daniel was much older.
Daniel, for the most part, grew up in the schools and streets of Metropolis, enjoying his life and studying to become the best that he could. He decided at a very early age that he was going to become a lawyer, watching his father try his best and eventually become the Chief of Metropolis Police. Daniel wanted to be on the other side, bringing justice to light. Very early on it was discovered that Daniel was very bright, and very determined at that. He graduated with top marks in his High School two years early and moved to University. Though it was in his first year at University that the country was consumed into the Kumogakure Empire, it only pushed him harder to finish his schooling. He would graduate with a degree in law within three years, just shortly before the country would be freed of the Empire.
Daniel immediately was picked up and hired with a law firm, but with his influence and charisma in events and trials he was soon pushed into the political stage as the country was flipping in turmoil after the fall of the Kumogakure Empire. Through the confusion that followed in the government, Daniel found himself rapidly ascending as he got a following behind him and his views and his sight was soon on a larger goal than just bringing justice in the court room. As elections came for Prime Minister, Daniel positioned himself in a place to get pushed as a candidate and was quickly elected as well. From that point on he was in the public eye.
Daniel, however, has a dislike for ninja and their sense of doing things, leading to fighting and wars without thought or consent. Because of this, he works hard to remove as much power as he can from Iwagakure no Sato and place it instead in Metropolis. When the I.A.F. was created he heavily backed to project from Metropolis, demanding a port in the city and that non ninja be allowed to enlist and serve.
Personality
Daniel is a very intelligent and charismatic leader with a strong following and level ideas that are easily agreed upon. He is considerate and polite, but easily angered when it is not returned. As such, he hates when Alchem Syaoran appears with the use of ninjutsu, he considers it a rude intrusion. In the public eye Daniel never misses a beat, always having the perfect appearance of an angel to the people. Within the walls of the government though he gets work done and it doesn’t matter who is getting run over to get results if he believes it will benefit the country in the end. Overall, Daniel is a good man with the best of intentions for the country; however he also realizes that the world is not the best place and that sometimes measures must be taken that no one likes.
