Hinshi
The cursed blade of Oketsu himself. It is said to be a blade forged from the very hate in Oketsu's heart. The sword measures 3 1/2 feet in length. The sword is made of a black steel folded over several times. The sword resembles a normal katana, except for the dark coloring. It's sheath is a deep black as well. The sword is said to hold incredible powers bestoyed upon it by death itself, and the bloodthirsty aura it gives in battle has given its weilder nicknames such as the Black Swordsman. Some powers that the blade is rumored to have is the power to destroy weapons of weaker essence than itself from shear will and the power to return the pain that its owner has experiences. As well, there are curses that are rumored as well, including being bound to the owner until their death and an incredibly taxing cost to use on one's body. It is said that it takes a very powerful person to effectively weild such a katana.
- Alchem Syaoran obtained this blade after the end of the Akatsuki Invasion.
- Along the upper edge, near the hilt, are two very faint small kanji carved in white. They say "Meiki" and "Akasabure Genome" or "Remember Akasabure Genome". This was carved in by Alchem Syaoran after he obtained the blade.
